u could see $12 in about 18 months.....
Needs to happen but it seems like it's going to have some issues getting through until after 2016.
Starting to look very attractive for the mid term.
No oil/coal/energy in general reached its bottom, shorts covered, + global news=what took place this past week. I plan on buying on the pull back. More rig and BTU also!
Do you think this rally has been largely influenced by Syrian escalation?
I added last week and today...its looking good!
If Russia can't aim their cruise missiles any better than that we may see a $100 a barrel sooner than we think.
Encana (NYSE:ECA) +6.4% premarket after agreeing to sell its Denver Julesburg Basin assets in Colorado for ~$900M to an entity 95% owned by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and 5% by The Broe Group.

Up $4 in about a week. I am averaged in at $12.78 so hopefully I will see green in a week or 2.

Well said.. Ty for your help I appreciate it.
@Baller - $ECA is a major producer in Canada and for all producers there access to world markets has been difficult with exporting restrictions. While I am not versed on any impacts of pipelines $ECA may have but better access to markets is critical to better pricing and volumes to their products.
Will this Ticker have any exposure to the Keystone pipeline if/when it opens ?
$ECA opens to solid gains after reporting that its assets in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Duvernay and Montney basins produced an average of 257K boe/day in August, up 15% from 223K boe/day in Q2.
HOUSTON — Encana Corp. said Tuesday it will sell $850 million of Louisiana shale play acreage to a partnership between a closely held Woodlands oil and gas driller and a private equity firm.
The properties, located in DeSoto and Red River Parishes, Louisiana, total 112,000 net acres and 300 wells in the Haynesville Shale. After the deal closes in the fourth quarter of 2015, they’ll be owned and operated by GEP Haynesville, a joint venture between private driller GeoSouthern and private equity shop GSO Capital Partners LP.
Nice Bounce just getting started!! with winter on the horizon might be set up to be a good swing play !
Encana (NYSE:ECA) +2.9% premarket after agreeing to sell its Haynesville natural gas assets in Louisiana to GEP Haynesville, a joint venture formed by GeoSouthern Haynesville and funds managed by GSO Capital Partners, for $850M.

ECA +0.3% is upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform with a $15 price target at BMO, which finds ECA's stock valuation highly compelling and trading at a discount to its peer group median.

Encana (NYSE:ECA) reported its Q1 operating earnings tumbled 98% Y/Y to $9M from $515M, after factoring out a $1.2B impairment charge largely related to slumping oil and gas prices, but still came in ahead of analyst estimates.
Oil is getting clobbered today! Russia is feeling the pain! It's GeoPolitica!
With all coutries pumping oil out at the max the price should go down to $40 per barrel in a few months!
Company is sitting on a lot of debt too!
Company sitting on a lot of cash, and oversold will keep an eye on reversal.
Cause we always agree with Cramer lol.
So far U.S. shale oil production has blown past the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) estimates.
Two years ago, EIA predicted shale oil production could reach 2.8 million barrels per day by 2035; just a year later, in 2013, the U.S. produced 3.5 million barrels.
The agency has now forecast a 37% increase in shale oil production between 2013 and 2020, based on output from nine different regions.
Prices continue to drive higher?
It appears that some do not want canadapetro in their portfolio.
ECA: sweet chart…..great call bud….congrats…….$$$
