Quiet day. I would love to know what the results of the financial remedies are.
You are correct the chart has never waivered in its presentation that this guy should run. The problem has to do with the insider buying there is pressure on this stock to move but they are staying ahead of the ask to fill all those insider sales that where posted at the begining of last week. If I could do it again I would have gotten everything out at .16 instead of some and rebought at the new low we dealt with over the last few days. But the chart would have never told me to do that so I would have had to gamble to pull that off which I usually don't do.
Nice. I got in a .12 a few weeks back and stayed after the drop because I thought the chart continued to look good. The volume is what worries me as well right now, but it usually picks up after lunch.
You win some you lose some but I had to get all out on this the volume made it hard to enter and exit for me. I did pop it the first round a couple of weeks ago. I walked away with about 15% gain not complaining.
Ask was hit in the AM, now let's see if we can get some volume and start this baby moving up.
Great close. Up 50% on the day! Chart is looking like a great pinch now, let's see how far we can take this up! Congrats to all who got in below .10
Short squeeze here is nice. .14s are up now! FTRS could close up 100% at this rate!
Bad timing TD. .11s getting hit on the ask and the PPO and ADX are rolling off the pinch and other indicators are showing its ready for a run.
I'm out of FTRS got bored with it made a couple of buck early but this is a dead terd right now will look back in a week after thay get done stealing shares off the market to fill their pockets. I do see a run again ust not now. I'm out of post for the day so if you hit me up I will get with you Friday
.09 getting filled as we speak low volume but good movement so far on this stock. 70,000 shares to go and the order will be filled and we are off Weeeeeeeee
I have noticed that we have a pattern of hitting the bid in the AM and then the last hour or two of trading we get a run on the ask. The volume just hasn't been enough to get us out of the rut we are in now. Nice to see HDSN moving up the ask too.
Ask sitting at .095 they are trying to fill those shares sold and nobody is dumping sucks for them. They will continue to hold the bid low as long as they can but a little bit of presure comes in on them and this stock will pop back out of its rut
FTRS, nice article talking about what they do:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/09/17/stripper.wells/index.html
Nice close, volume still pitiful though. I hope TDs short squeeze bears fruity tomorrow. HDSN has sold a lot of shares on the ask over the last week. Be nice to move them back. NITE moved back to .11 on the close.
That would be nice. I could use some green this week
FTRS Chart
The Bollies are tightening, the Wm%R is crossed over -80,the RSI(14) just crossed over 30. The SlowSto and OBV still need to pick up though.
I emailed the company to ask if the results of the credit facility deadline were publically available, or when they were going to be if not.
Lets get ready for the ride if they can't fill those share paying more for them is the only way to fill the positions.
This guy is now listed on the REG SHO list for failure to deliver for 5 consecutive days. They have been trying to force the price down becase of the insider buying that was listed over the last few days but nobody is selling shares at the price they set to fill the inside share purchase. This guy will freeze until its filled or they move off those positions. MSN list this stock to have a target price of $1.13 in the next 12 months. I see a split forward not an increase in authorized shares to release this dead lock. Which is cool with me because then this guy might run a little bit for a change. I've been on the bid and the ask and still having trouble getting filled on this guy. What I thinking has to be true, unless they plan to go private again as part of the new financial plan which in that case I can wait it out to get optimal value for my shares or I 'll just keep them forever I don't they can't go private without all the shares.
FTRS Management Presentation from August
http://www.foothills-resources.com/presentations/Foothills%20August%202008%20Management%20Presentation.pdf
Nothing public yet. They had to report back to the creditors yesterday. We may have to wait a bit for a public announcement. Anyone try and email them?
Are there any results???????
There are no information about yesterday...
who knows something????
Greetings

Would be sweet!
Next week will be the big turning point here. The company will hit the deadline as to how it will restructure financially to meet its debt obligations. I think people may be sittin gon the sidelines until they know what is going to happen. I am encouraged though that insider's keep buying at these levels.
We need to see some consitant volume in the 500,000- 1.5m range before we can get excited. Keep posting and drawing attention to this stock it has some potential to run and run hard based off it reduced price. I averaged down the other day on this guy and I'm happy in my new place here. I was in on the first pop to .17 from .115. I'm changing my view on this guy and starting to view it as a channel and not a pure pincher.
Bid is stacking at the moment. I would love to see this get back above .10 today. Would set us up nicely for next week. I am ancouraged by the insider buys and the growing volume.
I think this thing is priming to take off. In fact I think we will see news of a buyout in the next 2-3 weeks.
Insider Buy!!!!
John Moran:
150,000 shares at 0.10-0.12 US$
50,000 shares at 0,07 US$
Buying down as we speak in FTRS the pop is still coming just taking a lot longer than I thought. Check out MTKN & ALTU two more pinchers shaping up.
Finally WEED is off the ask (well moved to .50)! Any buying pressure now and we run. Love to see yesterday's volume again today.
FTRS bouncing off thr triple bottom, just need to knowck WEED off the ask and we will run. Big buys at the ask coming in. Volume is up huge!
Volume way up and we just hit the triple bottom at .10. Hope we are ready to move up
FTRS chart is shaping up. Triple bottom in process, descending triangle formed. Pinch is still tight.
FTRS Financials are out

FTRS Fundamental Analysis:
The company has recently announced some financing issues that caused the stock to tank. (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080815/laf024.html?.v=101)
In the report they list options to solve their debt problems as: a range of strategic alternatives, which may include a sale of a portion of the Company's assets, a merger or other business combination, or the issuance of equity or other securities, in connection with the repayment of all or a portion of the Company's obligations under the Credit Facility.
As a result they stated that they would go out and hire an external advisors to work with them on financing. This past week they announced who that firm is (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080829/laf016.html?.v=101).
I did some research on the firm that they hired. The firm that FTRS hired is an investment bank that specializes in M&A Advisory services.
Jim Parkman and Graham Whaling have formed energy investment-banking and M&A advisory firm Parkman Whaling LLC in Houston.
Parkman was a founder in 1989 of investment-banking and M&A advisory firm Petrie Parkman & Co., which was sold in 2006 to Merrill Lynch. Previously, he was with First Boston Corp. and the Federal Reserve Bank.
Whaling was a founder of Houston-based, EnCap Investments LP-funded E&P company Laredo Energy, which developed and sold assets in South Texas three times in the past six years: twice to Chesapeake Energy Corp. and once to El Paso Corp.
Previously, he was chairman of producer Michael Petroleum Corp., chairman and chief executive of Monterey Resources, a spin-out of Santa Fe Energy of which he was chief financial officer, and was with Lazard Freres & Co. and CS First Boston.
Parkman and Whaling can be reached at 713-333-8400.
Considering what the firm specializes in there is rumor that they have been brought in for sell-side support (e.g. FTRS may get acquired).
Tehnical Analysis:
Combined with the above FTRS is forming a nice pincher chart. The RSI is still under 30 but turning north. The ADX and PPO are pinching and it looks like they are beginning to roll. The ADX +DI is under 10 still, but turning north. OBV shows a nice uptick as is the Acc/Dist. PPS currently sits at .13 with support at .12 (tested twice)and .10 (double bottom). Just needs a little volume to pop nicely.
Like the Chart read. FTRS looks pretty strong for Tuesday.
That was my take as well. At worst it was a channel play from 12-17, if that breaks to .22 so much better. Looks like big resistance at .30 and sunny skies from there. That will need volume though.
I'm the wrong guy on PR news. I look at stocks from a chart only stand point. I like the fact that the ADX has remained high all week and any time the MM's give this guy some slack it runs. I jumped in about 8 days ago when it hit a bottom of .105 I didn't get any of those share but did get filled between .11 and .12 the chart tells me that reistance is heaviest at .22-.23 if it breaks that we could run to .35-.40 but I don't see the pressure there to break resistance. IMO the chart knows the news before we do and it says something good is on the way because of the accumulation over the last 3 days. People are getting in and holding which is going to eat up the remainder of the cheapies. Look for a pop in the earlier part of next week. If its coming it should be then, about the time they will make an annoucement on the restructuring your talking about.
Any thoughts on the hiring of the M&A investment bank? Be nice to get a pop from that if the bank was brought in for some sell-side work.
Yeah still holding on @ just under .12 could have dumped at .17 but think the run will still be in the low .20-.22 range.
WEED has moved off the ask for the moment. Any buying pressure and we will run like yesterday's close.
Looks good. FTRS.
Well we will know by the 15 September according to the firt PR. That is when they have to have the restrucuting in place.
