Thanks, $39.70 would about do it for my profits. Interesting to meet a chartist. Unlike with Penny Stocks, charts really do work for real companies, I have no doubt. When penny pumpers "claim" that charts work what they are seeing I believe is manipulation by those affiliates who try to make charts look like they work for the purpose of attracting more buyers. Then the dump comes on and the chart is rendered useless. I would like to get your opinion on this. I would sure like to see more discussion here on Ihub about real companies. It seems like this whole board is dominated by penny stock traders. Happy New Year.
options on the hourly chart there is a flag forming that would indicte the move to $39.70. Chart wise I don't see much else of value.
I have another one for you to check out, the ticker is MIR. Energy company should run to the $45+ range within weeks. Let me know what you think. Take care.
I see, well that is the way it is. That is what is so nice about Options, you have some time to decide whether to stay in or not. What about this board? Is there any way we can wake it up? Maybe change the name or something? I can think of a great name instead. What is your history here?
Options that's true but AHR was on a path to deliver in the next week. Now I'll be forced to wait for a while.
It is a bad day, but you can still look at charts and plan for January. I think January is going to be huge. We just have to get through this assasination and the tax selling and get on with next year.
Today is a bad day for checing out any financial. The assasination brought the shorts back. And a large (800K) position sold out in the premarket. It is now making a rumbling return though.
Thanks, I will check it out.
Options if you like trading the swings you might check out AHR. They are currently on an upswing with the shorts clearing. It's a financial stock that is caught up in the finacial crayzies. They create commercial paper not residential. They are backed by Black Rock and they are currently paying 14.1% in dividends. I think the current rise might be good for about $10.50. So there is money to be made yet. I have been using the stock as an ATM for minths but it may be over as the shorts pull out a 1/4 million shares after hours for the last three nights.
LDK Rocking the House! I know of another solar stock that ran from the $70 range to the $250 range, unreal. LDK is clearly on the move.
Interesting, checking it out now. Nice to meet someone intelligent on this message board. I was starting to wonder if anyone talks about anything other than penny stocks. Penny stocks are a Joke! And yes I trade the swings. What about you? Happy Holidays.
Options are you playing the swings? It is a great stock for that. If you looking for a winner, you might look at SPWR.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=1y&s=LDK&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=SPWR
I just got in LDK Solar Company (NYSE: LDK). The chart looks fantastic, I love them when they pull back not as low and then start to regroup. Take a look at the chart and let me know what you think. Happy Holidays, let's wake up this board!
This looks like a great board, why has no one posted lately?
Nah...Karl Rove didn't do anything wrong - just google Robert Novak and do DD.
Now Sandy, he stole all of those classified documents from the Library of Congress and stuffed them in his socks and underwear (not a pretty sight!). In the Globetel version, the privately owed information was stolen from the company & published on the web! I don't want to know if Joe M (WELLS NOTICE) stuck the emails anywhere on his person. That is more information that I want! LOL!
Nah... Karl Rove would be better suited for the role of Sands or Monterosso(Wells Notice). What better than a professional liar to play the roles.
Sandy Berger would do well
playing Joe M(WELLS NOTICE) in the Globetel movie!
M Sands by Bill Clinton?
How about those FABULOUS GREEN BAY PACKERS!!?!!
GO PACK GO!
joe was the stench....
and now you would have all shareholders follow his lead....
sorry, makes no sense to me.
.16? LOL.....I guess the msfts of the world have invested due to the atta boy cfid approval
And joe... now heres a grind.. .whos ax has a sharp truthfull edge.
Always attack your x with full wallet if its for posterity..
lol... not for nothing but I'd do what he did if I had the $$$ to fight it....
From where I sit Joe has every right and every reason to post
his complete corporate e-mails. He called to the table the likes of the scum, and has at least shed light into the fiscal fecal stench of lies which the retail paid for.
I prefer this company to go bk because of so many reasons. If Joe asks me to stand on his side,Im there. At least He shed a gleem into the stupity which is gte(m)
Casting for the Globetel movie?

sharklady00: Maybe J Monsterosso and his buddy M Sands realize the screenplay/movie/book potential of this GTEM story and are trying to enhance the drama element of it, and their roles in it, by continuing to instigate rumors with false documentation, etc.
Joe can't get a job other wise, and Sands is probably strapped for $. Hey, stranger things have happened!

So who do you think
will play JoeM(WELLS NOTICE) part? What about Cole, Jetmek and whatever happened to Risk It Us? Maybe I should take this to Franks free board! : )
Nerd I can't argue with that. They should do better then RAS and look how good they are doing since they came out with thier earnings yesterday. In thier conference call they said they see no problems maintaining the current dividend and with a yeild of close to 18% they can't see a better investment in thier own stock and will resume purchasing thier shares. They also claim new investments in the 4 quarter will also provide higher yields going forward. I think you will see the same kind of words from AHR. I'm holding for now.
followingte the shorts had better get out of the way of the earnigs of AHR they will be out in the morning of the 8th. That's likely what drove the stock today and my expectation is a great deal more. If they are betting on a big write down I think they will lose serious money.
Sure was a rocky start this morning. It looked like an attempt was made to bring the market down this morning. I mean the DOW down 105 points in the first five minutes. I think there are some that are trying to stampede the market.
Ras is taking off, Ahr should follow soon. Ras has mainly rental/mortgage, little commercial left.
Watching the residential paper holders go downdoes give one pause about any one holding any paper. But the revenue of AHR is from the rental/mortgage payments being made monthly so whether we know the situation or not, they know. They did not act like a company with foreclosures on their mind when they borrowed the money to buy more paper and retire some free trading stock. If you analyse the purchase price of the stock and the dividend yield at the current price, you find it is substancially higher than the interest rate of the borrowing. So given this position I think I'll wait for the filings.
I think we will know Monday morning. The company I use for comparison as a like kind of stock is RAS which will be coming out with its earnings Monday morning. The reason I consider it a like kind if stock, they like AHR is buying back their shares, they both pay a comparable dividend, both don't rely of residential customers. Since Aug. Ahr has been trading at about .50 a share more. At a point last week Ras was trading at $1.00 more. Friday I bought both for the exact same price but sold Ras at the end of the day. I sold Ras before earnings to take the sure thing, and kept Ahr because if Ras is in line with estimates it should go up along with AHR. If Ras is below estimates it could get hit hard and will give me a chance to unload AHR.
All IMO.
I do think both have bottomed, many experts believe the shorter's left residential mortgage stocks and moved into commercial stocks and could be very surprised in the coming months as they are many problems.
It's possible that AHR has bottomed. Whenever it does it is in for a wild ride up.
Good Trading day today. I think more day's like this will be coming.
As the naked shorts unwind OSTK just keeps on going up. How high will it go?

I guess none of the shorters foresaw the pop in tech, now they are facing Armagedon (I hope).
nerd, I am not in it myself, I think shares are hard to come by though. It seems there has been a good PR camaing going on since Sept. The nice thing about todats PR is that they are releasing after that event! There may be a few more to come before year end. Sort of wish I had sold something to get in around .80/.90 !!
villas I keep watching SOYO waiting for the volume. It is performing very well share price wise. High volume either way would seem to be able to drive the price all over.
Meanmikeca, lol this company is paying $3000 a quarter for rent expense. That's $1000 per month, that's even less then the cost of renting a decent boiler room.
Our expenses for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 consisted of, research and development fees of $24,800, legal and professional fees of $17,915, payroll expenses of $45,000, operating expenses of $5,664, rent expense of $3,000, depreciation expense of $6,301, amortization of loan costs of $1,758,159, interest expense of $89,922, and other expenses of $ 2,622. The increase in expenses of $1,171,654 for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to the expenses for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 is primarily due to decreases in non-cash options/warrants expenses, and legal and professional fees, combined with an approximate $1,500,000 increase in amortization of loan costs, which resulted from the default notice received from Cornell Capital Partners, LP.

40 million shares traded today. up 100%
once again aolt. 20 million float. short squeeze?
If your not on TASR your missing a good ride.
TASR looks to be a buy at this point. RSI is 15. There needs to be positive volume to confirm the move, but it will be worth the watching.
aotl
ck out the share structure:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=AOTL.OB
and the recent vol:
http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=aotl#getCharts
seems like unusually high volume for a float of 14 million shares.
any thoughts?
Dang the market is sure making my holding AHR for a profit painful. If it isn't TMA, it's CAT what a world. Oh well you do what you can then wait for the results.
OSTK looks like the short squeeze is begining. Here I am in the wrong stock (for the moment).
followingte today was definitely different for AHR. TMA has a heart attack and gives AHR a stroke. Well it gave me a chance to double up and as the day is coming to a close I am just slightly behind on the two days. The difference is I now am a shareholder of some significance, which is not my normal position. The soomer this gets back over ten the happier I'll be about it. In fact if it does that, I'll have the opportunity to take the rest of the year off. I probably wont.
I am going to jump on this tomorrow if the price is near where it is today. Funny RAS was upgraded to outperform today and is up while AHR is way down.
I would buy today but don't want to take a chance of having my account suspended for good faith violation which I was warned about in August. My trading has no fees and I don't want to lose that. While I typed this AHR shot up 23 cents.
Most of the decline was caused by TMC which is a mortage stock and not like AHR.

Wow what do you think of AHR this morning. Is someone been reading the board? They are shorting the stock like maniacs. Well I still have some ammunition left so when they quit I'll get in for more.
Found myself out of sync with AHR today so I had to buy more. When the sharks are feeding you just get out of the way, or join them.
Sorry following off doing other things. It was reported by ADVFN that 320,000 shares were traded on a form t. Amazing what the MMs can get away with isn't it? But it was only a three million dollar trade so it just slipped under the radar. It could have been the company repurchasing shares, that would also make sense.
320,000 shares or 3200 shares traded at 9.2991 after hours?

Nerd, I don't know if you read this, the market makers were not to trade the stock if shorts were not closed. The rules changed they now have 35 days. I don't think todays trading was because of any deadline. (IMO-the company made a late day repurchase of their shares)

What you need to know:
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has amended Regulation SHO to eliminate the “grandfather provision” effective October 15, 2007.
Who you should contact: NASDAQ Market Sales at 800.846.0477
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is changing?
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has amended Regulation SHO to eliminate the “grandfather provision” and will take effect on October 15, 2007.
SEC Regulation SHO sets out rules governing short sales, including the mandatory close-out requirement that applies to securities in which a substantial amount of fails to deliver have occurred (“threshold securities”). Clearing agency participants and broker-dealers for which they clear positions (“participants”) must take immediate action to close out a fail to deliver position in a Threshold Security that has lasted for 13 consecutive settlement days by purchasing securities of like kind and quantity (“close-out requirement”).
The amendment eliminates one of the exceptions to the Close-out Requirement for fails to deliver established prior to a security becoming a Threshold Security (“grandfather provision”). The amendment requires Participants to close out any previously-grandfathered fails to deliver in a security that is on the Threshold Security List on October 15th. The close-out must occur within 35 consecutive settlement days of October 15th. If a security becomes a Threshold Security after October 15th, all fails to deliver must be closed out within 13 consecutive settlement days.
What do I have to do on or after October 15th?
This amendment does not require NASDAQ to make any changes to its Threshold Security List. However, Participants should ensure that they close out previously-grandfathered fail to deliver positions within the time frames established by the amendment. Participants that do not close out these fail to deliver positions within 35 days will, by rule, be prohibited from accepting any short sale orders or effecting further short sales in these securities until the entire fail to deliver position is closed out.

After hours AHR had 320,000 shares trade ? as form t. at 9.2991. Looks like the Shorts are covering as best they can. I don't think that trick will work tomorrow. Fun and games with Dick and Jane. The numbers in the volume column were flakey all day long, then suddenly large numbers started to show up. I didn't jump out so we'll see tomorrow what is to be seen.
Nerd: You are right once again! Bought it after my email message and just sold it. Took the 20 cent profit. See what happens tomorrow. Looks like RAS could be the good buy tomorrow.
From my last post:
That would make AHR a decent buy right now, don't you think?
RAS +.45 $9.53 Spread: RAS + .23
AHR -.39 $9.30
After close:
RAS closed at $9.17 +.11 Spread: AHR +.34
AHR closed at $9.51 -.18
more Dang cheerleading on SOYO. As if a 100%plus move in the last month weren't enough.
