email this opinion to their CEO as guidence to him how to lead a sucessful company, LOL...
Ouch! Good luck, my friend!
lost $1000 on EONC so far. I'll buy into the dip to average down
Rustler makes a good point that I would expand upon. EONC is killing the stock because they have no competent IR department. If you call them you always get a recording and never a person. I have emailed IR twice and left two messages by phone to no avail. They have an absolutely passive attitude toward the stock and the shareholders. I do not often see this in companies that do what they do and make the money they make. Zero share support in the form of a PR to discuss the recent quarter success and to boot I have never seen guidance. If I am wrong and you folks have had a different experience let me know. I feel like every Q is a crap shoot. Like many I have played some bounces here but I am amazed because this company could be doing so much better. Complete and utter lack of caring or respect for shareholders. Just my honest opinion.
$1.39... so not too bad. Ford (F) has become my new favorite big board stock of late; so I re-entered with a small position here.
what PPS did you get back in? I got in at $1.54
Sounds good. Fingers are crossed!
the bid is rising and no one sells at the bid. Volume is extremely low. It's bouncing up
I hope. I do not see a reason for that to happen though.
the PPS will look better after Jan. 1st, 2012
Repurchased in hopes of seeing EONC rise again. :(
you sold at $1.65 so you have nothing to worry about. I am still holding my shares
I have money in my account, but scottrade said its not available until next business day; otherwise, I can buy some shares. I'll buy on Monday if price below $1.50
I did sell at 1.65. Probably will accumulate now.
if you hit the sold buttom at 1.65, you were lucky
Buy on the dips if you've got the powder to burn for EONC.
why are you so sure that it could?
EONC could break $3.00 per share, and I stupidly had mine set to sell at $1.65!!! DAMN!!!
I do not, or I would have HELD for a much higher price!
yeah. Just read the 10-Q. Last quarter was a .05 EPS also...
Did anyone see the .12 EPS. If that is accurate the price here should skyrocket. Anyone have any input on that. EON has not put out their own release yet either.
bullish triangle...MACD crossing here...could see run for HOD before EOD
Mine are the shares that sold for the LOW of the day... DAMN!!!
HOLY COW!!! I JUST GOT ON MY COMPUTER FOR THE DAY!!! I HAD MY SELL ORDER SET WAY TOO LOW!!!
I think the Q is a positive Rustler...check it out.
Some real asshats keep sitting on the bid trying to pull this down!!! Jerks!!!
WHERE IS EVERYONE??? EONC is rocking the house!!! Support forming at $1.13 - up from today's low at .922!!! That's amazing!
GOLDEN CROSS ACHEIVED AND PPS ON THE RISE!!!
GOLDEN CROSS IS CLOSE... SLAP THAT ASK!!!
HOWEVER, the stock is WAY undervalued, even considering its current financials. This stock MUST rebound to at least 1.50 per share!!!
WTH happened today??? This is getting damn disappointing fast!!!
Next earnings announcement is December 12th. Hard to gauge it.
Don't sell...keep the ask at $1.97. There is a quarterly due out in three weeks. This company's revenue line has continued to increase. They had some one time roll out problems with a specific product that affected net income but that will not be the case this quarter. If you can wait three weeks or less (if there is a run-up into the earnings) then you will be rewarded IMO.
Where is the damn bottom for EONC??? New 52-week low hit today at $1.08 per share! :O Ouch!
The Street ... you know, the famous analyst outfit for Wall Street, etc. It was released yesterday.
Who is this from, and when? Can you provide a link. Yes it sucks but there is another Q coming in a month. I won't sell before that!
THE STREET CUTS EONC OFF AT THE KNEES...
RECOMMENDATION
We rate EON COMMUNICATIONS CORP (EONC) a SELL. This is driven by a few notable weaknesses, which we believe should have a greater impact than any strengths, and could make it more difficult for investors to achieve positive results compared to most of the stocks we cover. The company's weaknesses can be seen in multiple areas, such as its feeble growth in its earnings per share, deteriorating net income, disappointing return on equity, poor profit margins and weak operating cash flow.
HIGHLIGHTS
EON COMMUNICATIONS CORP has exprienced a steep decline in earnings per share in the most recent quarter in comparison to its performance from the same quarter a year ago. The company has reported a trend of declining earnings per share over the past two years. During the past fiscal year, EON COMMUNICATIONS CORP swung to a loss, reporting -$0.44 versus $0.22 in the prior year. The company, on the basis of change in net income from the same quarter one year ago, has significantly underperformed when compared to that of the S&P 500 and the Communications Equipment industry. EONC's net income has significantly decreased to a crippling loss of -376.5% when compared to the same quarter one year ago, falling from $2.38 million to -$1.06 million. Return on equity has greatly decreased when compared to its ROE from the same quarter one year prior. This is a signal of major weakness within the corporation. Compared to other companies in the Communications Equipment industry and the overall market, EON COMMUNICATIONS CORP's return on equity significantly trails that of both the industry average and the S&P 500. The gross profit margin for EON COMMUNICATIONS CORP is rather low; currently it is at 20.40%. It has decreased significantly from the same period last year. Along with this, the net profit margin of -16.80% is significantly below that of the industry average. Net operating cash flow has significantly decreased to -$0.28 million or -118.28% when compared to the same quarter last year. In addition, when comparing to the industry average, the firm's growth rate is much lower.
Damn it... just give me my bag and an "L" on my forehead. :(
LOL... WRONG WAS I!!! The bottom is an enigma for EONC now!!! :(
Right now it's near a 52-week low. I suppose it's a good time to LOAD the boat!!!
