Soooooo, HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW!! I make these idiots sell anything to show their bravado, their manhood!!! LMFAOO. Imagine if you come someone to throw wands of dollar bills at you!!!! And I am not even a stripper!!! LMFAOO again and again. $5! $5!! $5!!!
Oh boy....$5 stock at $2.60!!!! My retirement account about to go up 20 percent. Loaded huge here
Thanks for the update! Time is the needed commodity.
I don't "trade" stocks, I invest in them. Fran is uninvestable, especially with most stores closed. Damaged retailers like FRAN almost never survive and they rarely have significant liquidation value.
Trade the stock, tons of value. The MMs are gambling with it. Get their cash
"temporarily closed substantially all of its stores"
"HOUSTON, March 20, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Francesca’s Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: FRAN) today announced that in response to the continued spread of COVID-19, it has temporarily closed substantially all of its stores effective March 20, 2020. The remainder of its stores will remain open, subject to monitoring of the rapidly developing situation, with limited hours of operation. The Company continues to serve its customers on www.francescas.com."

Are any Francesca's B/M stores still operating?
Even with shuttered stores, rent is payable on the leases. Insurance. Perhaps some utilities such as telephone bills. Heat. In cold weather. (you don't want water pipes to freeze) Do you disconnect your phone when you go on vacation? Most retailers are still paying some inactive employees, especially management. Paying healthcare. I could name a bazillion expenses that mothballed stores continue ringing up.
Common area fees continue to mount in malls. Guards and watchmen still needed. Maintenance. Lawn care. Empty or full, malls need repairs.
No doubt online sales are strong.... at sellers like Amazon or Walmart.com.
U.S. Ecommerce Sales Up 25% Due to COVID-19, E-Grocery Doubles
https://multichannelmerchant.com/ecommerce/u-s-ecommerce-sales-25-due-covid-19-e-grocery-doubles/
Apparel led all categories in share of U.S. online sales, Adobe said, at 23% share, followed by electronics (16%), home and garden (12%), computers (8%), groceries (8%), home improvement tools (5%), home appliances (4%), personal care products (4%), flowers and related gifts (3%) and office supplies (3%). Sporting goods, books, jewelry, furniture and bedding, pet supplies, toys and games were all at 2%.
Watch for the news to start pumping in this area as the days go on and this weekend especially, will see much more of this type of article in the coming four day weekend. What, did you think that deep pockets started loading retail again because a little mouse told them? Watch and learn kids getting ready to get a plethora of positive news as they crank the economy back up.
Quite the opposite of stores closed no sales don't ya think?

for holding an insane online sale today! I was able to buy some cute outfits for our engagement shoot next month while responsibly participating in social distancing in my apartment. Win-win!

And if you wanted to know whether my earlier post brought the stock down or not, click on my other posts. I have detractors that will trade their wives just to trade against me. So I use them......by placing posts STRATEGICALLY. That's the GAME
Sorry I brought the price down today with my post...that was by design. Now that I have ripped, we can take off. $5 is GUARANTEED
If things go smoothly in the US from here on out, FRAN MIGHT have a good holiday season, but Q2 is going to be a nightmare. Q3 could be the same. I'm guessing their online sales are up, but they have high rents to pay for their locations and a ton of inventory that is just going to sit. I do not envy the new CEO.
I actually goaded the demented sellers to bring it to $2. Got a few at $2.30 Friday, then more at $2.25, then series of buys early yesterday from $2.10 to $2.04. And then booooom!!! I cracked up huge and took it
This board appears dead...but FRAN is headed to $5. Bousome yesterday, traded some and hoping the rest head to $5
Here ya go. Note these shares are restricted stock units awarded by the company equity incentive plan. He bought nothing yet...

With the decline in price prior to the market taking a dive, seemed to me that last quarter was going to end up disappointing. I'd rather that not be the case, but the continued downward stock price indicated that to me. Now that the entire market has tanked, it's obviously going to slide more. Stellar earnings aren't going to make for a big pps spike. What a mess.
New CEO purchased 104,000 shares two days ago 2 weeks before ER,he must know something IMO that others don’t
FRAN last 4 years results for 4th quarter
2018 sales $119 Million dollars adjusted loss = 0.4 million dollars
2017 sales $138 Million dollars adjusted net income $7.1 million
2016 sales $147 Million dollars Net Income $14.6 Million Dollars
2015 sales $134 Million dollars Net Income $14.7 Million Dollars
Also of note going into 4th quarter each year inventory levels were as follows
2018 $41 Mill 2017 $39 Mill 2016 $42.7 mill 2015 $44 Mill
going into 2019 4th Qtr = $48 Million read the Dec 10th PR imo.. Big 4th Qtr report coming imo...
Can you imagine a $10 million dollar market cap Co that may do their entire market cap in NET INCOME ?? FRAN could do $10 mill net on sales of $135 million talk about parabolic...
FRAN $10 Million dollar market cap doing over $400 Million in Rev's & will be profitable. Insane price - sales % now UNLIKE most retailers that have a ton of debt killing them FRAN has $18 million & that came about for holiday season where they increased inventory levels by 20% to eliminate hot items out of stock conditions. Remember last CC was on Dec 10th & imo they were suggesting strong 4th Qtr sales with increase in inventory & reduced SG&A plus increase in margins. FRAN up against weakest 4th Qtr in years $119 million in sales prior 3 years was $138 Mil $147 Mil & $134 Mil all 3 very profitable... Last time FRAN was at $3 share price before profitable 2nd Qtr results in August which shot this microfloat from $3 to $21 even at $20 a share = $60 million dollar market cap CHEAP for retailer with little debt that probably will be back to ZERO debt upon this report. Share structure is 3 million shares outstanding & approx 650K Float after insiders & Institutional ownership LINK https://investors.francescas.com/node/5901
Short interest has been dropping down to 727,000 shares short on latest report but very high in relation to float. FRAN has been restructuring since last Jan and put into place a slew of improvements that led to profitable 2nd Qtr the 3rd Qtr had multiple 1 timers & write downs that we probably wont see in 4th Qtr. Also of note the balance sheet has NO goodwill or Intangible assets so net assets after debt = $19 a share = dirt cheap here... One last note keep in mind FRAN runs free standing boutiques small avg size 1300 sqaure feet not a mall based retailer. IMO & could be wrong FRAN reports Rev's closer to $130 million or better... then $120 mil & very profitable Qtr coming up on March 24th..

Nice, all the ones I keep up with the same, we got this.
Peace out.
I visited today in three large locations in WA state, Seattle, Redmond and Lynnwood ; they all had busy and good year end and Spring is rolling out!!
Regards,
Great to hear and looking forward to the next earnings report...which should include profit from inventories paid for by previous earnings proceeds!
They could sell the company for $100 million + without blinking an eye.
Went 20 mil in revolver credit debt to load for holiday sales, that is paid back for sure, maybe the other 10 mil.
Even if it isn't 700 stores nationwide brought back to profitability and SP says market cap is $20 mil?
Go try and buy similar for under 100-150 mil
Always pay attention to the market cap SP in tough markets mean zero in terms of reality.
Peace out.
Haha! We can dream, right?!
Waiting for that 40+ by April! LOL!
Thanks Watch30 , good to hear that type of news!
I’ve been in WA state, visiting on regular basis local stores, three of them and I’m getting similar impression, so hopefully other regions are experiencing same
Lots of new arrivals daily and jewelry is a find!! Will see what next ER brings us but should be good IMO

Nice, thanks Watch30
GL today!
So I’m in Atlantic City today , I walk past a Francesca’s. I go in start talking to the girl. Ask her how’s business?? She responds. Excellent we are beating our goals. I ask her to please explain. She says they have a same store daily goal to beat last years daily sales. She says they’ve beaten last February’s sales every day so far for the entire month. Hopefully other locations are faring as well.
New CEO excellent choice IMHO.
Got to catch some zzzz's
Peace out.
Hopefully some good news any day now.
Indeed Tdeck,

Now we are under $10, I'd rather see some $20's before moving up to next CC/ER to unload a few and keep a larger core.
Their stores are packed, I visited in five locations last week no complaints from managers, girls are shopping trust me!
It’s a coil effect, harder they nail it stronger will be squeeze , may come sooner many think
Build-up in inventory and CEO search are positive things, shorts show it as negative by fake articles and taking down s/p.
Happy Holidays!
Blew me away it dipped to what it did, but, never mind it is what it is, you cannot stop short sellers they stay right at about 30-35%. Nothing but solid from here forward, things haven't looked this good at FRAN in 3 years yet it is being shorted down to half what it was a year ago? Crazy.
The market is just to easy to make money if one is willing to be just a tad bit patient.
Peace out.
I'm closely watching for a reentry point. FRAN is beginning to look tempting again at this PPS.
It shows the extra $10 mil drawn on the revolving credit and yes a loss on the balance sheet +/- for the Q.
The EPS is never "just" about how much is taken in how much is sold, would never have those ridiculous losses that come out in companies Q's etc. like last year when FRAN was "losing" 20+ mil a Q they weren't but showed that.
How about "write downs" those too show EPS +/- but really have zero to do with it. I would love if EPS was just about EPS.
But, over they years accountants have muddied up to the point it stays muddy and things they "made up" before to save Taxes/show wins when their weren't etc make Q's about as far from what EPS was as they can be.
You spent this much you made this much you are plus/minus this much for the Q. I usually only play retail every 10 years so that point did slip my mind that companies would show worse Q's than usual because of all the spending gearing up for holiday sales, cash on hand would be off and EPS would be off.
Peace out.
But I do not see how adding inventory would affect profit/loss. Wouldn’t it just be a balance sheet issue?
I am no accountant

Loaded here. You guys will never know why this dropped from.$12.50 to $10. I do. And it's one hell of a buying opportunity. Loaded. Clueless idiots brought it down in trade against me. But I just started loading, I only had a negligible amount knowing that it would be pushed down for me.
One more note about inventory. They said in the CC that the inventory increase was due to Thanksgiving and Christmas being a week closer together so they had to get an early start on the holidays. That's understandable.
Also, toward the end of the CC, they mentioned the Chinese New Year. It's starts on Jan. 25th which is a week and half earlier than last year, and it sounds like they are expecting their shipment before the end of q4. I'm wondering how much this will affect q4 seeing how q3 was affected. Maybe we will still have a decent but not incredible q4 followed by a pretty good q1 as well.
I'm not really sure as I'm not an expert at this stuff. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts, but it's become more concerning to me after seeing the q3 ER.
