https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/et Do you see mid teens in the last year?
Be careful----he just might tell you how old he is and how good of a trader he is. LOL
ROTFLMFAO!!! Yes, by all means review the charts!! You stated that ET had "never seen 20's and hasn't even traded in the mid-teens," which was pure fiction. Anyone who has reviewed the chart knows it has traded in the mid-teens and low $20's not that long ago, i.e. within the past 2-3 years, and in the $30's as recently as 2015.
Also I have been in ET since it was 5 and have done very well with it. Who cares?
Its not anyone elses job to figure out your bullshit posting. Ive been in this issue for quite a while so I knew your post was bullshit. FFS Now move along.
Look at the charts! I am not here to assume that nobody doesn't look at the charts ffs.
You seem to like telling everyone youre older and how long youve been trading.
Doesnt mean youre good at it.
Oh BTW if you are going to post some stats be sure and also include the time frame for context. I would think some one as old as you would know that?
If one is peaking of within a certain term, one should state the term and not say never. ET is doing fine, has done fine and do fine for the forseeable future do fine IMHO.

I am talking about the last few year look at the chart ffs. I am older than you are and have been trading for 30 fricken years.
Do some research. Most older investors do that.
You might want to review a historical chart. ET traded in the $30's within the past 7-8 years, e.g. 2015 and traded in the $20's more recently than that. ET traded in the mid-upper teens pre-COVID and did not drop below $12 until COVID hit in early 2020.
Yea right this thing has never seen 20's and hasn't even traded in mid teens.
I agree. I am still holding a few shares, but not buying right now.
Disappointing to see the pullback from the May-June highs, but ET is holding up better than many tickers in the energy sector. I w9ill just keep holding and reinvesting all of the significant dividends down here at these undervalued levels to increase my stake. ET will return to its previous normal trading range in the mid- teens - low $20's in time
I would not get too excited about business with China. I expect serious friction in the not too distant future and a contract with China may very well mean nothing. JMHO
ET scores a 25 contract from China.
I guess China is no longer pissed at America.
Why are we selling them gas if they are such duchebags?
Brandon must have gotten a call on the green phone.
More dirty fossil fuels. LOL
Easy money here. + Distribution.
Man, when distribution is restored back to $1.22 (not if, but when), my ROI here will look splendid
And they plan to return the payout to prior levels in time.
My position is going to look really good once the distribution is back at $1.22
And assuming 6-8% yield, PPS should be another 30-40% higher.
36% increase to the dividend. Up to .20. Goal is to get back to 1.22 yearly.

We are in a weird place today.
Oil prices have gone up to political manipulation.
Even my dog can see that.
Come Nov, Biden becomes neutered. His moronic energy agenda will be killed. EVs are cool for inner city limited trips to run errands, but it will not replace combustion engines. First off, the infrastructure and battery technology is just not there. The graphene battery is the holy grail but too expensive.
Common sense says America will be drilling like mad again. Net exporter again. Oil will drop like a rock.
ET needs to bank over the next 2 years. I love the push for a bigger foot print in the Liquid nat gas space.
Gas prices should have had this stronger than this.
It is getting close to my target to add some more.
Favorable transaction that will enable ET to pay down more debt:
Energy Transfer Executes Definitive Agreement to Sell Its Interest in Energy Transfer Canada

30%+ short term upside. Nice!
Yes, very good news. Market is irrational, so this PPS still lingers close to $10. Oh well, I guess we keep DRIPping
Raymond James Maintains Strong Buy on Energy Transfer, Raises Price Target to $14
Great blowout earnings report with strong beat on both top and bottom lines. But the best thing to come out of the earnings release and conference call was this:
Doing good so far! Check it out
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ET/news/
Agree. ET +2.3% today and shaping up to close out the week strongly.
BTU just reported huge earnings! ET will do same but jerks in Washington have investors worried but they can’t get around it w/o gas and coal the world won’t spin
Many folks are still frightened away from this sector because of what we now have in Washington DC.
Back above $10 and new lager capital distribution/dividend is on the way soon. And let's not forget the recent (12/8/21) article in Entrepreneur which pointed out that ET was/is still trading at just 5.6 times forward earnings, is rapidly paying down debt, reducing long term debt by $6 Billion thus far this (last) year, has plenty of free cash flow, and that ET's 12-month median price target is $14.
Its got a long way to go to get back to what it was.
I hope so. I'm surprised it didn't jump more after the increase in dividend.
Near two-months high. Looking forward to 52W high relatively soon.

I import all tax reporting directly to my tax return electronically from my brokerage through my tax software. It does all the work for me.

This has $12 potential in the next few months. Suppressed energy stock going into winter. No reason people shouldn’t be loading up for the dividend that’s coming either with their cash flow and % dividends compared to market
Yep just buy and trade. Gains or losses
If one buys and sells ET without taking any dividend
are there still tax reporting issues?
I have held some oil & gas MLPs in the past and took the dividend and then had to do all the associated tax reporting.
So just wondering if one does not take the dividend, is it just a buy and sell trade?
Understand. Learned that lesson holding MLP's and LP's outside tax-deferred retirement accounts years ago with KMP and now only hold ET and others in tax deferred retirement accounts. KMI took the entire KMP MLP inside KMI and that is not an issue over there now.
FYI: I'm out of ET, to simplify tax reporting.
Invested in IYE energy shares on recent dips at a little under $30.
I still like ET; Don't like the structure and tax issues it creates.
Prime opportunity today as now we tip into the 7's. Better back the truck up even if oil goes up this thing goes up then takes a dive.
Energy Transfer is a Texas-based company that began in 1995 as a small intrastate natural gas pipeline operator and is now one of the largest and most diversified investment grade master limited partnerships in the United States. Growing from roughly 200 miles of natural gas pipelines in 2002 to approximately 71,000 miles of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), refined products, and crude oil pipelines today, the Energy Transfer family of partnerships remains dedicated to providing exceptional service to its customers and attractive returns to its investors.
Through several transformative transactions, we have expanded our scope of services. While we remain committed to the natural gas industry, we enhanced our diversified portfolio of assets by making a strategic entrance into the NGL business through the acquisition of Louis Dreyfus’ NGL storage, fractionation and transportation operations in 2011. In 2012, we acquired Southern Union Company, a leading diversified natural gas company, which expanded our national footprint and added more than 20,000 miles of gathering and transportation pipelines to our portfolio. We made a strong entrance into the crude oil and refined products business by acquiring Sunoco, Inc. in 2012, including its interest in Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. (NYSE: SXL). We expanded our reach in the refined products and convenience store business with the acquisition of Susser Holdings Corporation, including its interest in Susser Petroleum Partners LP, (now Sunoco LP - NYSE: SUN). These acquisitions, together with our already robust asset base, have enabled Energy Transfer to become a premier provider of services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, and refined products.
Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (NYSE:ETE) is a master limited partnership which owns the general partner and 100% of the incentive distribution rights (IDRs) of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (NYSE:ETP), approximately 23.6 million ETP common units, and approximately 81.0 million ETP Class H Units, which track 90% of the underlying economics of the general partner interest and IDRs of Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. (NYSE:SXL). On a consolidated basis, ETE's family of companies owns and operates approximately 71,000 miles of natural gas, natural gas liquids, refined products, and crude oil pipelines.
