This has been the action, we have been seeing since the bk announcement. Its been trading this way all the way down. Should have sold the first day.
Not looking to good, keeps dipping and dipping and, yeah.....
It may gap to .16 in the am
Should be interesting to see what happens if it breaks .155 range.
BATS is looking batty, keeps flashing .1501, I thinks we have a huge short position out
that's what I was saying at .26 lol wow! we're about to hit .16!!
Looks like we are getting some good bid support. Should be on our way up shortly.
because they cannot come friday lol. I am reluctantly holding now through delisting hoping for one of those after delisting runners, I would just like to break even:)
The biggest development is that nobody is shorting now. Covering and accumulating
.142-.146 is cover zone right now, and accumulation
I hope. because i'm looking at a sea of red
This puppy is ready to roll
.14 was bottom, reversal just happened
The way the action is, this could move north, and gap up in the am
Covering going on now
I hope your right. .30 sounds good for a double!
If I was 1 penny off and it goes up from .14, not too shabby imo
ok .14 my bad, lol
.really ?! lol
Buy time in at .15
not sure, will trade sideways shortly after
So my question: Knoll sold 5,300 of his 200,000 shares. proceeds of the sale were about $1k. obviously insiders and holders are now able to sell.. why would Knoll not selling all 200,000 and pocket other $50,000? yeah he will probably be taken care of post BK, but why leave the cost of a nice mercedes just sitting on the table to evaporate???? unless something was in the works? i'm not into conspiracy theories but that seems weird
Q is added Friday
When does the Q go on ? eom
Screwed, imo. They already announced that the common's will be canceled. If folks would only read. Personally i think this will go sub penny, in short order.
Does everyone think it will go below .10 before the bounce? Also I'm not too familiar with bankruptcy. Does chapter 11 mean they will recover from this eventually? Or are they basically screwed?
I agree! Today's open @ .1706 broke ENER's support @ .20 ..could get really nasty here :)
It will go much lower imo.
there are lots of naysayers, but I have sold out early on sooooo many runs.. most notably when I was 17 and put $2k into PPC @ .12 after it first filed BK, wimped out and sold at .11.. welp we all see now that it hit $12. I could have been independently wealthy before I hit 18. Lol. if you're in this for the run don't sell before it runs, it is that simple
I placed an order @ .10 lets see if it gets filled someday
(a) i'm now averaged @ .21, (b) there is not any worse stock-drop related news than the bankruptcy, therefor I honestly firmly believe the delisting will have NO effect on the stock price, period. Obv I jumped in too soon but once the bottom is found itll be a great day for those who pinned the bottom! that is for sure!
I think that he was referring to a news story about BASF buying battery-related businesses ...including ENER's Ovonic Battery.
1.- Which $ would be your entry point for this stock?
2.- Before or after being delisted from Nasdaq?
which news ?
correction it did not go down down down and down, on Aug 16th it hit .11/share. august 22nd it hit .20 a share, so, for the right people (those who bought in @ .11) they saw about a 90% rise in share price- 90% of .21 is .40 cents, which also happens to be my magic number. I believe there will be lots of interest in this stock starting today, for the better.
With that said, i will buy Friday at the lowest price (last day before delisting) @ .18 or lower and set TP 50%. What do you think ?
If you check my posting history, you will see I expected EK to do a swan dive. Was I right? No. So I am definitely not perfect and not an expert like you say. Wish i was my friend. You'd think after trading online for 15 years posting on Yahoo for many, many years under another alias, I would never make mistakes, but I do. Nevertheless, as long as I have more profitable trades than losing trades, then I'm fine.
With that said...
Will ENER bounce before delisting or shortly thereafter? I think so. My wild guess would be at .18 - .20 for a 50% bounce. That's it. Will it go down afterwards to an equivalent market cap as ESL* in time...like you ask? I think so. The problem is imo ENER appears to be liquidating (Ch. 7), but is actually restructuring (Ch. 11) so I agree with you that ENER will be worthless after the short-term bounce which I believe is forthcoming. JMO
Hi, i assume you are an expert trading Q's. This is my question for you.. very interested in your answer please.
- ESLR stock
Before BK was trading @ 0.42
August 15th, BK day, it lost 57% to see $0.18
August 24th, stock went to OTC, but continued DOWN and DOWN until $0.01 !!!!!!
**** NOW, considering ESLR and ENER are in the same industry, do you think ENER will go down and down to $0.01 ? instead of going up like Eastman kodak, AMR, etc ????
Will appreciate your answer to help people in this board.
Remember buy low and sell high...OUCH!
What do you think of these specific lines ? .....
"There is no assurance that any market maker will decide to quote the Company's common stock immediately following delisting by NASDAQ, or at all, and thus there is no assurance that the Company's common stock will be eligible to trade on the OTC BB or the Pink Sheets."

First Solar, the largest producer of solar panels through June 2010, is the biggest advocate of using Cadmium Telluride.
So far Cadmium telluride is the first and only thin film photovoltaic technology to surpass crystalline silicon PV in price per watt of peak power, but this price advantage seems to be eroding as price of raw silicon has decreased and Chinese manufacturers increase their production of multi-crystalline panels.
There are some concerns about the future of Camium Telluride based panels, specifically the very limited availability of Telluride and increased concern in Europe about long-term toxic affects of Cadmium.

The Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy said it conducted an appraisal of recent tests on CdTE PV modules by independent scientific institutions.
According to the analyses, it was found that if disposed of "in an improper and unprofessional way", the modules pose a threat to the environment. "The only way to rule out the risks associated with the use of cadmium in PV," explained the institute, "is to refrain from using cadmium in the first place. This requires non-toxic substitutes to be readily available, which they are (e.g. silicon-based PV)."
It went on to say that cadmium should not spread in green solar technologies, but needs to be disposed of safely. It added: "We believe similar problems may exist with lead in the silicon based modules mentioned above, although manufacturers of those modules have expressed their desire to comply with RoHS legislation should this be directed."
The scientists backing the institute include:
• Prof. Joao Pedro Alpuim, University of Minho, Portugal
• Dr. Stephan Bannas, Theodor Wessels Prize Laureate, Germany
• Dr. Daniel Dahm, Federation of German Scientists, German Association of the Club of Rome
• Dr. Antonin Fejfar, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Czech Republic
• Prof. Takashi Fuyuki, Nara Institute of Sciences, Japan
• Prof. George E. Georghiou, University of Cyprus, Cyprus
• Prof. Martin Green, University of New South Wales, Australia
• Yutaka Hayashi, National Institute of AIST, Japan
• Prof. Ferdinand Hucho, Free University of Berlin, Germany
• Prof. Tadashi Saitoh, Tokyo Agricultural & Technical University, Japan
• Prof. Ruud Schropp, University of Utrecht, Netherlands
• Dr. Markus Schubert, University of Stuttgart, Germany
• Prof. Jürgen H. Werner, University of Stuttgart, Germany
For its part, First Solar confesses to have in 2009 given out between €100,000 and €150,000 for lobbying purposes. According to reports, the PV company is also being represented by the law firm Kuhbier and is supported by the controversial PR agency Burson-Marsteller.

"Many analysts have predicted an increase in demand for tellurium, a key ingredient in First Solar's panels, and one of the rarest substances on Earth. If tellurium demand rises (and the potential of ENER's phase-change memory product, which contains tellurium, will be a factor), First Solar's costs will go through the roof and Uni-Solar will become one of the leading thin-film producers.
