I am having a look at this one too.
Have to work out how to buy shares on the TSX though (from Australia).
Needs to expand or sell license to produce - lots of new interest on latest version - would think Telsa will go with technology. Just made initial purchase.
So, are you still long here?
no news on the two storage projects lately, nor any new orders. would they not wish to project any progress for several reasons?
IMO they must be working on several bugs
This stock has a strong buy rating for several months, yet continues to dissapoint wrt pps, what gives?
is management solid or is a change needed?

Selling in Toronto in late 2011 . . . have not heard boo since then. good news to come soon. would love to see one of these on the road.
I have always found the easiest access to their website is through the Yahoo site, click on profile and then click on the link beneath the initial address, etc., info and that takes you there and from there it is self-explanatory. If, after perusing all that is there, there is no longer a link to the replay, it may well have expired.
I have always found it informative, to listen to the calls. The questions asked seem to garner tidbits which give clues as to what they are working on. Dr. Gupta does not release anything that is not already concrete, but often when he speaks of what is ongoing, you can read between the lines. He is careful not to reveal things that are not yet factual. This is all imho.
Everywhere i look this is a strong buy.
holding.
a link to the confernce call would be appreciated
not easy to find opn their site, that's for sure
IMHO. there will be several press releases in the latter part of the year. I beleive that the idea of licensing the EFL clean manufacturing method, which is among their many patents may be an interesting sleeper here.
The storage area also holds much promise and I think they are in talks with a number of entities for much of their ongoing products.
I will continue to hold. Did you listen to their last conference call?
Yes I have a small position. Still waiting for more news on the power storage deal, like who is the customer and how is that going; also more about the Hero scooter deal.
Yes. Are you?
are you still an owner today?
Hi, also from Canada. Any idea on what happened with PPS today?
if electrovaya is listening
we could use some PR
where is news on excess capacity storage project?
got caught up in the hype at wrong time
learned a lesson
still, like the stock. need to hear more news on the south US electricity storage project
hi. canadian. from toronto. new to the board..

Having a stock run like efl did, ends up with many shares that were bought at much lower levels...
There is Resistance levels that will take effort (news) to get through...locking in profits...
But looking very strong in holding all gains, and being able to increase...
They even have a relationship with Malcom Bricklin, for his prestigious automobiles.
The MAYA 300, capable of highway speeds, built by Miljobil Grenland AS of Norway, will be available by the end of 2009.
They are working with TATA of India, are already collaborating in China and with EXXON and are in talks with many others,
Sometimes, you can catch the EXXON commercial which has a picture of one of the vehicles and their batteries are in those cars.
They have facilities ready to mass produce, when that time arrives.
I have been in Electrovaya for several years now and am starting to believe that their time is coming. They are now just beginning to roll out their business plan.
One interesting thing about the company is that the CEO, Sankar das Gupta, still owns 65% of the company and the building in which it is housed.
If you visit the website, you will see the details of this, IMHO, gem in the rough.

Electrovaya (TSX:EFL) is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of its proprietary Lithium Ion SuperPolymer® battery systems. Electrovaya's mission is to accelerate clean transportation as a commercial reality with its advanced power systems for all classes of zero-emission electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Electrovaya also offers battery-related consumer products primarily focused on the healthcare market.
http://www.electrovaya.com/company/master/Default.aspx
Strategy:
Electrovaya's strategy is to build strong partnerships and joint-ventures with well-intentioned, visionary leaders. The disruptive business potential of electric transportation has shaped its belief that natural partners include traditional automotive players as well as non-traditional players or emerging start-ups. The division's current broad focus is a result of the industry's youth and the uncertainty of which vehicle segment will be the most lucrative. Electrovaya aims to be a dominant global player in this industry of near and long term explosive growth.
Focus:
Electrovaya's advantages drive its focus on plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and full zero-emission electric vehicles (ZEVs). These applications require a balance between energy and power density. (Electrovaya does not focus on mild hybrid applications that require only power density).
For both PHEV and ZEV applications, Electrovaya is focusing broadly across all vehicle classes. These include:
Advantages of Electric Vehicles:
About BEVs:
A battery electric vehicle (BEV) uses electrical energy stored in a battery for motive power. A BEV has few moving parts and only 4 principal components: i) battery, ii) electric motor, iii) motor-controller and iv) on-board charger. It is sometimes referred to as a zero-emission vehicle or ZEV.
About PHEVs:
A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) extends a conventional hybrid concept to enable two "refuelling" options. Current hybrid vehicles charge or "refuel" the battery only with the fossil fuel dependent internal combustion engine. A plug-in hybrid offers the flexibility of "refuelling" directly with electricity or indirectly with fossil-fuels. By definition, a PHEV describes a wide spectrum of vehicle designs that vary with the ratio of electric drive to conventional drive. At one end of the spectrum, a PHEV could refer to a mild hybrid design augmented to allow the flexibility of "plugging-in". On the other end of the spectrum, it could refer to a dominant electric drive design such as full electric vehicle with a conventional drive "range-extender" for long journeys.
