Meet Eastside Distilling
http://www.eastsidedistilling.com/about/
Eastside Distilling has been producing high-quality, master-crafted spirits in Southeast Portland’s Distillery Row since 2008. We believe that locally-produced spirits simply taste better, so all of our unique products are made right here in Portland, Oregon from natural ingredients in small batches for unparalleled quality and taste.
Eastside Distilling introduced Below Deck Rums, the first in a series fine and flavored rums in 2009, and has since launched several more award-winning spirits, including Burnside Bourbon and Portland Potato Vodka, and our new Cherry Bomb Whiskey. Eastside also produces small batch and seasonal products like our Holiday Spiced Liqueur and new Peppermint Bark and Egg Nog Liqueurs.
Specialty rums here for the sea goers and boating classes. Looks like a good one to keep on board.

Also check out the Huffington Post article on Eastside's Burnside Bourbon:
“Eastside Distilling has been named one of Portland’s top five distilleries (and there are many, many distilleries in the area), and for good reason. As reviewers have said, its burn will put some hair on your chest, but its balanced flavors will keep you coming back for more (and mixing it in your cocktails).” – Huffington Post

Below Deck Silver Rum
Below Deck Silver RumBelow Deck Silver Rum is a clean, smooth and slightly sweet light rum that will compliment any cocktail – from tropical drinks to the classic rum and cola. As a mixing rum, Below Deck Silver holds its own when blended with strong citrus flavors and other mixers. We suggest the venerable Mai Tai or the spunky Mojito as a fun “first date” in your long, satisfying relationship with the popular, dependable Below Deck Silver Rum.
The choosey bartender’s choice for a dependable, adaptable rum
We have many innovative recipes, still, we encourage you to try creating some of your own drinks. If you make a delicious cocktail using our products, let us know. We’d love to hear about it! If we like it too, we will add it to our recipe list.
For refreshing, summer time drinks, a citrus base works very well. If you are looking to warm up, a toddy or hot cider is another great choice.

Nice article on Eastside Distilling in Luxe Beat Magazine:
In 2008, when Earles’ distillery launched, there were only 210 craft distillers in America. Now, there are more than 700. Whiskey and bourbon continues its rapid growth. Helping to fuel this recent growth, women now represent 37 percent of the whiskey drinkers in the U.S., compared to just 15 percent in the 1990s.

oh hey BCN nice find
Not a one trick pony
Unlike most other craft distillers, Eastside doesn’t rely on just one or two products for success. It has an entire line-up of award winning spirits, including vodka, bourbon, and rum.
Here is another really good article on Eastside Distilling:
Disrupting the $23 Billion Spirits Industry
Eastside Distilling (ticker: ESDI), one of the few publicly traded craft distillers, having received a ‘strong-buy’ rating from Harbinger investment research, is about to launch an ambitious nationwide expansion plan that could make it the nation’s leading craft distiller.
By J.B. Tipton
INVESTORS NEWS SERVICE
In 2008, Lenny Gotter, founder of Eastside Distilling (Ticker: ESDI), turned his passion for high-quality, handcrafted rum into a fledgling distillery on Portland, Oregon’s famed Distillery Row.
Today, after having won a dozen awards, raised over $2 million in financing, and awaiting completion of a new state-of-the-art facility, the now publicly traded company is poised to bring Portland’s favorite spirits to the rest of America (and beyond).
Eastside’s move has the potential to make it a major player in what is shaping up to be a major disruption of the $23.1 billion spirits industry.
Repeating the success of craft brewers
Like the recent craft beer boom, craft distilling is having a seismic impact on an entire industry.
According to Steven Earles, Eastside’s CEO, “Craft beer completely disrupted what was once believed to be a very traditional business, and craft spirits are following the same trajectory.”
Craft beer volume jumped 18% last year, and craft brewers now account for one out of every 10 beers sold in the U.S. On average, a new craft brewery opens its doors every single day.
Likewise, craft distillers have grown from a handful of one-man “hobby firms” in 2006 to over 700 today. And many, like Eastside, have a proven ability to siphon business from industry giants.
Grabbing market share and growing profits
Although craft spirits represent just 1.7% of the total spirits market by volume, their market share by revenue is considerably higher since they tend to sell for premium prices.
According to the Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. (DISCUS), in 2014 craft distillers sold approximately 3.5 million cases (up from 700 thousand in 2010), generating revenues of $400–$450 million.
Like their counterparts in the beer segment, craft distillers succeed by introducing new products and new versions of traditional products to take advantage of changing tastes, particularly among younger customers.
And Eastside has found the formula for satisfying both buyers and shareholders.
Not a one trick pony
Unlike most other craft distillers, Eastside doesn’t rely on just one or two products for success. It has an entire line-up of award winning spirits, including vodka, bourbon, and rum.

Nice article! I especially liked this:
In 2008, when Earles’ distillery launched, there were only 210 craft distillers in America. Now, there are more than 700. Whiskey and bourbon continues its rapid growth. BCN just found this:
just found this: http://luxebeatmag.com/since-craft-beer-has-disrupted-the-industry-whats-next/
Since Craft Beer Has Disrupted The Industry, What’s Next?
“Craft beer completely disrupted what was once believed to be a very traditional business,” says Steven Earles, CEO of Portland-based Eastside Distilling.
“We believe craft spirits will follow the same path as craft beer. It’s basically a slam dunk, according to the data… and our overall hunch.”
And stories continue to unfold regarding possible bourbon shortages due to high demand. Innovations in distilling methods to create new flavor profiles are taking charge. Earles’ distillery uses locally sourced barrels and ingredients for their infused whiskeys and rums.
Might be in more than one location in Indiana, the one listed seems to be a distribution channel.
