Carl Rice is listed as one of the partners in Lixus Gold LLC.
He likely did the claim locations and staking for Lixus.
A Jake Binson now owns the Yellow Jacket and Phoenix properties and from what I hear is preparing to begin production. I am told there has been a bunch of earthwork on the properties recently.
The U.S. Dept. of Homeland Defense widened the road and I understand the Y.J. or someone hired some drilling and blasting done along it as well.
Another public company by the name of United Mines Inc. has claimed a large area in the vicinity that includes portions of the old Lixus ground. They may be working with the Yellow Jacket owner on things such as the Road to the Ostrich and mine production as the Road that goes by the Ostrich mine has bladed and widened as well as the road going out towards Oro Blanco.
I do wonder if that is what happened to Lixus? Took a few min. and checked out UNMN on this site
It appears they are a new company that includes at least one Lixus member on their board, a Glynn A. Burkhardt.
Help...
I was in 36B for scouting for whitetails for the first time in a while and when there around Arivaca I went to the yellow Jacket Road to see what Lixus Gold was up to.
A post from some time ago said they were reorganizing and would be mining.
When I first went in the back road was fairly good all the way to Ruby road.
When I came back later it had been improved to the Yellow Jacket Mine and looked like a freeway.
But all the buildings and equipment were gone and nothing but the rent a fence was there. No signs of any mining.
I checked out the location monuments by the road and none of them mention Lixus, only a Carl Rice. Have they gone the way of Galaxy? Is another scam taking shape? Can anyone let me know if any solid info is available. The lastest mentions of the Yellow Jacket are confusing. Whats going on? SCK
Hi Az.. yea i had some galaxy shares and had to write them off.. i cant understand what happened here.. gaxy did do boring samples and brought in some equipment but then just left everything there and abandoned it...... what a disaster for us shareholders. If there is a decent amount of gold I wish the new owners luck.. I heard of the yellowjackets history and knew of its physical aspects from a kid that went dirt bike riding thru that area often and from the park service rep next door. Im making more money on the latest market crash and rebuild and am happy... but i still would love to have known more about the yellow jacket..back to the 1800's.. if you read this and have some info you would like to send me, i would love to see it... prb110@aol.com good luck with your investments.
I was not aware of galaxy when I stumbled on this web site.
I was working on financing to buy both mines from the hedge fund.
I spoke with the hedge fund and the certified geologist who created the reports documenting over $1 billion dollars in gold ready to pull from the ground. The geologist said he stands behind his report and is available to help with the project.
When I visited the property last year, there were quaartz formations containing gold shooting out of the ground on top of the colapsed main tunnel system. They must have been exposed after some Seismic activity over the years.
My financing feel through when the ecconomy crashed. While I was trying to figure out plan "B" the mine was purchased.
I think the group that bought the property was brilliant. That mine is going to make a fortune, and I heard that the new owner will have the mine in full production soon. Good Luck to him.
I can send you the certified geologist report from 2006, his contact nunber, and a completed engineering diagram for the on site processing systems which was on the web for a while if you IM me.
Thanks for the update Bab... wow.. hey i have some gold mine property about 50 miles off the coast of new jersey.. just need a way to market it.. : ) im looking at cit now.. and put some cash in mnkd. bac looks like it has some life... aaah i do know of another gold mine plan in africa.. i think the symbol is lvca or smvi. good luck.
READY TO GET PISSED OFF? These guys should be in prison.

Larry Glassman as I understand it is a partner of Scott Goldstein and the info. here is on the same web site that was offering the YJ for sale in May.
http://www.theyellowjacketmine.com/
What was on this website offering the yellow Jacket for sale is identical to what was on Goldsteins Ebay sales page as Gemrush Jewelry.

This shows without a doubt, that all the stock purchasers in Galaxy Minerals were the victims of massive fraud as this info. on the site came directly from parners in Galaxy. WOW!

The TRUTH about the Yellow Jacket Mine in the Oro Blanco mining district of Santa Cruz County Arizona.
In May 2009 Jacob Binson, a New Jersey Pawn Broker, and owner of Binson Pawn Brokers New Jersey paid $2.2 million dollars CASH to purchase the Yellow Jacket gold mine.
Jacob Binson purchased the mine from a Hedge Fund who foreclosed on the mine from Stealth Enterprises who purchased the mine in 1999 from the Widow Mildred Lemons for $80,000 after her husband Charlie Lemons, who mined the property from 1976 until the day he died in 1997. The hedge fund paid $15,000 CASH to the Santa Cruz county sheriff to purchase the Yellow Jacket at a Sherriff’s sale.
Then, Jacob Binson paid $2.2 million dollars for the Yellow Jacket mine who the 3 geologists who visited the Yellow Jacket in 2008 and 2008 said was impossible to mine.
This web site will give you the COMPLETE history of the Yellow Jacket and tell you why Jacob Binson wasted his money on a worthless hole in the ground in the Arizona desert.
(I ask, so what and why are they concerned, everyone knew about GCA as I posted it here long ago.)
THIS IS THE STORY OF THE YELLOW JACKET
Thomas Roddick located the Yellow Jacket gold mine on the Ostrich “lode” on July 31, 1874. From the beginning, Robert Leatherwood, John Bartlett, and Doctor John C. Handy operated the mine through “indenture” agreements with Roddick. There was a flurry of successful mining activity throughout the rest of the 1870’s, with great expectations for the future.
Dr. John. C. Handy owned the Yellow Jacket mine from 1881 to 1889, with Leatherwood and Bartlett as partners. During most of that period, the mine was idle, although Leatherwood patented the Yellow Jacket in 1887.
The Yellow Jacket resumed operations in the 1890’s and produced intermittently for many years. By 1890 the 20-acre Yellow Jacket mining property had a shaft of 50-foot depth. A school and a bar served the mine. Mining operations began with arrastras, but in 1892 miners build a 20-stamp mill. The Yellow Jacket shaft depth was 250 feet, working four levels, with 1,200 feet of tunnels. Water for the Yellow Jacket mill came from a spring deep within the mine at a rate of 40,000 gallons per day, more than twice what the milling operation required. This on-sight critical water resource was unique in the district. But the mine closed in 1896 with the ore virtually worked out.
A Philadelphia company reopened the Yellow Jacket gold mine in 1915. Edward E. Noon, a grandson of Adolphus Noon, owner of the Austerlitz mine, was the foreman of the work. The new miners planned to overhaul the mill, clean out the shaft, and put the mine on a paying basis. But the mine operated only intermittently.
In 1930, Charles L. (Abe) Farra looked for rich values in the old workings of former well-known producers in the OBMD near the Mexican border. Farra obtained gold concentrate samples from the old Yellow Jacket mine showing values of $38,000 to $58,000 per ton. Farra and his associates obtained rights to the mining, began pumping water from the shaft and tunnels, and planned to reopen the mine. After months of idleness during the Great Depression, 18 men started work at the Yellow Jacket in June 1933.5 But, as with the Oro Blanco mines, this reincarnation of the Yellow Jacket achieved very little production
The Yellow Jacket gold mine showed renewed life briefly in 1959. Owner C. A. Johnson of Lakeside, Arizona leased the mine to the Canadian Gold Mining Company to perform exploratory work on mining feasibility. The Canadian company worked a three-shift operation to repair the old shafts and crosscuts. They cleaned out and retimbered the main adit, 500 feet in length and started to do geological examinations.
The Canadian Company sampled the ore at depths of 150, 200, and 250-feet, however, indications were not favorable so the Canadian Gold Mining Company terminated operations.
In 1972, 40-year Arizona prospector Charles Lemons bought the Yellow Jacket gold mine. Lemons retimbered the main tunnel and built a small mill to process ore. In a labor of love, the old prospector made daily trips to the canyon to work the mine. Lemons’ one-man shoestring operation lasted until his death in 1997. Lemons’ wife Mildred took over ownership of the mine until she sold it to Stealth Enterprises of Chicago in 1999 for $80,000. (Stealth Enterprises is Goldstein and Co.)
Top 10 Reasons The Yellow Jacket mine will never be brought operational
10) The YJ mine is in the middle of the desert
9) The YJ mine has no electrical power
8) The YJ mine is 20 acres surrounded by National Forest with NO PLACE for the tailings
7) The plant to process the ore will take up 1/2 of the 20 acre parcel. How do you expect to mine it?
6) There are no roads to get to the mine. The national forest will block you
5) No commercial enterprise mined the YJ since 1896? Hmmmm. I wonder why?
4) The Geologists said the mine was MINED OUT in 1896!
3) The Canadian Company reviewing the mine in 1956 found NO GOLD
2) 3 groups of Geologists reviewing the mine in 2008 said it was not a viable project. No access. No place for the tailings. No place for the plant. No electric. No water.
and the number 1 reason the Yellow Jacket has NOT been operational since 1896
1) ANYBODY that tells you that they have a Gold Mine for sale is a LIAR standing in front of a hole in the ground!
Jacob Binson learned of the project from the people who owned the mine for the last 10 years. They shared information with Jacob Binson about a joint venture to re-purchase the property and he used that information to locate the hedge fund that foreclosed on the property and Jacob Binson then circumvented them and PURCHASED the Yellow Jacket for $2.2 million dollars.
We don’t expect that Jacob Binson, the Pawn Broker from New Jersey will ever get the mine operational because of the serious logistical problems with the mine, but, if anybody hears of his efforts please let us know!
After Mildred sold the mine in 1999, the mine which is a pig, was dressed in a pink polka-dot dress, with bright red lip stick, and a Russian Pawn Broker fell in love!
(So Stealth sold this to Galaxy Minerals {their own Corp.} knowing that in their minds it was mined out. Then Galaxy sold the investors what they thought was a pig in a poke.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Pump and Dump.
Remember, it is not a matter of whether or not there is gold in the mine, it appears it was the intent of Stealth and Galaxy to defraud investors while they were in possesion of documentation they felt showed that the mine was worthless.)
a lot of sad stories out there...... i ended up investing in some of the larger companies like bac and lvs.. and still have alot of shares in the penny alt ernergy company arsc. f did me well in 08. lvs should be on the rise again with the summer tourism. good luck.. i had to stop by here to see what is going on. would have liked to actually visit that site out there in the middle of nowhere. also looking at ttrif in the sub penny since i have owned it for years.. lol..
I'm sure that the county it's located in would have records of the transaction. That's most likely the easiest way to find out the date of the sale. As for the new owner? they may be an individual or a corp. You just need to look it up.
Do you know when it was sold? How can we find out who the new owners are?
The Yellow Jacket and Phoenix properties have been sold to settle debts.
Hi, This You Tube vid. is not the Yellow Jacket Mine in Ariz.
From what I understand from others who live near it and know better than I, the principals gutted the property of all valued equipment. Even most of the old scrap metal was removed and sold. I also understand the road afer the summer rains is till pretty much impassable.Other properties in the area are being accessed by two other roads in different canyons.
Thanks P A I love ghosts as long as they are pleasant.. I send the unruly ones to go after the principles of the small cap companies that scam investors. Have a great 2009.
The remains of that yellowjacket mine must be a total disaster now... the old generator is probably totally rotted out and everything else scavanged... what a disaster... Ive learned to stay away from small micro cap stocks now.. made money on the big boys, volitility... in and out.. faster than quick draw mcgraw. good luck all in 09. g
Dear Miner49, you mentioned "I have more and its getting more interesting°. I am very interested to find out from you what more information you can give me on that matter. Please send me a personal email to actsuccess@web.de Thanks

LMAO! WOW! This went from a pump and dump scam to what appears to be an attempt to outright rip-off the shareholders.
This bankruptcy and the distribution of assets is still being decided in court.
As I understand there is no clear title on the properties.
I'll bet he is hoping to get a buyer and then make deals with the creditors/court. If successful he would then walk away with a few to as many as ten million dollars in his pocket, from the sale of a property that the investors made saleable by their stock purchase monies being spent on exploration to prove the reserves. Oh Man! This guy is a real gem. He's going to throw all of you under the bus and walk away with a fat wallet and smile on his face. You must admit he has gall, but the morals of an alley cat in heat. LOL!
I'm surprised he has survived this long if this is his normal business MO.
Lets all take a ride down to AZ and the yellow jacket.. see whats doin there... : ) maybe pan for some of our lost gold??
They still trying to scam the people... those are the types you'd just like to get ahold of. maybe they can sell it to some border runners.
does that mean we get to grab some of that?
FYI....The Yellow Jacket Mine is up for sale on Ebay this week for 20,000,000. Offered By Scott Gold...
Ive written this thing off as a tax loss.. It will never come back.. If anything they are probably going to pull out what they can from the ground and make their own $$$ off of it.. The only way to get anything out of these pigs is to go to the site and dig what gold you can out of the ground there.. I bet there isnt much of anything.. These slimeballs need to know that they hurt alot of people.. May the higher being strike them down. good luck tradin everyone... im lookin at the airlines to maybe come back in the fall if fuel prices drop, thats usually a given but these are crazy times.. eom. also arsc in alt hydrogen generators for residential homes.
Hello guys, I believe that we may have a solution which may result in you getting some or all of your money back on this deal! It certainly is a slippery if not treacherous situation but... If you are prepared to roll with it, you may be able to put this mess behind you. If you've done your homework you may know what we have in mind. If not, why not just hitch your wagon to ours and come along for the ride. We've been here & seen it all before, and have the T shirt to prove it but more importantly, we got our money back & the perps probably still have no idea what happened. You want in?
Yep, I think that means you can stick a fork in it.
Certs for the bathroom or wall paper.
so does that mean we're done? that's it! or we can still something out of this?

Jo, whatever you do, don't dump. we've been holding for a while, i for 1 whatever i have left is not worth mush, so am just gonna let it ride in god's hands and see where it goes.
good luck to you buddy.
u were 100 percent rt, we got a screwing,,,,how the heck do these guys sleep at night, , tell me,, anyway going to take almost a year to recoup the loses on rgno scam , they were so sneaky switching the stae of corporation and hiding all the bs,, , what u think tell my guys to dump it here or hold on,,,thanks
i know, i am dealing with my 3rd PinkSheet scam as we speak. you can check RGNO to see what's going on.
but it has been posted on that beard that we can file complaints using this link:
https://tts.sec.gov/acts-ics/do/complaint
i already did on all 3 companies, GAXY, MDBH and RGNO. i think am done with pinks! until the next one :)
Does the default and cancellation of the shares allow us to find and flog these individuals?? there should be a definite allowance.. its so ironic too, look at the price of gold these days. Scammers need a lesson at all levels.
not at all. how much were they offering? they can take mine :)
I have been contacted by Crawford Clarke M&A allegedly of Phoenix AZ wanting to buy my Galaxy shares for a tax write-off. Probably a scam - does anyone else know of this??
This might help explain what this trash was doing.
Straight pump and dump.
Didn't even take the time to file with the SEC to keep the investors coming in.
musta been one heck of a party!
GCA is a creditor of large proportions to Galaxy. They hold the assets of Galaxy and several principles as collateral on a loan the corp. recieved from them and spent.

ENFORCEMENT PROCEEDINGS
IN THE MATTER OF GALAXY MINERALS, INC.
An Administrative Law Judge has issued an Order Making Findings and
Revoking Registration by Default (Default Order) in the matter of
Galaxy Minerals, Inc. The Order Instituting Proceedings alleged that
Galaxy Minerals failed repeatedly to file required annual and
quarterly reports while its securities were registered with the
Securities and Exchange Commission. The Default Order finds these
allegations to be true and revokes the registration of each class of
Galaxy Minerals' registered securities, pursuant to Section 12(j) of
the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. (Rel. 34-56326; File No. 3-12700)
The problem here is that these people opened up OTCBB so they were above the pinks.
At any level you can get into pump and dumps.. Just look at Enron.
Take a good look at the company and find out the experiance behind the scenes. There are some companies out there with good officers in the mining business however when you see a funeral director or a health specialist at the head of a mining corp you might want to move slow.
Ok, thanks baboquivari... ive learned to be real careful with the pinksheet stocks.
Hey g2285,
you wrote
"what is the deal? if they actually have some minerals somewhere, why arent they out there lowering their debt load?? someone should force them to work."
I think the situation is something like this.
They opened on the OTCBB with a property that had been partially proven. The values stated are somewhat low and according to their own info on the net they only drilled 4 holes into the Yellow Jacket deposit. This does not make a viable deposit. They then brought in a mineral consulting firm that took numerous surface samples that gave some descent assays but once again that is not drilling and proving a deposit. They did find gold. However with the limited work they did not have enough info to target a specific area in the mineralized zone. They never identified a high grade area to start mining that would boost profit at the beginning. As the company squandered the money from the stock and kept giving press releases about production that never came to be, the word was getting out that it appeared to be a pump and dump. Investors started fleeing and the price took a sever dump. Now it appears the company hasn't filed the proper SEC filings and appears that the SEC has halted all trading of the stock.
they have enteres Chapter 11 twice that I know of and booted out be a judge at lease once. During this time I saw in the registrations with the SEC at least one principal registering to dump his stock. And on and on and on.
What it comes down to is this.
Even if Galaxy were able to re-organize who would be crazy enough to invest in this company. To begin production on a limited scale of say 25-50 TPD you are looking at a cost that will be from $150,000-200,000 for the equipment plus wages and state and federal permiting. A judge is not able to force the ccompany to do this.
I believe that the stock holders should contact an attorney to see if fraud charges can be filed.
what is the deal? if they actually have some minerals somewhere, why arent they out there lowering their debt load?? someone should force them to work.
Looks like a stop in trading for the time being.. gaxy is not coming up as a tradable stock on my watchlist. still have shares here.
Thank you for the update Baboquivari.. Im currently also struggling with ptel and arsc.. both have some hopes. I have to wonder if there is any recoverable gold ore at the yellow jacket site... it must have been a grand old time for those guys while they were there.. have a good day.

Galaxy is still in and out of Chapter 11. The 11 has been tossed out twice that I know of. GCA is holding the paper on the Yellow Jacket and Phoenix properties. They are currently in the process of getting a judgment against Galaxy that will include all hard assets including the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix. Kiss those properties good-by!
I don't think this bunch ever planned on mining anything but the investors pockets. You can go back and read my previous posts and warnings during my investigations.
At one time I owned GAXY stock.
I see no hope for share holders getting even a partial return.
I would hope the current stock holders will consult a corporate attorney on what actions can be taken to remove the current board and CEO. Replace with new officers and a reoganisation plan under the chapter 11. Find out if the current and past officers and principals can be charged with criminal or felony fraud charges.
On a side note. I was in the Tubac, Arizona area, not far from the Oro Blanco Dist., last month and ran into a treasure hunter who was for a short time associated with the Galaxy principals and former owners of the Yellow Jacket/Phoenx properties. He had quite a story about their partying all night, every night and their forays into the red light/canal districts in Nogales, Mexico. Then sleeping all day while equipment that was rented sat unused at the mine site or near their R.V. He thought they did this for about a month and then went back to Chicago with according to him about a 100 Lb bale of Whacky Tabacky that they took from a drug runner.
Sounds like a real bunch of goof balls to me.
Hang these scammers.WTF...ENFORCEMENT PROCEEDINGS - IN THE MATTER OF GALAXY MINERALS, INC.
Jul 19, 2007 (SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION RELEASE/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- On July 18, the Commission issued an Order Instituting Proceedings and Notice of Hearing Pursuant to Section 12(j) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 against Galaxy Minerals, Inc. The Division of Enforcement (Enforcement) alleges that Galaxy is a Florida corporation with offices in Lake Villa, Illinois with a class of securities registered with the Commission pursuant to Exchange Act Section 12(g). According to the Division, Galaxy is delinquent in its periodic filings with the Commission, having not filed a periodic report since it filed a Form 10-QSB for the period ended Sept. 30, 2005. The Order institutes public administrative proceedings to determine, among other things, whether it is necessary and appropriate for the protection of investors to suspend for a period not exceeding twelve months, or to revoke the registration of each class of securities of Galaxy registered pursuant to Section 12 of the Exchange Act. Thank you for the update miner49.. just getting back from vacation here from new hapmshire.. I still have my shares, didnt use em for papering yet.. will monitor the site and im sure its going to get more interesting.. its amazin how people and companies will try to talk their way out of illogical situations.
1. All the claims that are being mined by Trinty Metals in the owners name Galaxy Minerals Inc. are not Legal. They were paper staked (paper filed without claim marker being put in place) by a Shelly L. Conrad, then Quit claim deeded to Galaxy. No quit claim on record. seems Shelly and Galaxy are in same City , Lake Villa, Il. her phone number on forms is not her number.
2. They were suppose to be staked in January, (have you ever been to Sitkinak in January??) and then she was to have suppose to stake 64,000 acres in a day, Hmmm????? not possible.
3. Mining Notice was made under Minex International, Yoram Palkovitch, he is a importer of toys and trinkets from India. Moves around alot in Anchorage, different addresses and Phone numbers. Yoram currently owes the Kodiak Island Bureau over $5000.00 in back fees.
4. as of yet I can find no mining permits being issued to any of the companies mentioned.
5. Not sure but I believe Galaxy has filed bankruptcy chapter 11. on the net there is a lot of speculation and complaining of their stock being bogus...
6. The exploration before mining was not completed in a feasible manner, meaning any mining company would have drilled an alluvial deposit, numerous places and depths and times, before committing any equipment to the area. The minerals mentioned are not out the ordinary for the Kodiak area , no stats were given. usually given in parts per million or oz's per ton.. that's fishy..
I have more and its getting more interesting, I hope no one in Kodiak has invested in this scheme..
All the information was obtained in public records and are for my own use.
Do we have any assets left??? What up? Can we get a response here from whoever is buying like 50k shares at a time of gaxy? Is there any type of hope? please xplain.
