looks like market made a decision
sup Tom, i just exited at 1.10. i can finally close this chapter. i milked 19%, after being down well over 50% the past 8 stinkin months. wheeeeew
I´m in at 1.25$!! I´m so glad about the last days. I think I will sell in the next hours.
Nobody knows the results so it isn´t funny to see FSNM way back in the 70s again!
Hoping for a little jump to 1.15$!
Thoughts about the action, remember cc is Monday. Good earnings whispers or merger? Who has the balz to hold?
puuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
yes like in the next 15 minutes! lol
Amen! let's hope we get merger news soon.
finally tombrady!
yes sir popped the dollar! this is a good sign IMO
out of the gate-very nice action$$$$$$
It looks like it was a small trade. Nothing big.
FSNM === After hours trading shows this stock is up higher than the close. We will just have to wait until the open to see the effects that it will produce.
I was sort of busy with work and all man ..I posted to reply to another board once or twice but didn't post much today..
I hope that tomorrow gives us the same type of climb ..
Seems like many regional banks got a positive boost today though!!
can't believe nobody else posted here today! GO FSNM!!!!!!!!!!
no, all is cool. I'm not getting the boot. GO FSNM
Why would you get kicked off IHUB sir? You need to have done something really bad to get kiced off IHUB..is it that bad?
Guys-I might be getting kicked off IHUB. I will still be long and strong here. Who wants to stop up and be the administrator?
might catch resistence @ .96, which is the 100 dma on the weekly chart
and heeeeeeeeere we go!
I just hope that we get good news on the quarterly report. The management had told us that the worse was behind them and that we should see improvement...that's what I am hoping for Tom.
Maybe like you said a merger..who knows, the previous management had hired a firm to seek out a suitable company to merge with..maybe they found one.
Tony-the key will be to hold this and build on top of it. JMHO
yes sir looking good today! I wonder what this is all about though.
are you guys seeing this? GO FSNM!!!
I think we are going to get good news this time around ..
But look at the last two Q-dates.
A big run before release and then back to the 40s!
I'm not going anywhere, the fun is just starting here
Lots of action, I think we fly over a buck. We might see merger news soon IMO. Something is going down. jmho
What just happened? Do I see 0.75$ or am I still in need of a coffee here? Was that resistance?
dre-you might be right, please let me know what you find out.
Thanks
I read somewhere that insiders are not allowed to buy the stock? Or maybe not allowed to purchase it during a certain time period... Some restriction or something.
I'll try to find where I read that restriction, it might have been from a quarterly report. that may be the reason why you haven't seen any directors buying the stock.
Take it with a grain of salt until I can find the document where I read it. I could be off base with this.
I want to see some "insider" buying at this level. Come on guys show us you're confident. GO FSNM
I'm still with CRBC. I'm just waiting for that one PR to move FSNM back into Dollar land.
Starting to become very Bullish about FSNM! GO GO GO
I certainly hope so..and hope there are still some covering for them to do to get this price up a bit more for all of us here waiting !
Pleasant day for FSNMers.
It could be that today marked the beginning of the end for the shorts.
;)
Just like CRBC had all along, FSNM has some healthy institutional interest. Top holder is Vanguard. Just a matter of time for FSNM. The float is only 19.2 million shares, which is tiny compared to CRBC's float of about 392 million.

;)
Same to you Tom..well deserved and long time coming
I believe it is Tony :) GLTY
Volume starting to pick up ..I hope this is what we've all been waiting for .
you & i should of stayed with CRBC
Thanks. CRBC has been in a simular situation as FSNM. It finally broke upwards and doesn't seem to want to stop. I expect FSNM to do a drastic turn with it's financials. Just not sure which way it's going to turn. Every financial that's been riding that .50 area seems to be making drastic turns one way or the other. Sure would like to see this one make a run for that 1.00 mark.
Nice attempt at shaking shares outta the tree this morning ..
April 28th I think
Do you know when the quarterly is due ?
Steady Climb is about to begin-IMO GLTA
I've been on this bank for such a long time and still not sure where things stand with it.
Looking for another strong close today above .60. JMHO
But why so much sells?? As long as I own shares of FSNM I´m so nervous. I´m glad when this stock is at a point where the sell doesn´t hurt so much. Im very high in (1,25$) and can´t reduce.
In addition, I´m concerned when the FDIC makes some decision!
Can somebody appease me??
Anyway, good luck to all People with FSNM! Maybe it was a starting shot today and will continue this week!?

July 9th, 2009: 8K
Notice the bold text (60 days)- that's from the date July 2nd making 60 days later approx the first of September. Soooooo, anytime between now and then we might see another 8K or PR hopefully approving their submission.
On July 2, 2009, First State Bancorporation (the "Company") and its subsidiary bank, First Community Bank ("Bank"), executed a written agreement ("Agreement") with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and the New Mexico Financial Institutions Division (collectively, the "Regulators"). The Agreement is based on findings of the Regulators identified in an examination of the Bank and the Company during January and February of 2009. Several of the provisions in the Agreement are similar to an informal agreement entered into by the Company and the Bank in September 2008.
Under the terms of the Agreement, the Company and or the Bank agreed, among other things, to engage an independent consultant acceptable to the Regulators to assess the Bank's management and staffing needs, assess the qualifications and performance of all officers of the Bank, and assess the current structure and compositions of the Bank's board of directors and its committees. In addition, within 60 days of the Agreement, the Company and or the Bank will submit a written plan to strengthen lending and credit risk management practices and improve the Bank's position regarding past due loans, problem loans, classified loans, and other real estate owned; maintain sufficient capital at the Bank, holding company and the consolidated level; improve the Bank's earnings and overall condition; and improve management of the Bank's liquidity position, funds management process, and interest rate risk management.
