GLTY as well. See you on another board.
That's all that's left to do, claim the loss.
GLTY
Had this from way back. Tried to sell last year when it popped up over .10 for a bit but they never took the order. Only 2K shares left. Oh well. I guess I can claim the loss now.
Is this one officially dead?
oops. maybe not.
Everyone here should check out John Simmonds' other companies - most notably Newlook and WLSA - before making any decisions regarding this stock.
If you want a more detailed description of how this group does business please email me at wberksall@live.com and I will gladly share my experience.
I'm sitting in Vernon downs right now, and I can tell you they have the tightest slots around and deff don't know how to run a casino. Very tacky joint. Tioga downs is too small.

Is This Bad News?
No Assembly help for Vernon Downs
By:LEAH McDONALD, Dispatch Staff Writer
10/24/2007
VERNON - A bill that would allow rural racing casinos like Vernon Downs to keep more of their video lottery terminal money did not appear in the state Assembly Tuesday.
"There's been some concerns about minimum race days and purse money for horse races," said Assemblyman Bill Magee, D-111. "So we will be addressing all those issues and coming back with something at some future date, which could be this year, but I'm not sure of that."
The current bill has been revised from a previous one after Assemblyman James Gary Pretlow, D-87, opposed it on the basis that giving vendors more money would take away from state education. Currently, vendors keep just under 30 percent and the rest goes to the state.
Jeff Gural, who purchased Vernon Downs out of bankruptcy, has previously said that that the bill is needed to keep his establishment from closing. He was unavailable for comment.

TPWR can pop very soon!
... lobbying for a bill, already introduced in the Senate and Assembly — that would bring in millions more for the operators and provide additional money for marketing and to build new facilities. The bill, sponsored by state Sen. William Larkin Jr., R-C-Cornwall, and Assemblyman Bill Magee, D-Nelson, would mean that the track would receive 40 percent of the take, and would get 10 percent — up from 8 percent — for marketing and promotions. The bill would also return 4 percent (or a maximum of $3 million annually) to the operator to make improvements to the attraction.

"Gural said his and his partners' commitment to keep Vernon Downs open past June 30 is dependent upon the passage of state legislation next month that will let the racino keep a larger share of video gaming revenue."

TPWR closed over 50 day moving average today!
I think TPWR is about to explode! With a full quarter of operations behind them, we should get blowout revenue numbers in the next filing, which I believe is this month!
The steady accumulation of these shares speaks volume about what may soon happen, hard to believe the price hasn't already taken off!
I tried to buy at the bid for 2 days with only miniscule shares given to me, so I bought at the ask today for a couple hundred thousand shares.
Here is the chart, the accumulation is amazing.
Dunno nothin about no Vernon, but this thing keeps popping up in my scans so I may have to nibble on that info alone:)
december
Is this pos gonna bounce or what??? Anyone heard anything on Vernon
Lots of volume lately, but price going in the wrong direction. Not much activity here (on this board) either. Any predictions if this stock will ever recover or is it on its way out?
thanks for the heads up, I will check it out...
hey skip, muzic has a great board, and i think he is looking for an assistant mod. you are a chart killer. im hanging out over there sometimes,, lol.. give it a thought. its right up your alley..

Well,,i saw CMF and found it confusing too, because i see lots of domping right on th bid sometimes, me and mach think its the resigned director, but its just a wild guess
I don't think that it looks like dilution at all. Look at the positive CMF and A/D line. Both are positive and would suggest accumulation, rather than dilution. Not to mention, they do not have any dilutive filings open or filed.
I would appreciate your insight, maybe you are seeing something I am not.

once they stop dumping, hopefully soon, she goes,,look likes dilution to me, hopefully it will end soon, for the bounce off 005
Getting ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!
skip, it so close to a breakout, just needs a lil push!
I like it, due for a breakout, positive accumulation with a decrease in share price...they'll let it go soon...

TPWR, i kind of liking that black candle a few days back before the hammer,,could be signs of bottom at 005
looks like its due for a break out

I like this one, here is my little blurb on one reason why I bought it...
I talk about this indicator quite a bit...notice the uptrend of the A/D line on TPWR...
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=TPW...d=p78907253254
Now take a look at this tutorial...notice how similar TPWR's A/D line is to stockcharts.com's examples of WMT and AA (halfway down the page, look at the heading "Accumulation and Distribution Line Signals")...
http://stockcharts.com/education/Ind...mDistLine.html
now, I am not saying the TPWR is of the caliber of Wal-Mart or Alcoa, nor do I care, however, I do see striking similarities in that A/D uptrend. Something I haven't seen with a stock down here...
Notice the big breakouts in those stocks after the A/D line was in a long term uptrend. Despite being down at some times, the A/D line kept chugging upward. Eventually the market corrected and it pushed the PPS higher.
TPWR seems to be in a long term A/D uptrend, too; despite it going lower. That's interesting to me...will the market correct itself positively here too?
but, that o/s is pretty big, so it might not go huge. But, they aren't diluting anymore, at least not right now...
Something tells me that .019 is not out of the question. It was just there a couple of months ago, with the same bloated o/s, I might add...
That's just the A/D line, there are other things that make this nice as well...
