GVI Security Solutions Announces $7 Million in Loss Prevention Systems Agreements; Company to Provide Customized Inventory Loss Prevention Installations to Major Big Box Retailer and Key Regional Wholesaler
CARROLLTON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2006--GVI Security Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: GVIS), a provider of integrated security solutions incorporating access control, detection and surveillance systems, today announced that it has entered into two agreements to provide inventory loss prevention systems. The first agreement, with a major U.S. big box retailer, is expected to generate revenues of $5 million. The second agreement, with a regional wholesaler, is expected to generate revenues of $2 million.
GVI will provide its top line customized Security Surveillance Systems to these vendors. The Security Surveillance Systems feature all of the components necessary to supply a complete security solution, including, cameras, lenses, recording devices, digital video recorders and multiplexers that allow multiple signals to be transmitted simultaneously across a single channel.
"Employee theft costs American citizens more money each year in terms of higher prices and reduced supply than any other type of larceny," said Howard Safir, chairman of GVI. "Our customers require top line, seamless capabilities for their monitoring systems. By utilizing our surveillance solutions, we believe they will significantly increase recognition and detection of criminal theft, and drastically reduce their costs."
According to a recent survey, in 2003 U.S. retailers lost $33.6 billion of inventory due primarily to employee theft, shoplifting and vendor fraud, and the average retailer budgeted 0.51 percent of its prior year's revenues for security and loss prevention measures.
"With inventory loss a primary concern, we expect continued interest in our security solutions from retailers," said Nazzareno Paciotti, chief executive officer. "While our clients use these GVI solutions primarily for inventory loss prevention, our systems offer advanced protection when used correctly for additional security measures, such as parking lot surveillance, entrance and exit control and documentation.
"Additionally, we are experiencing increased interest in our Security Surveillance Systems from both government and corporate clients. Systems installed five to seven years ago to comply with Y2K concerns are approaching the end of their natural life span, and clients are seeking immediate upgrades in visitor management, card access, detection and surveillance products, such as our 'intelligent' CCTV system," he added.
Other GVI Products and Activities
GVI has extensive experience in commercial, industrial, government, military and security installations. Its Enterprise Solutions Group provides a full range of top line solutions and professional products to its customers, including, assessment, design, project management and installation.
During the past two years, GVI has secured key contracts for its surveillance security solutions for high threat, high profile installations such as the Port of Miami, Port of Tampa, New York City Transit Authority, JFK Airport, Tinker Air Force Base, Federal Express, CitiGroup and many other corporate and government customers.
In August 2005, GVI introduced the Mass Transit Intelligent Video System (MTIVS) to the rapidly growing homeland security market. Named a top new product by Security Products Magazine, MTIVS is a state-of-the-art "intelligent" video threat detection system that continuously monitors and evaluates images from multiple cameras, and instantly alerts a command center to threat detection.
In addition, the Company recently completed the installation of the Rapor FastTrac(TM) Portal, a product it launched in 2005, at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration headquarters in the Washington, DC area.
Definitely worth researching, won't be doing too much more tonight.
I've started to share the IFC/CEOTA/Orinoco possibility. Was booted from Paltalk by beaches, I told her I didn't trust her anylonger and wouldn't speak with her anymore. She said, "So you're saying the bonds aren't legit?" lol I think we know what that means.
I feel the time is very close, and I truly would not mind foiling a bit of the trap just so that our economy doesn't take a multi-billion dollar blow--although much is offshore I believe.
Gotta crash soon, have a good one.
A thought: perhaps AISS intention was never meant to be military, but humanitarian. Fits with today's actions too.
NEWS:
While researching this stock I came upon this article. I don't think anyone had posted it yet. Company looks good, 60+ employees, new contracts. Should be a winner. The article can be found at securityinfowatch.com

Interesting info-Emp. no longer there selling off
more than his authorized amount.
Last 13D filed stated that Teitlebaum, who apparently is no longer employed at GVIS, had share amount of 2.8M; however last 2 months has sold over 4.3M shares, thereby shorting the stock.
This IMHO, and including other shorts and naked shorts, is what has driven the pps down to below value pps over the last few months. So illadvised. They will be pinched shortly as new PR's come out on contracts pending with US govt. and others. Excellent entry point at these pps levels.

Looks like we could get a bounce off that lower bolli here.
Lets hope she bounces like a super ball and goes to da MOON!! lol

Laptop, Exactly my thoughts. I also have a feeling BEST (ex-insider) is sitting on the ask with his final shares. BEST is at 0.044. I think he will be taken out tomorrow. I am expecting a PR blitz from the company as they have many good things to report. Like you said, buying here is a great call IMO. Hardly any downside as I see it.
I can't figure out who'd be selling a stock that's less than a penny from it's all time low, just rid themselves of a lousy distributor, made a new deal with the largest distributor in the world, has no more insider selling overhang, has insiders buying, a low float and AS.
Must be somebody who likes to buy high and sell low I guess. LOL
This is accumulation time right now. Those who bought in too soon and too high are being flushed out. Those who are buying now will be rewarded imo.
This is stupid..
Everytime this rallies someone knocks it back down..
Some good news from the company will take care of that..
.042 x .043 ... who is selling?
Found this on Monday...looking to buy in. Anything exciting? TIA
GVIS - I agree. Good times ahead
MM's walking the pps down. Retail traders taking their
20% and running. Unfortantely, at a 35% short term tax rate, they netted a negative (15%) return.
UBSS so transparent.
A company with only 50M O/S, 75M A/S and such a low float, with srong contracts and more pending.
Still strong on this stock and will add more.
Best Regards
Not a buy or sell recommendation.
BEST just chickened out and raised their ask.
OH! There they are again. LOL
I think they don't know what the hell they want to do. hehehe
Ya' think they see the freight train coming towards em?
Oh for sure. He's either out or changed his mind and is holding what he has left. He's had all the chances he needed to exit if that was his choice.
There's no more overhang of any kind as far as I can tell.
One good PR and we'll blow UBSS's little rowboat out of the water.
Laptop, Yeah..The insider guy had plenty of chances to get out yesterday and day before. You may be right about UBSS game play
I think BEST's ask is a phoney. Watch it disappear as soon as UBBS is gone. It's part of the game to make it look like a wall.
It's all ubBS! LOL
GVIS I agree.. What is BEST doing there still ?? UBSS can be playful when BEST is on the ask knowing we have a wall to cross. I hope something good is cooking and management will feast us soon
UBSS is trying to bore us to death I think. They're on the bid and the ask at 1/10 of a penny spread. LMAO
Do you suppose they're making any money with that little game? ROTFLMAO
don't understand why people would be selling at these levels.
If they can just show a little patience then they can sell in the teens, in a few weeks?
lol
Good luck here folks....
I'll do some chart work on this later today.
Cheers!
fringe
GVIS - Gotta love the strength yesterday. This is more than a 2 bagger it seems..
Right on Laptop & IHDR..8-k filed last night certainly brings in relief for PPS as stock issuance to retail partner cancelled and legal issues resolved. Thanks.
Just read it myself Strongus and I agree.
2.25 million shares not going out now and a legal headache/distraction is out of the way once and for all.
Moving ahead.
More Good news for GVIS!!!
Read the 8-k filed today..Saw that one..I think good news coz all stock issuance to that party is cancelled as a result of this..One main overhang on the stock is gone now!!!
Solid day. Strong and current bid at close pps.
Check Early Bird Special board "bob41/#190632 for info on
GVIS. Looks good.
Best Regards

Potential large contracts pending in homeland security.

Not a buy or sell recommendation.
Glad you came on board with us (Finally..I got this one dead on and I want 15 cents..
Lets do it again tomorrow....lol
MSEED, my friend..I want to see 15 cents..I am sure your 200k buy is doing a you a world of good there
How's that for a strong close!!!
Love to see a stock we've talked about over the last week do what we think its was going to. Without the last bs low bid @ .052, would have close at high of day @.057+
IMHO, this stock is also heavily shorted and to see .10+ would not be overstating it.
Best Regards
Not a buy or sell recommendation
That's what we like to see....
Money....Money....Money....lol
GVIS..Holding strong..Expecting a strong close..
Movin right along....
