I just wander how the PIP is doing. Wildcatter and the two others posting about the great invention many years ago. Have they been making any adjustments to the PIP? Just a few alterations would have perfected this. Maybe a few tweaks? Boy, I love the pinks. No accountability whatsoever. 44% of 0 is still 0.
how are all those wonderful eldo shares paying off?
Good news: we're up 1200%!
Bad news: tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the expiration of the corporate charter.
On balance, the bad's have it... but it was worth a shot.
GL all
I would have made him an offer for this "shell", if it were clean, but bought another one. Biomedical, going Public 9/1/2012.
what happened to the eldorado slam dunk? where is wildcatter?
We just started looking for a good clean "shell". I wonder about this one.
Just like a snake with it's head cut off. Although it wiggles, it isn't going anywhere.
Good luck storming the castle
It's only mostly dead, which means its a little bit alive.
IMO, we can assume that this puppy can be classified as dead.
Etrade gives me the following message:
Let us know if Ameritrade trades for our info. Thanks
You also might try TD Ameritrade
I haven't bought on Etrade for a while. Let us know if you do.
Anyone know if an online broker allows buys or sells in EDEP?
The filing may in fact refer to the wrong person or company on the given link but the bottom line is e-trade has suspended my ability to trade shares of EDEP. Not that it matters my once 30K+ shares now 632 shares are worth $1.37. Merry Christmas ALL and have a Great New Year..John
Merry Christmas everybody. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
The SEC file relates to a Mr. Pratt, not EDEP itself and not the CEO of EDEP: http://www.sec.gov/litigation/admin/2011/34-65005.pdf
The DTC suspension (http://www.dtcc.com/downloads/legal/imp_notices/2011/dtc/ope/1856-11.pdf ) is clear enough...
history repeating itself unfortunately. last 3 public companies of this ceo ended up with the same conclusion.

It was "wildcatter," which is probably what you meant. He has not posted since October 2009, but he has not cancelled his free IHUB membership, either.
If I have done this right (big if), his posts are here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profile.aspx?user=84068
Sorry Kingman for the mistake. I was in one that went 2,000/1. so 50/1 or 2,000/1, a reverse makes for a lost cause. If you have a lot of shares, you have a willing buyer. My opinion remains the same.
Okay, so the price should go up. I guess the fact that only 100 shares show on the Ask is indicative of at least two things: (1) the Ask is not really the price at which shares trade, and (2) someone wants to show something artificial by having an Ask of a measely 100 shares at $0.005.

What 2000/1 , it was 50/1 and some of us do have that many shares .
Dog, after a 2,000 to 1 reverse, who in hell even has 15,0000 shares? $75 is not enough for even a good drunk.
Okay, I give up. I cancelled the order to buy something else.
For all the badmouthing of this stock, it is hard to buy. I have a 15000-share order (all of about $75) at the Ask (0.005), but no takers. I guess Level 2 says there are only 100 shares available at 0.005.
Anyone want $75 for 15000 shares?
dod, natural gas would have to go ABOVE $7.00 and STAY THERE before it would be profitable to build a pipe line from New Mexico to where ever we would have to go. So look at several years of time before this can happen. How our end of the project would benefit shareholders and their anticipated returns on investment is only a pipe dream left to grand children to receive.
So EDEP has a stake (but not a lead stake) in the natural gas? I assume that the lead (Geo Surveys) eventually will develop this natural gas find and that development will benefit EDEP... right?
I've done some investing in the oil market and done well. However, as long as the big boys can continue to "broker" oil from the Middle East, just sitting on their capped wells will make them very very very rich when the Middle East runs out. Our Bakken district has 100 times as much oil as the Middle East, but asking the politicians why we are not drilling is like pissing in the wind. It's the big oil that keeps them in office. Energy rules the World.
If the price of natural gas would climb back on a par ratio with oil we would have something but until this country decides Nat gas is best for our future and we convert to it the price wont come up. Personally Im hoping oil goes through the roof and we are forced to use gas, then we will eliminate the surpluses and the prices will go up.
We did hit Nat. gas. Lots of it. Enough to work the field and more.
But we were not the lead and the lead team wanted oil. (Geo Surveys)
They (Geo Surveys) still has it in their pocket.
Kingman, I knew when I invested that it was a roll of the dice. I have never bitched about not hitting oil. but we did hit natural gas, correct? What are the assets currently worth? what has pissed me is the lack of communication. If we've lost, .....tell me. A reverse split, does nothing but screw the first investors, and as you can see, it did nothing to bring in new players.
I am glad we're talking about wildcatting. The prior suggestion that Tom was a wildcater had me worried? What would a wildcatering menu look like? Now that we're talking about wildcatting, I know that oil is on the menu!
Yup thats it. Thats what they call it wildcatting so when you buy in you know the risks are very HI. I think it shows he never hid behind the fact this is a wildcat speculation play which was pretty honest .
Thanks, Cowboy, and sorry to hear about your break-even point. Myh break-even point is in the neighborhood of where we now are, so any uptick that makes the shares liquid would be a boon to me.
Go $EDEP
IMO, for what it's worth blue dog, I don't think that this pink will ever run again. I told you that my break even was roughly $5.00 a share. Speculators are getting very hard to find, so to get some to like wild cating, will be damned hard to do. I've held on to my shares for no reason, than the current market would cost more in commission than I'd get in return. I'll see what I need for tax relief and go from there. My fault for not doing DD, and I've had fill of Pinks. I wish all well, but I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell this will ever fly.
So what kind of PPS rise would $EDEP see if he actually found oil somewhere? The share structure is pretty lean, and the it just rose a 1000% on about $300 in volumne...
The word "wildcater" comes to mind. Kingman knows, if he still reads this board.
When Tom makes an appearance, what handle does he use?
It would do wonders for my confidence if he (or whomever) would re-up the EDEP business license, which expired at the end of July 2011: http://nvsos.gov/sosentitysearch/CorpDetails.aspx?lx8nvq=SXsCIVXSBTIL7hJNooGWEA%253d%253d&nt7=0
The corporate status shows as "Default," as opposed to "Active." As I understand it from the Nevada SOS Office, EDEP has until July 31, 2012 to re-up.
I agree bluedog...been here for years...just get on now and then to see if Tom makes an appearance and to see if the "oldtimers are stell here...still have our vastly shrunken shares, too...
gamblingal
I'm neither a pumper nor a basher. Just a relatively small shareholder. I like having the board here, and I doubt that offends the EDEP principal(s) personally. Too much bashing prevents or may prevent others from entering the stock, but "we" (i.e., EDEP and the EDEP shareholders) are either going to hit oil or not. If we don't, our stake will be lost. If we do, the bashers will recede. I cannot believe that bashing here will prevent EDEP from getting financing.

WEBSITE: http://www.eldoradoexploration.com
Eldorado Exploration, Inc. is an independant oil and gas exploration company with rights to drill on over 60,000 acres leased in New Mexico, Texas, North Dakota, Illinois & Nebraska.
Eldorado Exploration approaches oil & gas exploration with an intelligent and sensible philosphy. Eldorado's high caliber veteran oil & gas experts qualify projects that maximize shareholder value by pursuing achievable prospects that have multiple confirmations of potential, from both the PIP process and standard geological methods.
The advancements in exploration technology and passive induced polarization (PIP), allow Eldorado Exploration to profit from newly discovered oil & gas reserves not previously detected. With recent innovations in exploration techniques, Eldorado is able to discern which potential targets have sufficient reserves to be a commercial success, and which do not.
Eldorado Exploration's mission is to combine the latest of technology, including PIP, current established standards in geology, geophysical science, telluric, seismology, computer enhancements, and other available methods to discover the largest commercially viable oil and gas deposits. By focusing on prospective targets with larger accumulations we are able to increase our success rate.
Eldorado Exploration is an independent oil & gas company headquartered in California with operations in New Mexico and Texas. Its shares are listed on the pink sheets under the symbol EDEP. Eldorado Exploration has a strong commitment to its shareholders, the communities where we conduct business and the environment.

EDEP KEY PROSPECTS:
New Mexico - Eldorado Exploration has drilled the Mesa #1 Gas well on an 11,000 acre structure in New Mexico with 95' of logged gas sands. Completion and testing are scheduled to be done in the 2nd Quarter 2008. There could be up to 50 gas wells on the company's acreage. These sands have been prolific oil and gas producers in other parts of the Permian Basin but gas is expected to produce on the Mesa leases. Eldorado Exploration, Inc. has 11,300 net acres over the center of a possible 30,000 acre gas field.
The company has also leases two additional lease blocks west of the Mesa field that have a similar PIP signature reading of gas. These leases are 14,000 acres and 16,000 acres in size.
Note: New Mexico is the 2nd largest state in gas production.
Texas - The company is preparing to drill an Ellenburger test in Comanche county on a 400 acre Seismic and PIP identified target that may have up to 5,000,000 bbl in recoverable reserves. Eldorado expects to have a 20% working interest.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Technology and Well Operations:
The company takes advantage of PIP discovery technology to identify targets overlooked by other drillers because of their incomplete or unsubstantiated geological information and uses those wells to produce oil and gas exploration for the production to be sold to nearest refiner or pipeline.
Eldorado Exploration possesses what it believes to be a significant business advantage over the competition through the use of a proprietary exploration methodology referred to as Passive Induced Polarization (PIP). This process has been developed over the past 15 years and combines a series of technologies including seismic, passive induced polarity, radiometrics, tellurics and computerized enhancement supported by surface and subsurface geology and geophysics. PIP was developed by a geologist and a geophysicist (the PIP Group) who have devoted their careers to petroleum exploration in the Texas oil patch. Since 1992, over 50 wells have been drilled using this technology. By using PIP, these two geoscientists have been successful in the discovery of three new oil fields, resulting in the drilling of over 50 wells with only six dry holes. Just as 3-D seismic has greatly improved the success rates in drilling, the PIP Group believes that it can take advantage of PIP discovery technology to identify targets overlooked by other drillers because of their incomplete or unsubstantiated geological information.
The Company plans to fund its efforts and all assets that will possibly be acquired will be used to generate income for the company.
