Right on. The study appeared to have used two groups of patients. I believe the first group was given the drug + supportive care, the second group only got the supportive care. No one in the first group (itolizumab arm) died while about 30% participants in the second group (control arm) sadly passed away.

Very robust outcomes, imo.

The Biocon person said its about 25,000 to 30,000 Indian Rupees. Right around 10.50 minute mark and again she repeated after few minutes. At the later time she didn't identify the currency by which costs are measured. Agree there lies the confusion I believe.

It's kinda hard to believe they'd let it go for $400 for the one time and done treatment in the US.

EQ Should be plenty of opp tomorrow for a second killing. This is a real deal. Not a vaccine (if that ever comes) and not a cure. But a one time administered drug that keeps the inflamation down so the patient can 1. stay off the cursed ventilator and 2. buy time to build up their immunity.
It's the inflammation that's killing people with Covid and Itolizumab effectively knocks the inflammation down. It is already an approved drug for psoriasis. This was a Phase 2 test for use with Corona Virus.
To my thinking, it's partly a de facto cure. It's the best thing I've seen so far.
