Rumor has it he is having breakfast with the CFO this morning at the company diner.
How's everyone doing verifying ANYTHING with our CEO? The volume and interest he has raised is making my head spin. Our friend the mms should have this down to 10k @ .11 x 10 k @ 13 soon. Thanks Brian!!

Hey Sam, happy belated birthday to the, what do you call yourself, "Wikipedia of Reno city councils"?
They should sell tickets to your "performances".
Level II shows all MM's, and bid/ask at .013/.0165. EOM.
Ameritrade says bid not available, ask .165. Bid shows up as .017. Hope no suspension in stock. Any clues? Dave
Charlie: In response to:
"I'll take my payment in strawberry-rhubarb pie Sir."
A large package with pies will be shipped--but will be sent by standard mail--arriving in about two to three weeks. I am not a very good loser. - Dave
PS - I was about to bet you another 10,000 shares you spelled rhubarb wrong. Good thing I checked. Reminds me of the motto, "When things are going bad, remember--they can still be going worse".
semi OT, I think the fix was in. The
umpires called the worst ball/strike
game against Detroit I've seen..
since they did it the day before.
Dave: A team of Destiny? All I know is this team has a flair for the dramatic! What a way for Victorino to break out of his horrible slump; will Drew break his against the Cards? Who cares as long as he makes plays like the one last night that saved a run late in the game.
Sox swept the Cards in 04.
Sox swept the Rockies in 07.
There's a whole generation of Sox fans who don't know what it's like to lose a World Series game. As long as the Card's pitchers aren't as dominate as the Tiger's - and how could they be - it just might happen again.
I'll take my payment in strawberry-rhubarb pie Sir.
Charlie
Charlie - Congrats on your Red Sox. Good game. Hope the Red Sox beat the Cardinals. Dave
Thanks Charlie - for your comments. I thought you might like to read what good Tiger followers think--from our newspaper:
The Detroit Tigers trail 3-to-2 in the American League Championship Series. They must win today in Game 6 to give themselves a chance to play a must-win Game 7 on Sunday. They face two games in Fenway Park, where strange things can happen and where the Boston Red Sox won more than 65 percent of their games this season.
What are the Tigers to do?
“You fight,” Torii Hunter said Thursday after his team’s 4-3 loss in Game 5. “Your back is against the wall. If you had a tiger, and he was backed in a corner, he couldn’t go left, he couldn’t go right, he couldn’t go behind him, what’s he going to do? Fight through. That’s what we’re going to try to do. That’s what tigers do.
“Our back is against the wall. We can’t go left, we can’t go right. We’re going to go right through it. I like being down 3-2. It feels good.”
PS - A Waitedg statistic: over the last 20 years in the big leagues the home field has a 54% to 46% advantage over its opponent - Dave
Dave: Seems weird addressing you that way. Your suggested letter was well written but I believe would fall on deaf ears, as Brian would just repeat his mantra of, NO SEC NO PR.
Net-Man's suggestion of asking about any recent sales might be worth trying. I'll start with Adam since I have better rapport with him.
Charlie
Thanks Charlie, It sure would be great
to know if it (they) is even still working?
Or maybe we don't hear anything about
it is because they do not want the competition
to find out how great it is... until
these guys have maybe 75 to 100 KDSs
installed?
But mid 2010 is a long time to be able
to keep silence about something that
is supposed to be so darn great.
Ya think?
Charlie - If sent in the right spirit, that last Cal PR could be sent to Brian. But, if there was one speck of negative criticism or negative comparison, it should not be sent.
My thoughts are that we understand many of the reasons for your silence on PR's, and your need and desire to not have them yet. We respect your effort at keeping our company afloat, and the efforts you are making, at retirement age for many men, and we have appreciation for your working nonsalaried these past few years, etc.
I am only sending this to say that your faithful stockholders are hoping, within your correct time frame, that we can again have a press release. Many of us do not have your patience and perseverance, etc.
Sincerely,
Charlie xxxxxxxx
Just my thoughts - Dave
Charlie - It might prove interesting to ask straight out about any recent sales.
Sleepin: Nope. Figured he'd just say it was in the works. <eom>
Charlie, did you ask Adam about the status of the website update? TIA
THIS COPY OF THE LAST PR IS ONLY TO SERVE AS A REMINDER AS TO WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, AND HOW UPLIFTING THEY CAN FEEL.
I'm also posting it because it is still not available on the company's website, so there are some who might never have seen it.

NEWS RELEASE July 26, 2010
First American Scientific Corp (FASC – OTCBB) announces the start up of a 20,000 ton per year Biomass Recycling plant in Okinawa, Japan.
From Hong Kong:
Cal Kantonen, Chairman of First American Scientific Corp. is pleased to announce the completion of a 20,000 ton per year waste wood pellet production facility by Biomass Recycling Center Co. Ltd (BCR) in Uruma City, Okinawa, Japan. The plant, which includes three KDS Model S-6 systems, was designed and engineered by JP Steel Plantech Co., FASC s licensee for Japan.
The plant consists of three independent production lines. Each line is centered around one KDS Model S-6 system and processes 2,750 kgs per hour or 22 tons of wood waste per 8 hour shift. Total plant capacity is 66 tons per day, or 20,000 tons of wood pellets per year. Future plans are in place to triple the plant capacity and to add 6 additional KDS systems.
The pellets will be sold to Okinawa Electric Power Company to be mixed with coal at the Kin thermal power plant and will add a “green energy” component to their power generation and reduce their dependence on imported fossil fuels.
This project represents a major achievement in First American’s plans to revolutionize the alternative green energy business of ‘turning waste into resources’ and will become a showpiece for our KDS technology. According to documents released by BCR “Our intention is to expand procurement of raw materials and research for other material such as sewage sludge and animal waste sludge to diversify the biomass resources.” Future plans include tripling the plant capacity and adding 6 additional KDS systems.
Okinawa, Japan, population 1.4 million, is a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean about halfway between mainland Japan and Hong Kong. Just about everything they need on the island is imported by either plane or boat, but according to local law, no waste can leave the island. It has thus become a world leader in recycling.
FASC’s patented KDS “Kinetic Disintegration System” creates a clean dry powder from waste biomass in an efficient, cost effective manner without the use of supplemental fuel. The clean burning fuel can be used in both domestic and industrial burners to create heat for electrical power known as “green energy”.
FASC has licensed operations in North America, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Europe.
Charlie - If you are serious, I will take on that 10,000 share bet on game six at Fenway Park. I think Scherzer is the better pitcher. And if you lose, I will go another 10,000 shares on game seven-- if we get that far. As stock transfer is next to impossible--an alternative payment might be close of market price next Monday. This will certainly offer a little excitement, as we wait for some "happenings" with FASC
Next to losing money on FASC and a certain fascination with the opposite sex (to which RJ and I have common appreciations), baseball is exciting. And, as with FASC, I like "underdog situations". Waitedg
Sleeping: No, just that they (JCL) go from trial testing to full production. IMO
I very much like that you guys are taking the initiative to contact HQ again.
In addition to all of the dd that we have uncovered, it helps to hear from them if only by phone (for now).
OT (again) the big question is whether my alma mater
can beat Notre Dame tomorrow? Or how close they
can(not) play them.
PS
Did you ever think you would see a website
like this one I just created. I bet it holds
ALL the records in its category.
(But Guiness isn't interested in important
stuff like this)
http://www.renocitizen.com/movies.htm
Charlie, does go live mean compliant with SEC filings? Thanks.
Net-Man: Yes, that's how I read the tea leaves.
Wish there was more to talk about. We were all psyched about a new sale (finally!) to the hen company. Now it's been delivered and possibly up and running and...and...when will HQ acknowledge it?
So happy that I have my friend at JCL giving me hope, along with Adam's confirmation of the plan to go live before the end of the year. I think I can hang on another month or two.
These days of ZERO volume are getting old.
Thank goodness we have sports to take our minds off FASC.
Pats over the Jets? Sox in 6? Two more miracle finishes? Hope not, cuz the old ticker might not survive. I've got 10,000 shares that say Buchholz beats Scherzer. I know Joe and Dave are hoping for 7, but the way Fielder and Cabrerra are playing it ain't gonna happen. Especially at Fenway Park.
Charlie
OT? If somebody came down from Mars and
saw a KDS and a Google, which do you
think he would choose to see him
through life.
And then there is the "real" world...
Please don't torment us. Many of us have millions of shares here with visions of great wealth with each penny uptick in price. If only the stock would cooperate. Seeing that Google wealth is just painful and distressing. And seeing that smug Blumberg's face with them is even worse.
semi OT - WHY BOTHER ($3,000,000,000): http//..
http://www.forbes.com/sites/ryanmac/2013/10/18/google-cofounders-larry-page-and-sergey-brin-up-a-combined-5-9-billion-in-less-than-24-hours/?partner=yahootix
One supposedly in hand (StM referral), but unconfirmed by Adam (surrogate to Brian) and three potential from the same source that was posting one immediate purchase months ago...
Al
Charlie - by that count then, 4 machines?
Al, I will try to reach out to Adam. With Kelly on board, I can almost guarantee that financial statements are updated. It the audit and SEC compliance that we need to worry about. I believe TR indicated that annual accounting fees (which I think includes the quarterly reports) was approximately $40,000. I am honestly not sure how much it would cost to catch up on everything which I think includes 2 annual audited statements plus one or two 10Qs. Does that mean $80,000? -I don't know but if so I can see why it is not done. Unfortunately for us, it seems that the darkness is going to continue for the foreseable future - if I had to guess - another year.
Called twice with no answer....next suggestion....
At some point Brian Nichols must be held accountable...this is a deteriorating quagmire with ZERO guidance from the CEO.
STM refers a sale and says a KDS was deleivered...WHY cannot FASC confirm this?? never mind going on three months to update fins with zero sales....
Al
Net-Man: No. I believe that the Chauffage St-Malo project is getting the three, and the reason is the electricity production contract. Wasn't the KDS originally going to be used for heat only? Now I think it's CHP.
From my perspective, the more immediate question is the financial health of the company. Is FASC currently profitable? I happen to believe they are. However, the decision has probably been made to maintain the status quo until further sales are made and then things, such as, financial reports and pr's will be taken care of. So, what sales other than Val D'Or have been made? What else can be shared? Call HQ...
Charlie - is this what you are saying?
1 machine Val D'Or
3 machines dedicated electricity production
1 machine Chauffage St-Malo
Net-Man: "...expand by three fold the original plan. This means that we will need 3 KDS machines."
Netman, I kind of mis-understood
Charlie's report. He cleared it
up. (I hope.)
Still holding..
semi OT-Here's Sam taking a "cleansing breath" at
Reno city hall. (this kind of stuff keeps
him so busy.. that he sometimes forgets some
details of KDS stuff. Yup!)
HERE IS ANOTHER REASON RENO CITY HALL NEEDS TO CHANGE:
Reno city council wants to go to D.C.
Watch Sam tell them how to save the tax dollars.
Mr (mayor) Cashell; just ask Reid to send the money.
Sam? Sarcastic? Reid? Cashell? Sam? Ya think?
charlie - As I understand it, the total number of machines is 4. 1 was sold to and delivered to a company in Val D'Or. St-Malo indicated he and others are planning to purchase 3 machines for a electricity production plant. Presumably St-Malo is also interested in his own machine for Chauffauge St-Malo.
That seems to add up to 5 machines.
Sam - I am unclear what your post is asking. Is there some doubt that Lakson sold a machine to a company in Val D'Or?
SS is correct. At the end of the day various posters from STM to TR to NM to TKL to RJ try to spin positive. The company is delinquent on its fins, NEVER engages in market or shareholder communication, and produces ZERO verification of ANY of the positive spin. This results in an illiquid penny stock with negligible volume, and it appears to not have changed in FOUR YEARS. Thanks Brian!!!
Now even info posted here (by STM) is SPECIFICAALY not confirmed by #2 Nichols. What a farce for public company!!!
Al
Sam: The KDS with the motor issue went to the hen company and you are right, it should be running by now.
The paperwork changing the number of KDS from 1 to 3 that St-Malo mentioned is probably making its way across Canada, from Quebec to Vancouver, as we speak.
Take a deep cleansing breath, it will help you calm down.
Charlie
Charlie, "I (you) also asked for confirmation on St. Malo increasing its need of KDS from one to three, but he had not heard that."
Geesch!
I thought half of the whole St Malo brouhaha was that HE SAID there were going to be more than JUST the one KDS (the one with the motor
that needed replacing.. AND SHOULD BE IN PLACE AND RUNNING BY NOW) needed.
Are you now indicating that he did not say there was need for more KDSs?
Fasctrack - Brian has indicated that Kelly has kept the financials up to date. Unknown by me whether the auditors have been requested to review as yet. That might be the real question to ask should you call.
Something else you might consider asking is what sales have recently taken place. :)
Thanks Charlie. I may call Adam because I have one additional question - unless you or Tony can chime in. Financial statements are usually generated by management which I assume that Kelly is fully capable of doing and perhaps has done already. The job of the auditor is to audit management's financial statements. So I guess it is not clear to me if Kelly is still generating financial statements (which would seem very odd) or has FASC actually engaged the auditor? If FASC has actually engaged the auditor, that suggests to me that FASC is obviously much more serious in getting the audit completed; that FASC has probably given them a down payment on fees knowing that the balance will be paid with impending cash flows and finally gives me a better sense of timing. Sorry for being long-winded.

Charlie......thanks for your updates. EOM.
Fasctrack: Yes, that was just for the financials. And yes, they are being worked on, as others have reported.
I also asked for confirmation on St. Malo increasing its need of KDS from one to three, but he had not heard that.
Charlie
Charlie, just to clarify since I am a little dense at times; the "huge" sum of money you referred to was updating financials/SEC compliance stuff not the website, correct?
I thought that Adam had indicated to others that updating the financials was in process? I am confused.
I suspect that is why Board members are now pushing to update the website because they have come to the conclusion that completing the audit and issuing PRs is a long time away.
mouser......I think if you carefully read all of the information that has been provided on this
board, you will find a great deal of substantiation of the efficacy of the KDS from numerous sources.
But I agree that its time that FASC used its website revamp to update all shareholders with the valuable information that it can share.
"you mean the unsubstantiated heresay???"
Exactly. Here at the non-reporting sleazy end of the already deeply corrupt penny stock markets, unattributable second and third hand reports, forecasts based on leaps of faith and a desperate need for positive news, coupled with the traditional "it's all the fault of the market makers for manipulating the pps" excuse beloved of conmen everywhere are the traditional fodder of the enemies of transparency.
Sooner or later someone has to wonder why it has to be this way with FASC. The answer is clearly unedifying but increasingly inescapable.
you mean the unsubstantiated heresay???

First American Scientific Corp.
Innovators in Grinding and Drying Industrial Feedstocks
First American Scientific Corporation manufactures and sells the KDS (Kinetic Disintegration System) Micronex
The KDS Micronex grinder-dryer employs intense kinetic energy to simultaneously pulverize and dewater a wide variety of virgin and recovered materials into fine dry powders. The innovative vertical shaft impact mill design incorporates high rotational speed and high velocity air flows to achieve superior grinding and drying results without requiring supplemental heat.
Addition of supplemental or waste heat may be used to increase machine throughput. The energy used for drying can be as low as one-third the energy used by a drum dryer and no secondary grinding process is required. An internal classifier in the unit controls the output particle size to between 100-2,000 microns.
The production rate ranges between 1-4 tonnes per hour depending on the raw material characteristics and moisture removal required. While many conventional grinding or milling systems require dried feed material, the KDS Micronex can process materials containing up to 70% moisture and can reduce them to less than 10% moisture.
The KDS disintegration technology is patented in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Korea and China.
The KDS Micronex system is marketed in various sizes and each model is customized to the buyer's requirements. The basic models are the S4, S6 and S8, plus there is a table top model designated the S2 and possibly an S3. FASC's licensees may use different names (e.g. MF-777 in Malaysia).
The acquisition cost of the model S8 varies from $300,000 to $400,000 depending on the application, auxiliary equipment, and the version chosen.

Prince George, B.C. wastewater treatment [PROJECT DEAD]
October 31, 2005
First American Scientific Corp (FASC - OTCBB) signs agreement with the City of Prince George to install KDS Micronex equipment for processing sewage sludge at their wastewater treatment facility
Brian Nichols, President of First American Scientific Corp. (FASC) announced today the signing of an MOU with the city of Prince George, BC, Canada to assist in solving its environmental cleanup problems with sewage sludge using the KDS Micronex system. "This will be the first operation of its kind in the world, says David Dungate, FASC's VP of marketing, where the strictly regulated Class B municipal sludge can now be cleaned, bagged and profitably sold to the public as a soil amendment." The initial runs will be monitored for three months, and if satisfactory, the city plans to establish a permanent facility utilizing up to 4 micronizers.
According to Dayton & Knight, the city's consulting engineers, "the series of tests undertaken this summer 2005 at FASC's Vancouver demonstration site confirmed the ability of the KDS Micronex to consistently convert Class "B" biosolids to Class "A" biosolids and achieved an effective pathogen destruction rate of 99.9 % in all test samples"
FASC believes the KDS Micronex could become the preferred universal solution for handling Class B sludge by converting municipal waste into a valuable resource. With the successful showcase of our system's ability in Prince George, Canada, we could see our system in use all across the developing world.
There are approximately 15,000 municipal wastewater treatment plants in North America alone that process almost 34 billion gallons of domestic sewage and other wastewater each day. In Asia and Europe the markets are even larger, and FASC is well poised to service those markets through its established network of licensees and affiliates in the U.K., Poland, the USA, Canada, Malaysia, and Japan.

WRAP Project Explores New Projects and Markets for Paper Mill Sludge [PROJECT FINISHED]
March 2007
A New Approach to Paper Mill Sludge
As part of its programme to encourage the economic use of recycled fibre, WRAP identified a novel process in Canada - the KDS Micronex, which uses relatively low energy input to treat paper mill sludge through centrifugal action to produce a commercially dry material which can be separated through vibrating screening into a fibre fraction and a filler fraction.
10-K/A-1 update for fiscal year ending 06/30/08: In December 2004, a KDS Model S-4 was shipped to Aylesford Newsprint in London, England for trial runs and evaluation. The testing is now complete and a final report was issued in April 2007.
The KDS machine has been relocated to a new mill in Northern England where it awaits new funding to continue the research.
