eom: thanx - however, at this point I'm fully vested
Ok, thanks. Take a look at FNJN, you may like what you see.
eon: I'm out of FEYE - switched to HACK
OT- does anyone know if FEYE has set aside funds for the FNJN IP lawsuit?
My WAG is FEYE ends up buying them out... or I hope that at least. lol
Night: agreed - that's why I got into it. Did the same for biotechs - Have IBB.
Well that is true. Like I said HACK is an ETF that has several cyber security stocks within. When the cyber security stocks are down you won't experience as large a loss and vice versa. The risk/loss is spread out between them all. In other words is won't be as volatile. Also if an idiot analyst(s) throws out a downgrade on a particular company, as is what happened this past week with FEYE, it won't hurt the ETF as much as the other companies within the "basket" of stocks may have upgrades put on them.
Night: I made the switch - however HACK has FEYE in their portfolio - so they too may be affected.
Like I said before when you see insiders dumping their shares as in the last few days it is always guaranteed they see the train wreck before anybody else. This company is a mess call security lol.
The Monolith: Thanx, I now know
catty
There is a board for HACK here on I-hub if you wish to converse more on the subject.
Yes HACK is an etf and is a basket of most of all the cyber security stocks. Way less volitile.
Night: Again, thanks for the lead on HACK - I just checked it out and will definitely get into it. Not sure about still holding my FEYE but will watch it carefully.
Niht - thanks for your insight. Sounds like good advice. Is Hank an ETF? I like the sector.
They must not be talking it up very good as early future prices have dropped 6% down to the 49's for no reason. I guess when there is an insider that sells $10 million worth of the stock it gets investors mighty nervous and they bail. This is typical FEYE BS it just can't be trusted. If you have to be invested in cyber security stocks it is best to be in HACK and play the whole industry than just one company that can't even turn a profit.

They're rally talking up the Federal cyber attack on Fox News. Good for FEYE.
The Monolith: Thanks for your post. As I mentioned before, I had and sold FEYE about a year ago in the $70s when it had a lot less going for it. Am sure it'll reach that and more again. When, who knows!
FEYE has had a nice run lately. It needed a bit of a pullback, and possible a bit more ahead before the next run.
Check my profile, latest posts, to see one of my favorite in the space that I believe has a lot of upside ahead. Hint - wide.
I still think that FEYE will probably reach triple digits before the sector run is over.
The Monolith: We need another good hacking to get this stock to move again
FEYE should be a good 10 year hold type stock.
fink: greed is good! good luck.
Rolled 1/3 of my LNG last week on my Dad's advise.
Been biting my finger nails ever since.
Today, I wish I had rolled 1/2, lol
Greed and fear!
fink: I remember selling it for over $70 a while back. It has a lot more going for it now, so I see no reason why it shouldn't even over-reach that price. (soon I hope).
It's a Beast.
Up around 25% in a last few weeks. It won't go straight up, but fairly close for the past weeks.
Night: Maybe just as fast, but really not that bad (so far)
Well so much for that fleeting moment lol. You can always figure that this stock will shoot up and fall back just as fast.
Night: True, they're in a much better position financially now
I agree full heartedly. When this stock first came out it ran to the 90's with no news. Now with all the great news and upbeat cyber security problems that surround us it will be just a matter of time when this could possibly bust the $100 mark. JMHO
TheMonolith: I agree that's why I go back into it after a year or so.
IMO, this could easily hit triple digits this year. Cyber security is going to be front and center on the minds of the American public.

$FEYE DD Notes ~ http://www.ddnotesmaker.com/FEYE
Night: Had FEYE a while back and got out in the $70's - I c no reason for it not to reach that again, especially with the China cyber attack - the Govt. needs FEYE because the company they have now didn't detect the invasion but then again, what u expect from the present Administration!
Yuppers just like I said and the 60's are even closer.
I saw call option 50 expire tomorrow was bought at ASK for 20 cents yesterday for 2000 contracts when stocks was around $46. I thought he was crazy. He must have inside info. ahead of time.
If he close out today, He could guarantee the cost back and see the rest over $50 by tomorrow.
Right and partnering with one of the largest credit card companies adds even more glow to the glisten. This stock will push into the 50's tomorrow and the 60's are not far away IMHO.
And another deal this afternoon. FireEye is looking like the darling of a very hot group. The sector had HUGE out performance today.
Have to agree now that they have partnered with the largest computer company in the world. I had a feeling the last day or so that something like this would happen and it did. Upward and onward ho we will go!
FireEye is a very compelling growth story in a major growth sector of the economy. Not a stock I'd want to fight.
Here is more good news these crooks are pulling:http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/1197086.htm You think the stock has been dropping because the insiders are selling? Now the dillution will slamp this down so hard you won't even know your name.
More like the 33's as the insiders are all dumping the majority of their shares and you wonder why this is dropping like a rock?
Heading back up to 43s this week! Could see even higher levels.
Keep dreaming this POS dives dam near $3.00 in one day? WTF! This company is the most disappointing company with all the inside robbers unloading this crap. Stay the heck away from this thing unless you want to lose your arse lolol
12 months?
I like what I see here. I like the high institutional ownership. I like the revenue growth. Good things coming here. I doubt we see any more shares going for less than 42 any more. What is the timeframe for your PT?

FireEye, Inc., incorporated on February 18, 2004, invented a purpose-built, virtual machine-based security platform that provides real-time protection to enterprises and governments worldwide against the next generation of cyber attacks. Its technology approach represents a paradigm shift from how information technology (IT) security has been conducted since the earliest days of the information technology industry. The FireEye platform provides real-time, dynamic threat protection without the use of signatures to protect an organization across the primary threat vectors, including Web, email, and files and across the different stages of an attack life cycle. The core of its purpose-built, virtual machine-based security platform is its virtual execution (MVX), engine, which identifies and protects against known and unknown threats that existing signature-based technologies are unable to detect. The new generation of cyber attacks on organizations, including large and small enterprises and governments worldwide, is characterized by an unprecedented escalation in the complexity and scale of advanced malware created by criminal organizations and nation-states. In January 2014, FireEye, Inc. announced that it had acquired Mandiant.
The Company provides a comprehensive platform that employs a virtualized execution engine and a cloud-based threat intelligence network that uniquely protects organizations from next-generation threats at all stages of the attack lifecycle and across all primary threat vectors, including Web, email and file systems. Its platform is delivered through a family of software-based appliances and includes its DTI cloud subscription as well as support and maintenance services. Its technology platform, built on its MVX engine, is able to identify and protect against known and unknown threats without relying on existing signature-based technologies employed by legacy IT security vendors and best-of-breed point solution vendors. FireEye has over 1,000 customers across more than 40 countries, including over one-third of the Fortune 100.
