UPDATED 9/08/09 **SEPTEMBER EARNINGS INFO W/ CHARTS!! ** IBOX
In M&A news, U.K. confectioner Cadbury Monday rejected a surprise GBP10.2 billion ($16.73 billion) bid from Kraft (KFT), saying it fundamentally undervalued the company and its prospects. But the U.S. food giant said it is committed to working toward a deal despite the rejection from Cadbury's board. A deal would create a company with annual revenues of some $50 billion and a market share of 15% of the world's confectionary market, according to analysts. Kraft, whose brands include Velveeta cheese, Oreo cookies and Philadelphia cream cheese, said it offered to pay 300 pence in cash and 0.2589 new Kraft shares for each Cadbury share, valuing the U.K. company's share capital at GBP10.2 billion.
However, analysts said Monday that Kraft will have to sweeten the offer by around 7% to at least the equivalent of 800 pence to get Cadbury's board to the negotiating table and prevent rival bidders from emerging.
Elsewhere, Morgan Stanley (MS) is looking to exit its back-office operations in India and is considering a part or full sale of the unit, according to local newspaper reports.
The potential value of Morgan Stanley's entire back-office operations could be between $150 million and $200 million, or around $50 million solely for the knowledge process outsourcing operations, an unnamed investment banker said, adding that Infosys Technologies, Wipro and eClerx Services were potential buyers.

August Totals
What an incredible month. It may be the best month I've ever had since the dot.com bubble days.
We had 81 total closed trades. First of all, I want to say that for me, that is an enormous amount of trades. We were certainly taking advantage of the market and its volatility.
81 total trades. 61 of those 81 trades were wins or nulls for a 75% winning pick percentage which still pales in comparison to our winning pick percentage in July.
20 of the trades were losing trades.
We had some huge huge huge winners in August.
The profit total from our winning plays came to $157,422.00!!! The losing trades resulted in $20,035.00 in losses. If you subtract losses from profits, you get a net profit total of $137,387.00 for the month.
Now I'll share some personal information with you. I removed $30,000 from the model portfolio this past month to eliminate all my credit card debt as well as purchase all new curtains and such for inside the house. I'm still sitting at STEP 142 on our progress chart after that.
Technically, I need to make 58 more trades at 3% or better to achieve that $1 million dollar mark. I'm obviously not going to go all in on any play but will continue to diversify and trade as I have.
I'm going to get there. I want to take as many people with me as I can. I understand that we are all at different levels but I receive many many PM's, and you can read public testimonials here on the board too. People who frequent the campus are seeing their accounts grow by leaps and bounds. You will find that as your dollar total increases, and you manage money correctly ( I use all my margin which is risky but I feel my experience cancels the risk somewhat ), you should be doing very well over time
Remember that it is a marathon and not a sprint. Do not be in a hurry. Let's do it!
Need a play? Throw a dart and make some bank.
The first top half of the board- is created to monitor BEAR MARKETS.

July Totals
In July we had 27 closed trades.
ALL 27 of the trades were profitable.
27 out of 27 gives us a 100% batting average.
Profits from July came to a grand total of: $41,117.00

Seeing that we could be nearing a short term top a number of plays may see a nice reversal from their lows...a number of these charts/pps are at about 15-25% of last years highs and are starting to look attractive as *precaution plays in risk allocated holdings.

DOW 30- Overview/charts
The Delta is used to measure the sensitivity of an option when compared to the stock. In other words it tells you how much your option will move for every one point move in the stock. If you have a delta of 50 that means your option will move $.5 for every move in the security.
