LITTLE ROCK, AR--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 8, 2009 -- DAC Technologies (OTC BB:DAAT.OB - News) today announced net sales of $2,161,691 for April and May, as compared to $1,760,412 for the same two months in 2008. This is an increase of $401,279, or 23%.
David A. Collins, Chairman and CEO, stated, "The Company is enjoying revenue increases in its core business of firearm accessories. The Company has also received a commitment from Wal-Mart for a large Holiday/Christmas promotion of its deluxe gun cleaning kit. All gun cleaning kits and accessories sold to Wal-Mart for the coming season will be under the Winchester® brand name as part of a licensing agreement between the Company and Olin Corporation, owner of the Winchester® trademark."
Collins further stated, "We feel privileged to be working with the world famous Winchester name. As discussed in our 2008 year end report, the Company will not be manufacturing its low gross margin items such as game processing kits, meat grinders, and fireplace equipment, instead focusing on its core items. The Company looks forward to significantly increasing its net earnings in 2009, to 12-14 cents per share."

Company has a history of aggressively buying back shares since Sept, an amount equal to 4% of the current outstanding shares.
Cost inputs have been going down for higher profits going forward.
DAAT = debt-free, very profitable, undervalued, sexy story with the company historically aggressively buying back shares in the open market.
Gun sales have gone through the roof which is helping DAAT since they sell gun locks, cases, and cleaning kits.

EGMI Update -- 5/14 C.C. -- forecasts Q2 record sales and earnings, they are expecting to announce the closing of "at least two" significant deals "with household names" by June 30, 2009. Insiders plan to continue to make open market purchases "when appropriate." (the chairman has bought millions of shares aggressively). A 3 million share buyback was officially voted on and approved.

Q1 Earnings were +.03 EPS for the Q, trailing +.10 EPS, guidance for +.14 for 2009 subject to acceleration with the announcement of the new deals being announced.
Despite EGMI being up huge from its low, even at THIS level, EGMI going forward remains my #1 favorite stock by leaps and bounds going forward. It's STILL trading so cheap it's pathetic IMO. .25/share in cash/investments, zero debt, pristine balance sheet, tiny PE both historic and going forward while guidance is going to be raised up probably big as suggested in the CC.
EGMI, from here, is going to blow the up big IMO

BMRA is a stock that I recently started acquiring that IMO looks quite undervalued. They sell medical diagnostic products. They had earnings of $0.039/share last quarter and last traded at $0.69. Here are some more reasons that I like BMRA:
- In their most recent quarter (Q3 ending Feb 2009) sales increased 10.7% year-over-year and 22.6% sequentially.
- They have very nice gross margins (49.1% in the most recent quarter) so additional sales drop rapidly to the bottom line.
- They have a very solid balance sheet with a book value of $0.64 (no intangibles). They have $0.23/share in cash on the balance sheet and virtually no debt.
- They are guiding for improved results. In the press release for Q3 earnings they stated "As we achieve milestones in expected new product introductions and regulatory approvals, we believe that fiscal 2009 will show improvements in our performance." There is only one quarter left in fiscal 2009 so it sounds like that quarter is expected to be good.
- I think the reason that the stock price is depressed is that they had a loss in Q2 ending November 2008. That loss was due to some one-time writeoffs.
- They have some new and expanded products in the works including some Celiac disease tests which they just purchased and a kidney disease test that they can now sell in Europe.
Thanks no3putts1! Not sure if it will be a regular stop, but it's always fun to come and hang out once in a while :)

Weekly Recap - Week ending 29-May-09The major averages finished higher on this holiday-shortened week -- S&P 500 +3.6%, Dow +2.7%, Nasdaq Comp +4.9%, Russell 2000 +5.0%. It was an extremely light week in terms of news flow and volume, with the biggest volatility due to gyrations in the bond market on Wednesday and Thursday.
Given the lack of news in the early going on Tuesday, investors looked to a much better-than-expected May Consumer Confidence reading of 54.9 (consensus 42.6) for guidance. It gave them more anecdotal evidence that economic conditions may be improving, and led to a 2.6% advance in the S&P.
The market looked to hold those gains on Wednesday, and did through morning and midday trade. But around 13:30ET bond yields began surging higher, which led to an aggressive sell-off in the stock market. The S&P ended down 1.9%.
The surge in yields occurred approximately 30 minutes after a successful 5-year notes offering. Though the auction itself was solid, mortgage origination sellers moved to hedge their positions and pressured the long-end of the yield curve. That sent the benchmark 10-year note more than one point lower, which pushed its yield above 3.70% to a fresh 2009 high. The higher borrowing costs associated with higher yields undermine the government's efforts to keep rates down in order to help along an economic recovery.
Treasury auctions remained on investors' minds on Thursday. After seeking direction in morning trade, the stock market managed to regain some of the prior day's declines after a successful 7-year notes offering that contained no surprises. The S&P ended 1.5% higher on the day.
There was some mixed economic data that morning worth mentioning.

On Friday DAAT posted EPS of $0.03 in a seasonally weak quarter with a 339% increase in net income! I posted about this stock at $0.35 (see prior post) and it is now trading at $0.61 but IMO the run is quite far from over.
Here are some reasons why I think DAAT will be a huge winner from the current price:
1. Revenue is growing at a 30% clip due to the huge demand for guns and the associated gun accessories that DAAT sells. There is fear of changing regulations which is driving gun sales. http://www.mlive.com/news/chronicle/index.ssf?/base/news-16/1233919064211400.xml&coll=8
2. DAAT's margins are expanding rapidly due to lower input costs and some price increases.
3. I expect 2009 EPS to be in the $0.15 ballpark thus making the forward PE a mere 4.
4. DAAT has recently been buying back shares. They have purchased 4% of the outstanding shares since September!
5. DAAT's book value is $0.89/share so they are trading at a sizable discount to BV. Furthermore, they are debt free!

EGMI - 2.5 bags down, 17.5 bags to go:

EGMI potential 20+ bagger IMO. They are debt-free, cash rich, making money hand over fist every quarter and growing rapidly. Guidance, which they always seem to beat, is +.10 for 2008, +.14 for 2009 (40% growth) while forecasting long term they expect growth to be "more aggressive than 40%."
With a PE of less than 3 for 2009, EGMI is a mega-bagger in the marking IMO.
(1) EGMI recently signed a five-year licensing agreement for distribution into Native American Indian-owned Casinos and Lotteries. It implies approximately an additional $0.02 in pre-tax earnings for 2009. This may not be factored into the guidance identified above:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=32191035
(2) Recently, Lord Steinberg has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board. He has a very impressive background in the gaming industry. His contacts and industry experience are likely to expand EGMI's growth. In addition, he has been buying large blocks of shares in the open market.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?Message_id=29832911
(3) EGMI has an investment in a mobile phone company that may provide a sizeable gain as they have plans to IPO in the near future.
(4) EGMI is expanding into games and toys. Their first product in this area is a game for the very popular children's series "Thomas and Friends."
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?Message_id=30699277
(5) EGMI is considering a stock buyback program due to the fact that they are sitting ontop of so much cash.
(6) Electronic Game Card Started At Buy By Roth Cap
