Once the stock breaks the block at .185, I expect(hope), it will trade above 20 centavos soon thereafter. As for the revenue call, a number at 20M or above should gets lots of attention. Company could be on its way to a $100m fiscal year which commenced ironically on April Fools Day.

Good question, the new facility is strictly for packaging as stated in the conference call. So the approved manufacturing facility under the filed ANDAs still stands. As I alluded to the first 3 commercial batches, which most likely would be packaged in the new facility would go up on long term stability. You are allowed to sell these immediately. Elite will have the FDA approve the new packaging facility prior to shipping any commercial lots. Hope this clarifies.

We all expect professionals to be able to do their jobs well, but the reality is few perform exceptionally. That is why we pay the big bucks to go to the very best doctors and hire the very best lawyers. If every CEO were able to pull off what Nasrat has there would not be so many generic drug companies in debt and losing money. So yes, sadly inconsider what our CEO is doing as rare. If all generic drug companies were run as well as Elite I doubt our drug shortages would be as severe.

All doctors should be able to quickly diagnose and competently treat any problem equally using your logic. That is my minimum expectation but not my experience.

Would you just let any doctor with a license and practice treat you or your family?

Wow, a well thought out post on what Elite is doing well with no emotional flashbacks to what they should have/shouldn't have done in the past, or any accusations of how the CEO is committing crimes or conniving to take advantage of shareholders.

This shouldn't be such a surprise. This is called independent thinking and critical analysis. I'm capable of learning facts and thinking about them in the context of other known facts and then deciding if those facts represent a good thing for me or a bad thing for me. I'm also capable of expressing my thoughts in ways so that others can understand my analysis. The very best part of all of it is that I am happy to say whatever I think without giving a rat's ass what you or anybody else says about it.

Not many generic drug companies have pulled off profitability while maintaining quality and performing within legal boundaries (unlike Nostrum).

Good christ this is the bare minimum of what I expect from him or any CEO. Why are your expectations so low? Profitability while maintaining quality and performing within legal boundaries? Isn't that what we pay him very handsomely to do?? I damn well would expect him to be working in the best interests of all shareholders, but all too often his business decisions seem to benefit only the largest shareholder- himself- many times at the expense of all others. If you would like for me to detail the multitude of ways in which Hakim has used Mikah to take advantage of Elite shareholders, then I'm happy to do it, but I didn't think it was within the scope of my post about Percocet and Norco and the quality goals of the Elite label. I can distill the good from the bad and describe both with equal enthusiasm. I'm sorry if you cannot, but at least you have me to do the independent thinking and critical analysis for you. You're welcome.

Elite pharmaceuticals is the only company on the OTC that has been profitable for the last 5 years and that is growing quarter after quarter. It has a P/E ratio of 9 versus 25 where it should be. In the next 12 months, it will add a market of 11 Billion dollars to their generic. we are talking of a 5000% growth minimum !!!

It has been kept at 2-3 cents for years and now it started its climb up in the last year - but we have barely scratched the surface!!!

Elite just leased a new space doubling its capacity - and has built new vaults to store the materials and the finished goods. You can't lose on this one and join the next millionaire run!!!

As these products were originally approved from this site, no additional stability work is performed. For filing and ANDA, you have 6 months in 40C/75%RH this allows you to file and then you have the long term stability 24-36 months 25C/60%RH. This is for the filing or a new site approval. Once you start commercializing you have to put your first 3 commercial batches on long term stability and then one batch annually. Hope this clarifies as these products should not have any stability requirements prior to launch.

Nice, I can tell from your post that you are not unhappy with customers double checking that they have the right drug (its smart they do that and should!), but with the inability of companies to keep their drugs on the market. Its their unreliability that puts you in the position to need to reassure customers they are getting the right medication. This constant flux also makes it less likely the patient will double check and make sure they have the 'right' medicine as they have to do that so frequently they are going to be prone to just thinking its a manufacturing change. In the world of medicine everyone should be double checking that is happening should.

Is that during the period of preparing the ANDA application? Or is it after approval and as you prepare for launching the product?

Hi Imanjen13, yes what JamesF1 is stating with regards to the REMs is correct, all of the protocols are ready and the road map is clear and should be a pretty quick turnaround. With regards to the DEA they can submit quota request immediately as if they just got approval. I would anticipate the DEA would give them some quota to get launched. My best guess if they have everything in order is they would launch these products right after summer going into the fall season, best guess September/October in my opinion. Either way this is just more revenue streams coming into Elite and this was excellent news. As others have stated I am excited to see the roadmap Nasrat lays out next week during the conference call. There is definitely more behind the scenes than we know about. Two of the biggest tels to me were the new facility and then all of a sudden we really see that law firm Troutman/Pepper referenced a lot on out SEC filings. Connecting the dots in my mind is that we already have a potential suitor in the wings. Good luck to all and have a safe and Happy Fourth of July next week!!

This might be the right way of thinking about a generic OxyContin, which is a low-volume high-margin drug, but I'm not sure it is the correct strategy for Norco and Percocet, which are the opposite: high-volume, low-margin drugs. With these drugs, the key to success is finding the sweet spot between price, quality, and AVAILABILITY, and the current team at Elite seems to be very good at this. They are building the Elite label into something that pharmacy buyers will know is a reliable source of quality products, especially Schedule II drugs and drugs in shortage. They seem to be doing an excellent job of getting Elite's drugs listed with distributors and available for the pharmacy buyers to select. You don't have to be the lowest price on the list, as long as you're on the list and you have a well-regarded reputation with product ready to ship. Elite management is doing a good job of finding higher margin opportunities, like the Prasco partnership for Adderall, and I hope to see similar agreements in the future for more of our drugs. In summary, I believe the success of Norco and Percocet should not be judged by the market share obtained but rather by the profitability achieved by most efficiently using their allocated DEA quota. The products on the Elite label should not be the lowest price or highest volume. Elite products are highest quality and reliably available, and it will be important to maintain that reputation across the entire product line.
