As you stated, possible dilution in the making?
Awe, no service is right 100% of the time.. I just go there to look at the meanings of groups of candles for the most part.
I think BTN is still one of the most solid company`s out there... not sure why it even took a dump in the first place.
computer generated hogwash, it doesn't factor in things like
company buy back of shares
algorithmic trading
high frequency traders
re-adjustments to index allocations
stop losses being hit
if American bulls was right all the time,
we'd all be rich and wouldn't need anything else.
avoid those services, thats how I screwed up this trade-SGG
I followed the advice of one of those services and fcuked myself
good, 1k shares at 40 do the math. use your own judgement, that's
what its all about.
Good news for Landec, first off, it broke the upper part of the pennant, or flag, whatever u wanna call it... BUt then, it came back down as suspected to fill that gap.. now that its filled, I think we head back up Monday... will see what happens.
Not liking what Americanbulls is saying though. Whatever the case, time to get into some stocks with a nice big fat upward trend.
LNDC
Today a Black Candlestick was formed. This represents normal selling pressure.
The last two candlesticks formed a Bearish Kicking Pattern . This is a bearish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. Though it is highly reliable confirmation is still recommended.
A bearish pattern has developed and a SELL-IF alert is issued today. You will see if we erred slightly in our previous BUY signal. A confirmation in the next session will show that we have underestimated the bearish power of the market. You may realize a small loss but prevent a bigger one if you are following our guidelines. The task is now to confirm the validity of this bearish pattern. We ask your effort and time. A good starting point is to keep an eye on after-hours trading and futures trading to get preliminary hints about market direction. Related news, events, economic data, and the outlook of the world markets must be closely followed prior to confirmation session.
There are three possible cases of bearish confirmation. You have to follow the session closely to see if these cases will hold or not.
The market opens with a downward gap, signaling a bearish sentiment in the first case. Your benchmark will be the opening price. If the prices stay below the benchmark, sell your shares. Any black candlestick with a downward gap is a valid bearish confirmation criterion.
In the second case, the market opens at a level, equal to or above the previous day’s close. The benchmark is that closing price. If prices during the session stay below the benchmark, sell your shares. Any black candlestick closing below the previous day’s close is the second confirmation criterion.
If, however, in both cases, the prices during the session start going over the benchmark avoid selling.
The third case of confirmation is rarely observed. The market opens with a big upward gap suggesting a very bullish day, and the day ends with a black candlestick, but still closing above the previous day’s close. Such a day satisfies the third confirmation criterion and the closing price of the black candlestick is the benchmark.
If one of the three confirmation criteria is not fulfilled, or in case of a white candlestick or a doji on the confirmation day, the SELL-IF alert remains valid, however, without confirmation and the three confirmation criteria are then sought in the following day. The only exception is the long white candlestick. Any white candlestick following a SELL-IF alert makes the signal void and invalid.
The market looks strong on the short side as evidenced by recent price activity. If the SELL-IF is confirmed, new short selling may be considered.
Well ENTI aka Musicmatrix.com launched today, and it was a gigantic titanic of a letdown. Not one single word in that news today told us anything we did not already know. The so called 10 programmers they have, did absolutely nothing to the web site, except change 2 buttons, and a counter. To think I lied to myself about this piece of sh*t all this time, disgusts me. Throughly disappointed, and will stick with WDRP for now. And of course now I will have an extra 30 grand up from ENTI, not that I need it right now. But More LNDC.
Just one huge fricking letdown with Musicmatrix. My son could have made a web site like that, uploaded 7 million songs, and been done with it in about 1 week.. 10 programmers have been working in this thing for 6 months, and the web site looks like its from the 1990s...... Im just done.
7 or 8 by Christmas would be fine with me, even by end of year would be fantastic!
At current earnings, and I think you told me once before, but what is the book value of the shares according to earnings?
I'm hoping we can get this up to around $7 or $8 by Christmas and then hold there for awhile so as to cash in some profits into 2011.
Im not selling any until January, I might even add more, I keep
thinking maybe some private equity firm will snatch this up at a premium, LANDEC a cash cow, I'm sure somebody out there thinking about it. jmo
You are right, she is going $$$$$$$ 41k volume already.... $$$$
Ya, I saw that before I read the PR... Im just not fully understanding I guess.. BUT, from what I take, ABAT added more shares as an IPO, thus diluting their stock?
Your right, beautiful finish for LNDC today..... whoa, was watching it on L2
Looks more like a 10 day fling with TIXC.... at least the chart im looking at
Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hear ya brother.. And I am ready for some serious swing tradin myself. My favorite kind of trading.
Can you believe that I am still banned on the LNDC board? And for what? What the hell did I ever post there to warrant this and of all the boards, LNDC???? Wow....
Thats one beautiful chart $$$$
I like the 2nd part of this article, about apple. If you could only see my office, and my book cases full of DVD sets, and seasons of my favorite shows, the Sopranos, the Shield, and on and on and on.. I have over 3000 DVD movies, and full season TV shows in my collection. Its quite absurd to be honest. But hey, thats what the stock market affords me to do.
I just went to that link and read the article. Im extremely impressed. But the issue I have, and continue to have, (not with the stock), is that the graphics that these games will be played on, will be on normal television sets, which have horrible graphics compared to a computer screen. Now, grant it, todays television has come a long ways, with the big screens... I know I have one. Its been great for 7 years. But the picture is still not as brilliant as my NEC monitor. Now, maybe with the high def flat panel televisions, that would be the bomb. And maybe by the time Transgamming comes out with the full blown product, most of the world will have high def flat panel tv`s. I know I probably will. I think their idea is brilliant. It gets people away from the computer, even if they dont know it does. You sit down to watch say Dexter, or Sons of Anarchy, or, whatever, and whammo, gametree pops up after your show.... Pretty damn smart..... this company going to go a long ways.
GameTreeTV offers viewers new entertainment opps
Imagine after watching Survivor in prime-time a message popped up asking if you wanted to continue your Survivor experience. Agree, and you are taken to a screen filled with games based on the series that can be played on your TV.
Toronto’s Transgaming Technologies is looking to turn that branded entertainment experience into a reality with its GameTreeTV platform accessible through set-top boxes.
It’ll begin its launch this fall in Europe, where the penetration of set-top boxes is much higher than in North America. (Transgaming president and CEO Vikas Gupta explains that European set-tops use a much more advanced technology (e.g. they are broadband enabled) than what’s used on this side of the pond, so their hardware has the necessary processing power.)
“We’re not trying to compete with consoles or hardcore games,” Gupta tells Playback Daily. “It’s the App Store for the digital living room.”
Transgaming teamed up with Intel, which makes the chip that allows GameTreeTV to run on the set-top box. It’ll license the platform through cable operators, which will then be offered in a package to consumers.
At press time, Gupta couldn’t name the cable operator for the initial launch, but did say there would be an expanded roll-out in 2011 with other operators across the globe. His hope is to eventually bring the service to North American soil.
Though the company has not yet locked down any deals with Survivor or any TV-based game content, Gupta and his team are open to these types of discussions, as the GameTreeTV user interface is ripe for branding opportunities. It allows for promotional trailers and analytics, so if consumers are playing a certain type of game, suggestions of similar titles based on that data will pop up.
Target demos include moms, kids and families, so casual games are top of mind, with a range of 30 to 50 available titles at launch. The games are played with the set-top’s remote control (think the Nintendo Wii remote).
Transgaming has already secured deals with casual biggies like PopCap Games (Bejeweled, Peggle, Plants vs. Zombies) and indie hits like 2D Boy’s World of Goo. And because the company has an internal game development studio, the idea is to feed their own original IPs into the platform.
Gupta describes it as the video game equivalent to Netflix, except that GameTreeTV will offer the flexibility of letting users rent or purchase the games.
“Everyone is a gamer,” said Gupta. “You either just don’t know it or you don’t call yourself that.”

Ottawa firms leading way in video games, touch screens
Ottawa companies quietly lead the way in many areas. One firm, called Gametree, is on the leading edge of video gaming, another, You-i Labs, is helping many companies bring their mobile devices of all kinds into the age of touch sensitive screens.
Gametree is the brainchild of Transgaming, a company founded in Ottawa a decade ago. Its research team remains in the capital, but the company is now headquartered in Toronto.
Transgaming works with some of the major game-makers on many of the industry's biggest games. With Gametree, they are trying to catch the wave of change underway in how people access games. Gametree is a sort-of access portal that would be offered by a company like Rogers, with the consumer getting video games on demand
Gavriel State founded Transgaming and now works on the technical side.
"People like to get their games in all kinds of ways on all kinds of devices," said Gavriel State, founder of Transgaming. "That is what we do. We try to cover as many of those platforms as possible."
Transgaming is also trying to develop a way to enable games developed for PC's to be compatible with MAC's.
The next frontier for the company is to expand overseas.
"Canadian companies have to look to overseas markets to expand," said CEO Vikas Gupta, who just returned from a trade mission to Finland and Sweden. "This was my first trade mission and it won't be my last."
Gupta was joined on the trip by Jason Flick, CEO at You-i Labs.
"Ten days, 3 time zones, dozens of meetings but it was definitely worth it and something we could not do on our own," said Flick.
You-i Labs has software that can equip almost any device with a touch sensitive screen interface like the iPhone.
Flick believes this is going to be their breakout year.
"From a furnace controller to a phone to anything, that is where we see our market," Flick said. "Our first customer is going to launch a product using our software at the Consumer Electronics show in January in Las Vegas and I think it will be transformative."
You-i Labs has received some provincial investment money. Flick has won several awards as a new age CEO. The company also has several creative ad campaigns, such as sending out View Masters to showcase their new 3D technology. All of these things have opened up doors with many perspective clients
Flick says government help, such as the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation, has become key for new firms. Incubation is another way to gain success and he says young people are coming out of school with a strong entrepreneurial work ethic.
"It used to be kids come out of school and work for Nortel but now that has all changed."

Intel Working With ‘Several’ TV Makers on Web-Connected Devices
Share Business
By Jun Yang
Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp., the world’s biggest chipmaker, is working with “several” global television makers to introduce models built with its chips as demand for Internet- enabled products grows.
“We are working with several tier-one original equipment manufacturers,” Martin Despain, a marketing director at Intel’s Digital Home Group, said in an interview in Seoul today, declining to give the names of the companies. Some of the products may be shown during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, he said.
Intel, whose processors are already in about 80 percent of the world’s personal computers, plans to introduce a new chip that goes into TVs next year, Despain said. Technology firms are trying to benefit from growing demand for TVs that allow viewers to buy on-line video games and applications that do anything from forecasting the weather to measuring the string tension of a tennis racket.
The Santa Clara, California-based chipmaker is increasing investment in developing chips for TVs even as consumers spend less on buying electronic goods, he said.
“Intel tends to reinvest through downturns in order to be better prepared for the upturns,” Despain said.
Samsung Electronics Co., the world’s largest TV maker, is “open” to using Intel chips in its TVs, Yoon Boo Keun, head of the South Korean company’s TV business, said today.
In October, Sony Corp., the world’s third-largest TV maker, began offering Internet-enabled TVs in the U.S. that use Google Inc.’s software. Apple Inc. released a $99 TV set-top box in September that delivers movies and TV show rentals from the Internet.

Phosphate Holdings, Inc. Reports Third Quarter 2010 Financial Results
MADISON, Miss., Nov 09, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Phosphate Holdings, Inc. (PHOS 9.50, +1.10, +13.10%) , today reported a third quarter 2010 profit of $2.5 million, or $0.30 per diluted share of common stock, compared to earnings of $0.7 million, or $0.09 per diluted share of common stock for the same period in 2009.
Total net sales for the third quarter of 2010 were $70.4 million, a 67 percent increase from total net sales of $42.1 million for the third quarter of 2009. The average sales price per short ton of DAP during the third quarter of 2010 was $455, a 70 percent increase from the prior-year period average sales price of $267. During the third quarter, the Company sold 152,500 tons of DAP, all into the domestic market. The Company recorded operating income of $3.9 million for the third quarter of 2010, compared to operating income of $0.9 million for the prior-year period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the third quarter of 2010 was $7.3 million, compared to EBITDA of $3.8 million for the third quarter of 2009. In the third quarter of 2010 and 2009, EBITDA was favorably impacted by litigation settlements, net of related costs, of $0.8 million and $3.0 million, respectively.
During its third fiscal quarter of 2010, production problems impaired the Company's ability to fully participate in a rapidly improving phosphate market. A waste heat boiler in one of the Company's sulfuric acid plants, which failed during June 2010, was repaired by the end of the second quarter; however, collateral damage to other parts of the plant caused by the boiler failure could not be addressed until the scheduled maintenance turnaround currently underway. For the third quarter, the Company's sulfuric acid production was approximately 187,000 tons, or 77 percent of originally planned levels. Reduced sulfuric acid production had a corresponding unfavorable impact on DAP production, which was approximately 156,000 short tons.
From a market perspective, the third quarter of 2010 saw significant upward movement in DAP prices. DAP prices began the quarter at $408 per short ton, NOLA, and $458 per metric ton, FOB, U.S. Gulf. At quarter's end, DAP prices were $550 per short ton, NOLA, and $566 per metric ton, FOB, U.S. Gulf. Sulfur prices in the quarter were posted at $95 per long ton, CFR, Tampa. Ammonia prices began the quarter at $355 per metric ton, CFR, Tampa, and closed the quarter at $465 per metric ton, CFR, Tampa.
Commenting on third quarter results, Robert E. Jones, Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are pleased to report positive third quarter results despite the significant carry-over impact of operational issues, which first arose during our second fiscal quarter. In the face of steadily deteriorating instantaneous production rates, our operating and maintenance personnel at Pascagoula did an admirable job of keeping our sulfuric acid plants online. We also did a good job of controlling overall spending for the quarter. As a result of these efforts and improving market fundamentals, we were able to bounce back from a very difficult second fiscal quarter of 2010. Our third quarter EBITDA of $7.3 million represents an increase of nearly $12 million over our second quarter 2010 EBITDA level of negative $4.6 million.
"On November 1, 2010, we commenced a major maintenance turnaround during which we plan to address all known issues constraining sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and DAP production. During the course of the turnaround, work will be performed on both sulfuric acid plants as well as on the phosphoric acid and DAP plants. The downtime associated with these maintenance activities will adversely impact fourth quarter operations. For the quarter, we are projecting DAP production of approximately 140,000 to 150,000 tons. While no assurance can be given, we currently expect to emerge from the November turnaround at materially improved operating rates."
Shifting to the near-to-intermediate-term industry outlook, Jones added, "The balance of 2010 and the first half of 2011 look promising. Since mid-summer, grain and other crop prices have increased substantially, driven by strong demand and lower expectations for the 2010 global harvest. This has created favorable expectations for crop economics, planted acreage and fertilizer demand. During the fourth quarter to date, DAP prices have remained firm domestically, while international prices have strengthened. Given the current tight phosphate supply/demand balance in the U.S., the outlook for the 2011 spring planting season is positive."
Stan, LNDC exploding to the upside on 33k volume LOL... we have hit a new high of 6.50 $$$$
