Are you a real investor? Someone who buys a stock because you wish to own a piece of the company? Someone who's interested in more than a 1/4 scalp or 3 point swing play? Someone who actually understands the underlying business, reads the annual report, and votes on the annual proxy?
I am too. This thread is born out of this post which I made recently on Poet's Corner:
Every post about a stock made here should be supported. Doesn't matter whether it's positive or negative about the stock; if it's supported, it fits the criteria. If it's unsupported, whether it's pro or con, it's gone. Posts like "XXX is a great stock, check it out" will be deleted; it's your job to point out WHY it's a great stock.
If you routinely buy stocks without even getting the annual report or 10K, you probably shouldn't be posting here. If you routinely buy stocks that don't even issue an annual report or 10-K, you definitely shouldn't be posting here. Unless you just don't know how to read these and would like to learn so you can learn to invest better, in which case you definitely do belong here.
For ease in finding posts, we recommend that you put the stock name or ticker in the first eight words so it will show up in the message list.
