They will do everything to push it above a dollar again as to not face delisting imo..
I agree and did add a little this week.
This is a great stock to short and make money on that way. Its still going to go down before it goes up.
Wont stay down here forever, low volume shakes....

DNE $0.285 nice resistance break - very important - lets hope for some more!
For sure it looks better than yesterday
Adding some more here ...
Absolutely, just needs to break and hold over 0.40 on the next run to get the train rolling imo.
DNE is undervalued at these levels right now thats for sure - dont you think?
Maybe not 1.27 but half to three quarters of that figure in the near term imo..
"Let's hold our carrot out at the $1.27.."
Read Between the Lines - Outlooks for DNE

I'm taking another look at this gem. I think Oil is heading way up.
Obama will be stiffling offshore and just looking back at a few.
I always liked DNE, but haven't been in in over a year.
Time to be watching again. $.00 a gallon we will see this Summer.
Why not everything else has just fallen into Obama's agenda.
more wishfull thinking
well we had a very bad day on Thursday... but no excuses - I was wrong with my prediction
That would be GREAT
That would be GREAT
when more volume comes in soon imo,we see .40 today :)
LOOKS GREAT and some idiots below cant figure it out it has to bug them.
choo choo :)
10Q filed...Wonder if the bk attorneys whispered to the specialists to run DNE and unload it recently...Most of the funds have already offloaded...
If they couldn't make money with oil as high as it is now then the leaders need to be leading somewheres else...
Maybe the best is ahead...LJ
Nice maybe more.
DNE looked great today - could get interesting tomorrow... Tim
Looks like a nice day and maybe week. Some CLOWNS have NO LIFE.
I agree and glad I added but now lets see s few big days.
<<<Well even 1 dollar would be great.>>>
Hi James,
Have you given up on your
I agree. I think it's possible to get to $1 later this year.
Mike
Well even 1 dollar would be great.
It seems extremely undervalued given that some of the assets it will be selling for almost 3 times the current market cap, and it will still have substantial proven reserves remaining. There's a reason this was a $20 stock several years ago.
All IMO.
Mike
Well I may add more here at the .26ish level.
extremely thin to a dollar..maybe with the right news..
Added DNE at .27
<<<Bidding .31>>>
Hi James..... a bit premature, I'd say.
But it shouldn't matter if this call comes through! <LOL>
#msg-49582509

Bidding .31
Great post.
Well I see that and I am ready.

Reserves
Dune Energy, Inc. (DNE), an independent exploration and development company incorporated in Delaware, has operations focused along the Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coasts. Dune’s strategy is to grow organically through low-risk exploitation and development and higher risk exploration of its existing properties and acreage. This will be supplemented with opportunistic acquisition of underdeveloped properties that complement Dune’s existing portfolio. Dune continually reviews its portfolio to high-grade its properties. This process resulted in the sale in 2008 of its Barnett Shale assets, approximately 33.5 Bcfe of proved reserves, for $41.5 million. Dune’s total proved reserves at January 1, 2010 were 105.5 Bcfe, consisting of 62.3 Bcf of natural gas and 7.2 MMbbls of oil.
Gas 62.3 Bcfe = roughly $150 million(using $2.50 gas)
+oil 7.2 MMbbls x 85$/bbl= $612M
January 1, 2010 were 105.5 Bcfe, consisting of 62.3 Bcf of natural gas and 7.2 MMbbls of oil.

Dune Energy, Inc. (Dune) is an independent energy company based in Houston, Texas. The Company is engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and exploitation of natural gas and crude oil properties, with interests along the Louisiana/Texas Gulf Coast. Its properties cover over 100,000 gross acres across 23 producing oil and natural gas fields. During the year ended December 31, 2008, Dune’s total proved reserves were 132.9 billions of cubic feet equivalent (Bcfe), consisting of 83.8 Bcf of natural gas and 8.2 million barrels (MMbbls) of oil.
At Garden Island Bay, the Company completed a reverse time migration and depth conversion of its three dimensional (3D) data and formed a partnership with a private entity to market these prospects to industry partners. When drilled, Dune would retain a minimum of a 15% working interest in the prospects plus benefit from any marketing revenues or interests. It anticipates the initial test on this 4,900 acre joint venture late in 2009 or in 2010. At Bayou Couba, the Company is in the process of converting the 3D data set to a depth migration. The Company focuses to maintain a 20-40% working interest in this 13,000 foot test. At Leeville and Bateman Lake fields, the Company has formed private company partnerships to drill new wells in which Dune can elect to participate at varied working interests or be carried for the full cost of the well and maintain an overriding royalty in the resultant production. The Chocolate Bayou, South Florence, Comite, North Broussard and Live Oak fields consist of 46% of its total reserves. As of December 31, 2008, approximately 50% of its proved undeveloped reserves (PUDs) requiring new wellbores are contained in these fields. The remaining 14 fields contain approximately 17% of its total reserves and are characterized by occasional new drilling wells and workovers.
