Listen to the questions I asked in the conference call. All I can say is see ya at the second quarter and will see 5 a share after that.
Thanks!
good luck man
I took my 50% and ran
but I will be back
What were you expecting? Thats way lower than most thought it would be....If your going on analyst estimate, you need to do some research on their past estimates. I've listened to the call and its the same story as every other company...Outlook is GOOD.
Thanks!
Estimates: -0.03 | -0.045 | -0.06 (High | Mean | Low)
-.17 isnt better - it is allot worse
Just listened to the conference call and when you get a chance, just listen to that...This should help you out, good things said on it.
They have done very well compared to alot of others in industry.
Are you kidding, compared to what was expected, this was amazing. I am actually impressed.

Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc. is dumping an average of 50000 shares daily. Today was over 80000 They are 10% owner of this stock. I dont know what they know but they have dumping now for a couple weeks leading into earnings next week. Either they are keeping a lid on the price and plan to drive it down and reload before earnings or they just want out. Check the SEC filings they are happening daily. They still own over 5 million shares

I thought this stock would be gradually going up but it seems like it's going down a bit. Does anyone think this stock will hit the .20's again anytime soon? It would be great to load up again at those prices.
On March 27, 2009, the Company reduced annual base salaries of all employees based on a sliding scale determined by each employee’s then current compensation level, including the annual base salaries of the Company’s NEOs, effective as of April 1, 2009. The salary reductions and new annual base salaries of the Company’s NEOs are as follows: (i) Walter F. Ulloa, the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, 15% reduction from $876,000.00 to $744,600.00; (ii) Philip C. Wilkinson, the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, 15% reduction from $876,000.00 to $744,600.00; (iii) Christopher T. Young, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, 12.5% reduction from $350,000.00 to $306,250.00; and (iv) Jeffery A. Liberman, the President of the Company’s radio division, 12.5% reduction from $393,500.00 to $344,312.50.
that's a total reduction of $355,738 a year!!!! I'm sure the Exec's are too happy about it, but I'm sure they understand it'll help get thru these rough times. Viewer and listening audience is up... the numbers will follow soon enough!!! IMO
Thanks for the info boston. I had a buy limit order in place so I was able to get in on the .20's and now basically made a 50% profit in a day. Congratz to you as well for buying in at that price and earning a nice change as well.
Unfortunately I haven't been watching EVC closely because my attention was on another stock that jumped 300% since I bought in about 1-2 weeks ago. I'm expecting it to jump another 300% in a week so I've been watching it very closely everyday and doing as much Due Diligence as I can on the company.
I will definately pay more attention to EVC now with the link you have sent me since it appears EVC is definately starting to pick up the pace. I'm expecting EVC to go up steadily in the upcoming weeks. I definately think hitting .50-.60 is right around the corner so I will also buy as many shares as I can in the lower .30's to try and double my earnings.

A summary of the current news with credit from Boston to everyone that didn't catch it:
-"Dish Network Corp. and Time Warner Cable Inc. each reached multiyear agreements to deliver Univision Communications Inc.'s Spanish-language programming, a niche that has shown viewer growth in the U.S. despite a broader decline in television viewership. Dish, the nation's second-largest satellite-TV provider behind DirecTV said its agreement on Wednesday would distribute Univision, Telefutura and Galavision to its network customers." April 1, 2009
-"SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC - News) announced today that its Los Angeles based radio stations have generated significant growth among key demographics in 2009." April 2, 2009
-"On March 27, 2009, Entravision Communications Corporation (the "Company") reduced annual base salaries of all employees based on a sliding scale determined by each employee's then current compensation level, including the annual base salaries of the Company's named executive officers ("NEOs"), effective as of April 1, 2009. Such salary reductions may be deemed to constitute amendments to the Company's NEOs' individual employment agreements, even though no amendments to such employment agreements are expected to be drafted and executed. For details regarding such salary reductions, please see Item 5.02 below." April 2, 2009
I definately think EVC will be hitting .50-.60 in the upcoming days/weeks and currently is showing a nice support line.
pretty sure the companies that ARE looking to spend on advertisments sure like those numbers!!! Along with the news released yesterday and in Feb and we look in pretty good shape here.
Entravision's Los Angeles Radio Stations Post Significant Audience Growth
New "El Gato" Format Drives 200%+ Ratings Increase at former Indie stations KDLD / KDLE 103.1 FM
SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE:EVC) announced today that its Los Angeles based radio stations have generated significant growth among key demographics in 2009.
"Entravision's Los Angeles station cluster is off to a very strong start in 2009 as we deliver substantial growth among key demographics coveted by our advertisers," said Jeffery Liberman, President of Entravision's radio division. "Our successful 'El Gato,' 'Jose,' and 'Super Estrella' formats have proven to be extremely popular among our core Hispanic audiences, adults 18-34 and 18-49. We are excelling at what we do best - offering relevant and entertaining content to our devoted listeners and delivering valuable consumer groups to our advertisers."
Since the launch of the company's contemporary Mexican Regional format "El Gato" on KDLD / KDLE 103.1 FM in January this year, ratings have increased over 200 percent among adults 18-34, according to Arbitron's Personal People Meter (PPM) ratings system. "El Gato" replaced the former Indie format, which was moved online. In February, the station garnered a 2.2 share of adults 18-34, up from a 0.7 share during the last month the station played the Indie format.
Entravision's "Jose" format airing on KLYY 97.5 FM is currently the number one radio station in the San Bernardino/Riverside market, according to Radio & Records, regardless of language. On February 11th, 25 percent of all Hispanic men ages 18-34 listening to radio in Los Angeles tuned into KLYY to listen to the soccer match between Mexico and the United States. The game generated a 2.8 rating overall in the Los Angeles market. The station will continue to broadcast all of Mexico's soccer games leading up to and including the World Cup in 2010.
Entravision's "Super Estrella" format on KSSC / KSSD / KSSE 107.1 FM is also seeing momentum in its share of listeners, leading up to the station's biggest promotion of the year: Reventon on July 18. The popular concert will feature top Latin music artists and is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees and will take place for the first time at the Staples Center, Los Angeles' premiere live concert venue. Super Estrella will be also producing an all-day Reventon experience street festival on Chick Hearn Way outside Staples Center which will open to the public at no cost.

missed the dip under .30 this morning but freed up some funds and got in at .31 for now. She's got plenty of room to go.
exactly why I wish I added on the dip to .29
if we get below the .30's again I will grab as much as i can. This is a strong company.... just hit bad with the economy. The spanish population in America is rising. It will be our second language legally soon for christ's sake!!! I have a strong feeling she'll be back in dollar land this year. Might take a bit but I'd rather play a more than likely 200% gainer than some effed up pick that could go any which way these days. Hell... coulda profited 30% just off the dip today. We'll get thru this economic situation sooner or later... and that's when the question will be asked.... "how do you want your money"
"In hundreds" I'll reply.....
The average trading from the past 3 days went down .05 cents. Mondays & Tuesdays average trading was .41, Wednesdays was .36. I'm going to try to load up on .25.
I'm going to see how it does when it opens tomorrow, hopefully I can get in on .25, but if not I might have to try high .20's.
I will be doing the same. I don't think we will be seeing the .10-.20 range only because experience has taught me that most stable companies after recovery from hitting rock bottom rarely hit rock bottom again in such a short time period, which is why I'm going to load up as much as I can when it dips into the .20's again.
that dip to .29 then run up to .41 gave me a good amount of confidence today. I will definitely be buying if we break into the .20's again.
exactomundo!!!! I mean.. I could sit here and try to trade other picks... maybe make some gains... maybe loose... etc etc... (not saying that I wont) but I see this as a pretty good long bet. I hope and think .15 was the bottom for us here, but who knows. Hell... it dropped to .29 when I last posted and now at .39 .... wish I had moved on that.
Let's see where this goes rest of the week....
Thanks, I'm going to purchase half of what I plan on investing in this company in the .30's, give it a week or two and try to get in on the rest in the .20's.
I've been reviewing this company's financials and I agree. This company overall is rock solid but is taking it's toll due to the recession. No doubt in my mind from what I reviewed in all SEC reports that this company will pick up again, it's just a matter of when.
definitely watching this one.... might add more on this test back into the .20's
