what is happening with this company? seems like they pumped and bailed out. is there a GAXY or is this a scam.
Ok, That being the case now.. What are the odds of us getting an environmentally sound processing operation going on the national forest side of the project? im sure that the wildlife refuge area will not permit any type of mining operation, and rightly so. Its just sad to own stock in a company that is doing nothing while the value of its potential asset is going thru the roof. We, as investors, should be kept up to date on the happenings at galaxy... even if its a pink sheet co. thanks for your update.
Just one correction. The Yellow Jacket/Phoenix patented mining claims are over 1 mile inside the USFS boundries. I have no idea what the USFS offiial was thinking, but she needs to learn how to use a topo and a GPS. The Yellow Jacket Canyon in which the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix project is located starts out in the National Forest and flows north into the Buenos Aries Wildlife Refuge as well. Also, all roads for access of the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix project are USFS roads.
I was actually on site in June this last year and also spoke with the Nogales USFS District Ranger. Please see message #228 below.
I spoke with a geologist from the coronado forest service and she was saying that she heard of galaxy doing some test borings a few months ago but nothing much since.. and that the yellow jacket mine is outside of the forest lands. I hope they get their asses in gear and start some work on the project soon because gold is over 500/oz now. The sec should be happy if they get their act together and start working out there, i would think?.. they should do it themselves and not hire subcontractors.. let them get dirty and cut up while proving that they are legitimate. I also talked to a kid online, from arivaca, that goes dirt biking out there and he told me of the fences and road blockage. Im also watching another junior mining co. out in arizona, kachina or kchg. It has jumpped around like gaxy used to do. was up to .10/share.. they are actually in production and looking for more properties. I hope we see some action here soon.. that helps the stock out. Will post anything else i hear on this too. good luck all.
It is my understanding that Lixus Gold has undergone re-organiation and is preparing to go public Q1 06. I do not know yet what their new name will be or if they will keep Lixus Gold. The web site was taken down for the time being as the re-orgaination and possible name change are in the works.
It is also my understanding that serious legal action will be taken against Galaxy if Galaxy attemps to block access roads to any of the Lixus properties adjacent to or surrounding the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix patents.
Lixus according to my source is currently shipping small batches of ore for metallugial testing purposes and intends to begin pilot plant testing/minor production on an au/ag property in southern AZ.in the near future. This so they can generate mining/milling costs as well as recovery perentages and cost projections.
I have been told that the equipment is already in place for 5 tpd pilot runs for gravity/batch leach and 50-80 tpd heap leaching tests.
I understand that they have also recieved approval of their MPO exploration plan from the USFS on the Ostrich property S.E. of the Galaxy project.
I have been pretty busy up here in the cold country but wouldn't mind taking a trip south around Christmas and New Years for a bit of warmth. Might get a chance to swing by the project area while there.
By the way I received confirmation a couple of weeks ago that subpoenas were issued to current and past Galaxy employees, advisors, officers, Etc. by the SEC for problems with the promotion of their projects.
If I hear anything else I will post.
g2285 I was at the Yellowjacket last week.
The only sign of activity since the last rain was some more of the " Rent-A-Fence " had been put up and Forest Road 4157
going south into Mexico has been blocked by dozer berms and the rent a fence.I don't know how they got permission to totally block a National Forest Road. Must be trading favors with some of the FS Greenies?
Does anyone know what is going on with Lixus Gold ? The roads to their claims were blocked by the fence in one direction and washouts the other two directions. Their website seems to have disappeared.
ANYONE been to the yellowjacket site since summer? Please post anything on this.. supposively there is work going on there now, we all should know if this is true or not.
Thanks BAB.. Lets hope that the mine work starts and continues after all that has been or supposively been done to get the project going..the pr's of hiring specialists and doing testing on the site.. working the claim would be the only way to exhonorate any possible misleading pr's of previous months. I have seen a few good words, recently, that things may be in motion at the site.. If anyone can verify this please do. There is another company doing some mining in the arizona region, kachina gold, and they appear to be ramping up operations.. and what a time with the gold prices climbing.. i hope to god that the yellow jacket operation takes off and produces for everyone..g
Interesting, Through the grapevine of mineral exploration it has come to my attention that subpoenas have been issued by the SEC on several members and ex-members of Galaxy Minerals. We just don't know what they are for but the SEC doesn't randomly do such a thing to corps unless there is an ongoing and open investigation into something they consider illegal.
Yes, But GAXY is not one of the companies being investigated? That is a good thing
Anything New on Gaxy? I did see a pr of a few month back where they were out on the arizona site grading the roads and installing fencing and setting up a pilot plant all in preperation for some operations towards the end of this year 2005. Shareholder here and new member to investorhub. Hows it looking besides the lack of trading at the moment??
This could be the kiss of death.

Good luck.
I cannot seem to find any information about this company on the internet.
Interesting trading ??. Two out three days with no trades then one 5000 trade to move up then a 100,000+ in trade to move above and then 10,800 in trade and 30,000 in trade of .025 to hold and now 10,000 in trade to move to .028. That moved the market cap from about 8.5 mil to almost 13.5 mil. Hmmmmm
I also heard over the weekend from an engineer out of Tucson that a USFWS NEPA study may be required before the Yellow Jacket Project can move forward. This could take up to 18 months to 2 years to complete. Of special interest are two listed endangered or threatened species of bats that may be living in the old mine workings.

Must be quite a tiff going for that to happen.
I heard from a friend that Galaxy, through their engineering firm have just recently began the permitting process for the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix project. It will be interesting to see how long the applications take to go through the state and fed processes.
Can you tell me who IRFI is,please ?
Wednesday August 3, 8:00 am ET
LAKE VILLA, Ill. and SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Ariz., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Galaxy Minerals (OTC Bulletin Board: GAXY - News) today announced the progress being made on the Yellow Jacket & Phoenix Mine project in the Oro Blanco Mining District, Santa Cruz County, Arizona.
Matt Symonds, Interim President and CEO of Galaxy Minerals Inc. explains the progress being made:
"Recently we have had relatively dry weather in the area. This allowed a survey team to come out and obtain the exact boundary lines on the two properties. We have purchased fencing to surround the areas in the properties where we will be working. We have also purchased a high security gate and solar powered automatic gate opener, which we believe will make access to the protected areas more secure."
Mr. Symonds said that "we had been informed that the fencing on both properties is being installed now. We are also investigating the building of a structure on the properties in which we intend to have offices, store certain equipment, and house a generator. We recently contacted a well drilling company with the expectation of hiring them to drill a well on one of the properties, and we are currently in negotiations with them."
Mr. Symonds also stated that "Galaxy Minerals recently sent samples of gold bearing ore from the properties to a lab to test the efficiency of our proposed pilot plant. We may conduct additional exploration and development activities from time to time around the properties given the 'Inferred Mineral Resource' status of the project (An 'Inferred Mineral Resource' is that part of a Mineral Resource for which tonnage, grade and mineral content can be estimated with a low level of confidence. It is inferred from geological evidence and assumed but not verified geological and/or grade continuity. It is based on information gathered through appropriate techniques from locations such as outcrops, trenches, pits, workings and drill holes which may be limited or of uncertain quality and reliability.). We have been presented with a cost estimate from a supplier of the pilot plant equipment needed to process the ore from our properties. This cost estimate includes plant equipment, plant circuit design, and the use of the supplier's engineering staff. We intend to have the plant equipment and engineers from our supplier onsite at the properties by the end of September 2005."
Mr. Symonds continued: "If everything we have investigated to this point goes according to schedule, we believe, but can not assure, that the properties will be in pilot production by the end of 2005. The previous revenue estimate for the properties stated in our March 2005 press release will not be realized by the end of this year. Although based upon our testing and estimates we believe the projects will be profitable and attain revenue, we cannot assure that the projects will ever attain revenues or be profitable."
As for the Company's Cullebrillas project in Peru, Mr. Symonds stated that the Company believes that the status of the Cullebrillas has remained materially unchanged from that set forth in our 2004 form 10KSB.

Look to South Africa for the answers to this promotion.
The Management of IRFI is preparing legal action regarding the Yellowjacket property. The shareholders of IRFI were taken for a "walk" and got led to Africa by Mr. Crooked Lane.
This info gives you a good look into the hype they were running before becomming Galaxy. It appears that Goldstein owns Stealth Enterprises and Gemrush. The hype on the cached Yellow Jacket page illustrates the misleading info that was being pushed in 1999 and 2000. This bunch appears to have been working on the Yellow Jacket for several years and using different approaches in their quest for investors. The home page for the Yellow Jacket also shows how they were either deliberatly making misleading statements at that time or were extremely ignorant about mineral patents, the mineralization on the property in generaland the accessability to potable water. Promotion-promotion-promotion.
On the Sold page it is obvious that Goldstein and crew made the trade through his corps and possibly other channels to Galaxy and was quoting bogus proven reserves. The property title lists the owners.
Everything stinks here the deeper I dig.
Try out this for major B.S. "The La-Paz Vein is the same vein that runs all the way to California and was discovered during the Gold Rush Days of 1849. It also extends south into Sonora, Mexico which is the source of some of the richest mines in the world." Wow!!!!

Possibly, but they made no effort to remove the lies they had on their website regarding the Culebrillas project in Peru, despite having had them brought to their attention.
I really don't think they care. If I was an investor in any of the companies that had lent money to Galaxy though I would be extremely angry, seeing that they too can have done no serious Due diligence before making loans. Perhaps thought these companies too are controlled by Galaxy's backers?? I can find no meaningful information on GCA fund. Maybe it is time to start digging into that outfit also?
It is prety extraordinary that outfits like Galaxy can get away with making the claims they do.
I think they are probably taking off the site all the projects they claimed to have rights to but don't in reality.

Interesting that the web site is down. ????
Still no press releases on progress to at least attempt to come close to the proposesd Q2 05 production from the Yellow Jacket.
I would at least expect an explanation if I got into the stock with the understanding that Galaxy was going into production in Q2.
If there is a right way, a neutral way and a wrong way to do something it appears that Galaxy has an innate ability to do it the wrong way.
This would certainly fit the pattern of activities one has come to expect from Goldstein and his board of funeral home operatives and keep fit instructors.
It might well be that the SEC are already on their tail, which is why the agressive comments they posted on this message board have ceased. The share price is not looking too healthy either.
That funeral home experience will come in useful as they bury themselves soon!
I do hope they are still reading this though.
I would love to know who controls GCA Strategic Investment Fund Ltd., and Global Capital Advisors LLC....
Thanks for pointing that 15% out. I missed that.
If Goldstein has been involved with stock price manipulation the corp. is probably a bust. To many Galaxy insiders would need to be involved or knowledgable of it for the corp to stay clean. I hope this is not the case and cannot imagine anyone being stupid enough to think they could get away with circular trading in this day and age, much less be able to find a securities dealer foolish enough to become involved.
If you look at the disclosure of beneficial owners on the Galaxy website you will see that Goldstein has an interest of 15%.(look in the second column) Thus he is a "5% owner" in that he controls more than 5%.
I do hope the SEC follow up on the investigation. Perhaps Goldstein might find himself spending less time in Crooked Lane, and more time with Crooks!
It's a pity I don't own any stock in the company; it would be entertaining to attend their AGM. Maybe next year, although somehow I don't think they will be around still.
A buddy told me Goldstein used his S-8 shares to create volume in the stock by doing circular trades between tame brokers. This was all in the run-up to getting a financing done. That would explain the sudden drop off in volumes. I guess the brokers get to keep a slice of the stock every time the circulate it round. This thing is a classic Pump & Dump scam. I sent a letter to the SEC to get it investigated.
Yes, it is very odd that Galaxy has chosen to keep quiet about it's activities and uses of the money they claim to have initially drawn. With the share price in the basement a few competent press releases could only help them.
As far as Goldstein or any others owning more than the SEC disclosure shows. It is up to the share holders to demand accounting and if wrongdoing is suspected to report the potential problem to the SEC.
If you have info showing ownership above what has been disclosed you should post it so shareholders will know it is true and not rumor or inuendo.
I think Goldstein of Crooked lane owns rather more than 5% of the stock, as the disclosure info shows on their website.
One reason they might be desperate is bcause the share price has collapsed.
Also does it not strike you as odd that a company on its arse would not trumpet the fact that they are actually doing something on the ground , after all the insubstantial puffs they have been putting out? Why the sudden reservation from a bunch who seem to know nothing about mining, and have been trying to pump their stock since the companies appearance?
I know they lied through their teeth about what they purported to have done in Peru on the Culebrillas project,("people on the ground, etc") so I find it hard to give them credibilty for anything. I still find it incredible that any ligitimate financial institution would have lent them a cent.
I wish I could post this on the Raging Bull website , but I could not register when I tried.
I don't see why he might be desperate unless he is worried about only owning a 5% interest. An initial draw of $1.85 mil sould be enough to get Galaxy into minor production at the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix project.
I am talking about 80-100 tpd production and I am sure after seeing what I did, that initial production ore should be in the neighborhood of .50-.60 opt/au. I took several samples off the Lixus controled mine dumps that came back with asssys showing values of over .36 opt/au and 1.5 opt/ag. This gives a good indication of what was considered waste rock and what mine run cut off grades in the past, blended .4 opt/au to 1.25 opt/au. Remember this is a start up grade and will drop over time to .25 opt/au or a bit less but production should increase. At about .5 opt/au that would be 40 to 50 ounces per day (12 hr shifts) contained in the ore. With a recoveery of 75-80% they might be looking at 35-40 ounces per day. Galaxy would at a minimum then be looking at $14,000 per day gross @ $400 per ounce. Figure labor, fuel, explosives, maintainence, equipment and refining at $3500 per shift and Galaxy could be netting $10,500 per day or more, or $315,000+ per month not counting administative costs. I am also not counting the silver credits.
We must figue that there is some contention between Galaxy and Lixus Gold otherwise Galaxy would have acquired mining and milling rights to that corps. property, so now Galaxy most likely needs to transport the ore off of the local ground for processing. This will cost a bit more but is not prohibitive. Their only real problem could be waste rock, but if mined right much of that could be stockpiled for future processing when prices rise. These Galaxy people have it but I cannot understand their slow actions towards production.
In my extensive dealings with permitting in the state of Ariz., I have found that at most it takes 180-220 days for the proper permits. Now in all due respect we know that Parkinsons has had limited time on the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix Property. Thus they may be moving with caution. So, I expect to see infrastructure development and movement within 180-220 days unless there are environmental problems with the local wildlife. Being on patented claims will help but not nulify the environmental problems if this is the case. Obviously the Corp now has the ability to pay for mitigation. All in all I would be very surprised if Galaxy is not in production by Qtr 1 2006.
Is this great mind boggling production? No, it is nice. However, it will bring income and let investors know that this is not a fly by night. From here they could go on to larger production on this and other projects.
We shall see!
I guess Goldstein must be getting pretty desperate by now!!

Interesting news from S. Ariz.
I recieved a call last night from a contact I made in the town of Arivaca when I visited there. It appears that there has been a team of surveyors(?) or work crew observed working in the area of the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix property.
The contact didn't know for sure if this work party was from Galaxy but felt that it was.
Below is extract from Galaxy form SB2.
Galaxy's "partner" , the convicted fraudster Iparaguirre, seems to be proving more trouble than he is worth to Galaxy!
A search of the court archives in Peru can easily establish that Galaxy have no title/mineral rights whatsoever at Culebrillas, not even a contentious one! Galaxy also posted false statements on their website that they had "people on site at Culebrillas".
I wonder if anything they say about any of their claims is transparent? Goldstein of Crooked Lane, Illinois might be the only one who knows!!

The ownership rights to the Culebrillas Gold Mine are the subject of a dispute between one or more parties, which may affect our mineral rights at that property.
We have recently become aware that there is a dispute between two or more parties regarding the current ownership of the Culebrillas Gold Mine in Peru. We have an agreement for the mineral rights to this mine with a party that represented they were the owner of the Culebrillas Mine. Pending the results of this dispute we have ceased paying under our agreement. The dispute may affect our rights under the agreement and we may lose all our mineral rights to this mine.

My mistake Cooter. I thought that you meant that your father was involved in mineral exploration and had been hired by Galaxy. My belated condolences on his passing.
As for the other issues here, you continue to illustrate your ignorance in your mindless protection (what you see as protection) and attacks on me with your scattergun tirade of accusations.
I stated that the strong mineralized zone may stretch for Several miles including going through the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix property. I guess this is bad for Galaxy, Hmmmm.
I stated that I saw visible gold in rock off the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix property but on trend with it. Hmmmm, I guess this is bad for Galaxy too.
I stated that I didn't go onto the Yellow jacket/Phoenix property except on the designated roads.
I also stated that if I had stepped onto the property that some Galaxy yahoo would probably accuse me of trespass or worse. You have proven me correct in my suspicions and you have exhibited a willingness to make the accusation even without me setting foot on the Galaxy property. Man you are excitable and getting way out there in your allegations.
What is your fear of someone with exploration knowledge looking over the project area. What? you don't want anyone to know if there is or isn't good potential at the site? (keep-em in the dark like mushrooms and feed them ??)
I stated that all the roads in the area are rough and the roughest was the one to the SW end of the Lixus property. I am sure this statement is damaging to Galaxy as Galaxy has no property up that road.(LOL)
While I am at it you should be very careful of allegations of trespass as the USFS designated roads fall under RS2477 federal regulations. These roads cross this property and cannot be closed without an act of congress.
As for stealing gold you are making me LMAO, as how does one go about stealing less than a 1/4 ounce of gold out of a ton of hard rock. Galaxy's own reports give an average of .25 opt/Au. Don't you think that any gold worth hand mining has already been removed by the "old timers"? A ton is approx.a 2'X 2'X 3'solid block of rock. I would need a large processing mill and even then the mineralization may not be in a recoverable form without using a cyanide leach system. Check the Galaxy reports on their leach test results. I am sure that it is worth my time to make the run from N. Calif to that property to pick up rock and haul it back to process.
As for prospecting, why would I prospect on patented mining claims? What? Am I going to spend one day prospecting someone elses private land? Lord help us from the ignorant and self deceived.
As for you saying that I don't want anyone else to take a look at the project, you are flat out lying. I clearly stated in a prior post that I would be happy to post directions to the Galaxy property and challenged anyone who didn't believe what I posted to go have a look-see for themselves.
Now I challenge you to go have a look since you choose to blather on and make false accusations.
You who wanted me to meet you in the desert for whatever real reason (I am sure it was not to discuss or review information about Galaxy or their properties), it is time for you to put your money where your mouth is and into fuel for your vehicle and instead of spouting off about something you know nothing about, go educate yourself for a day or two. It appears that you cannot handle the truth and probably wouldn't know a mine shaft until you fell off the edge. If you don't like my style of writing the truth why not show some courage and visit the site and then write about your observations and thoughts.
I urge all in this forum who have the means or interest to go take a look. If nothing else you will see some pretty scenery and get a feel for the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix project. You cannot be kept out of this area.
I would even urge Galaxy to have a field trip to the property with a geologist in attendance to discuss and answer any questions the share holders may have about drill results, equipment on site, depths and widths of mineralization, lenght of the mineral zone, environmental issues, the old mine and methods used and currently proposed to extract the minerals, time frames, you name it.
To get to the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix area take I-19 south from Tucson heading towards Nogales. There is a retirement community that you will go through called Green Valley. Go 10-12 miles past Green Valley and take the Arivaca/Amado turn off. There is a resurant there with big steer horns on it. (you will know what I mean when you see it). Go west on the Road that is across from it about 20 miles to the town of Arivaca. At the west end of the main drag the road forks. Take the left fork. You will arrive at another fork and you need to take the left fork there as well. Go 3-4 miles until you see a road sign on the right that says Yellow Jacket on it. Take that road to the west. Stay on the main dirt road. You will go through three or four gates and will know you have arrived at the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix property by all the excavations and old junk cars and buildings. I suggest a fairly high profile 4X4 vehicle. A two wheel PU will make it to the Yellow Jacket/Phoenix but not any further. You may wish to request permission if you plan on entering private ground although it was not marked or posted at the time I was there.
Have fun!!!
what do you mean "other work ?" not that is any of your business, but my dad has been deceased for 16 yrs. i think i have finally got your number. you are trying to keep people away from this stock for several reasons. you have said in the past all this mumbo-jumbo about where these gold vains lie and that gaxy was lying or was in error, then you say you went there and the roads were so terrible and so on and so forth. YOU dont want anyone there because you are trying to get your merit badge from lixus gold corp. or the junior GPAA.i suspect you have been tresspassing on this land and prospecting/stealing gold. there must be something -VERY,VERY valuable there for you to go to all this trouble.your little charade is so obvious.you think you are slick but you arent. maybe you fell down a mine shaft and landed on your head!i guess you managed to traverse these "horrible roads" by slithering on your belly.
Cooter, has your father done any other work for Galaxy or any of the corps principals prior to this recent contract, on any of the properties Galaxy has held or currently holds?
he did hire the best...he hired my FATHER. you certainly are an excitable young man. repeat after me.. goos-fa-ba.
Hey Cooter, Did you review what you wrote before posting it?
Since when was history rewritten so that the Disney dynasty was founded on Disneyland rides?
Read some history please. W. Disney's Corporations were founded by Walt Disney and their foundations were based upon his managment, cartoon caracters and film/music making abilities. Look at this for a start.
http://www.islandnet.com/~kpolsson/disnehis/
You are absolutly right Walt Disney certainly didn't have to know how to use a wrench on the rides as the rides didn't exist as part of his business for most of his career.
He did know the nuts and bolts of his cartoon and movie making business however, and he was the prime decision maker, mover and shaker, in making the early productions and later guiding his corps to success. He hired people who also knew the ins and outs of the industry and when he could he had the best!
Now you want to try again to convince me that the Galaxy board and CEO are fully qualified and don't need to know the ins and outs of mineral exploration? Hmmmmmmmmm.
dear highly disturbed,,,,,,i have it on good authority that mr. w.disney never turned a wrench on ANY of the rides at DISNEYLAND! ALL he had was ideas! how appalling.!
Thanks for the post.
One Billion Shares, Wow! Volume has dropped from 630,000 per day to 50-60,000 shares per day. Small wonder. Is there anyone at the helm of Galaxy who understands how to hold value for share holders? It appears not and if not what are they offering?
"Recent Financing"
You need to read this. It appears that this is set up as a make or break deal. With this deal it is very unlikely that any other financial organizations will be willing to become involved with Galaxy unless Galaxy is able to pull a rabbit out of it's hat and prove at least one of it's inferred mineral deposits as well as go into production.
To me this has the earmarks of desperation.
"Under the terms of the Agreement and the Notes, the Company only receives 85% of the requested amount in cash. Therefore, on May 9, 2005, the Company received $1,870,000 from GCA Fund in exchange for the Note totaling $2,200,000.
The Notes are due five years from their date of issuance. If the Company does not timely pay the Notes in accordance with their terms the Notes begin to accrue interest at a rate of twelve percent (12%) per annum"
"GCA Fund also has the option, at any time, to convert the amounts due under the Notes into shares of the Company’s common stock."
This is of interest. How much influence is this Goldstein person and his organizations excercising over Galaxy's decisions? Ownership is only 5% but shares he controls are 15%.
(3)Mr. Goldstein’s common stock holdings are comprised of 6,794,825 shares owned by him and a total of 65,365,637 shares owned by affiliates as follows: Amulet Holdings Limited (36,593,537 shares), Seahorse International Investments Ltd. (28,472,100 shares), and Stealth Enterprises, Inc. (300,000 shares). Mr. Goldstein controls all of these entities.

This continues to be highly disturbing to me.
Where is the exploration and mining expertise. These are supposed to be the decision makers and leaders. Without mineral exploration or mining experience how can these board members make competent decisions?

Your message makes fascinating reading!
When my lawyer spoke to Goldstein, (a Galaxy beneficiary) and challenged him about Galaxy's claim that they "have people on site at Culebrillas" he said that "having people on site" had "different" meanings. Obviously one of of those meanings is "not having anyone on site at all" !!
What is most extraordinary, is that somehow they seem to have gotten some money from somewhere. Galaxy's agenda is pretty clear to me; less so those of financial institutions who invest in companies in which minimal due diligence would reveal they are not worth the price of a lunch! There is more to this than meets the eye. I'll be digging a litle deeper.
