Black Friday is here. This market is terrible, so much fear. UGH
SHIP'S Current EPS of 1.00 Warrants a 10+ stock price IMO if the market would stop smoking crack! They earned a 1.00 eps in the roughest of times, and this before they added to the fleet. They are profitable and the coming quarters will only be better, the problem is not SHIP. The problem is the market not pricing things to the fundamentals, but that wont last forever. Eventually the stock price will have to play catch up. They have huge cash position, and only 60 mil os. Imo this is the best shipper to play
A 10 pe should be a conservative evaluation in normal times, it trades under 2 pe right now. The fleet has increased going forward should = more $$$$$$
SOME HIGHLIGHTS http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Seanergy-Maritime-Holdings-iw-1417124299.html?x=0&.v=1
"We are pleased to announce the completion of the MCS acquisition on schedule. We view this as a strategic and transformational acquisition for Seanergy. It increases our controlled fleet to the significant size of 20 vessels while decreasing the average fleet age, and we believe it expands our revenue and profit generation capacity"
"Freight rates continue to remain firm despite an uncertain market place. Currently, congestion at iron ore and coal ports is increasing due to Chinese demand on both products and India's demand for coal which helps offset the newbuildings coming into the market. We expect the harvest season in the southern hemisphere to help sustain rates although volatility will most likely remain. We continue to remain quietly optimistic on the long term outlook for the dry bulk sector due to the robust growth especially in the Far East region and the gradual global economic recovery"
" As of June 3, 2010, our cash reserves amount to $84.5 million and the Company now operates a fleet of 20 vessels. On a combined fleet basis, we have secured under period employment 93% of ownership days in 2010, 58% for 2011, 27% for 2012 and 19% for 2013 providing us with significant cash flow visibility"
the current growth outlook for SHIP, IMO does not warrant a $5 stock price, I think we need to see more profits and exposure to the spot market to realize that type of gain, I think $3-$4 is more reasonable, however if the company mentions plans to pay a dividend, its a whole different ballgame, $5 + in that case. Don't let SHIP be the only dry-bulk tool in the shed, EXM while more expensive, is a great value too, since they have currently have great exposure to spot market rates, and a low float, they have the highest potential to reap the most rewards to shareholders here. And the company that has the greatest potential for the largest dividend payout in a increasing rate environment.
gotcha....I am just waiting for a couple other stocks I have to come back up to break even so I can get rid of them to load up on more SHIP. You have any mark that it could hit by end of year? Possibly in the $5 range or would that be too soon for it to get there?
It will only take until next quarter to see a move, these are the most under priced cash flow positive dry-bulk company with assets, with nearly double cash than market cap! I have 10,000 shares
and what year do you see this??? We get an excellent update yesterday and yet the stock has went down today!!!! I just don't get it!!!! I have over 2000 shares and I am holding long term in the hopes that it will eventually do something positive for the true believers!
FSNR up 85% this morning
Freestone Resources, Inc. (OTCBB: FSNR) announces that it has signed a binding Letter of Intent with Santa Barbara-based WestPac Resources, LLC last week while in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Letter of Intent creates a Joint Venture Company between Freestone and WestPac that will utilize Freestone's EncapSol technology, as well as provide the capital needed to expand Freestone's oil and gas operations.

when you see a company that trades like NEWL that is a turnaround story, that is now cash flow positive with positive projected earnings, its a diamond in the rough, time will bring the assets back in line, and income will raise the share price. More money was recently invested than the whole market cap by the new owners. They are determined to turn it around. It's getting really cheap here IMO...
Looks like the fear is subsiding, might be worth to play a bounce, or see if he head back to new highs
JBII is now like many others JBII.....E for a while,
hey, we have (6) now?
VCTY ready to BOOM soon....
Merger news coming.
The Baltic Dry Index is a leading indicator of global demand for raw materials, it's on Fire!!! WOW! http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?s=%24bdi
NEWL looks like a incredible long term money maker multibagger!
Time to play a bounce in shipping BDI on FIRE!
IH called 2.02 on RAS, closed 2.19
wrong China is helpless, they always took the side of North Korea, and China is a instigator trouble maker!
they won't go to war. China will bitch slap them, isolation can make some think more clearly. JMHO
we might break through 2008 lows! if a Korean War develops right before our eyes...
tom the sky isn't falling...it's an acorn
GEVI posted .30 EPS for 1st qtr '10. Seems very undervalued, somewhere just over 15 million OS. Roughly 8 million of earnings were from a sale
License to Print Money.....that about says it all.......et z
JBII = SLEEPING GIANT ABOUT TO WAKE UP
1. JBII's machine is a license to print money via its waste plastic-to-fuel process which has been validated by Islechem, a spinoff of a $70 billion NYSE company (NYSE: OXY).
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/JBI-Inc-Announces-That-pz-1245470791.html?x=0&.v=1
2. JBII has a temporary license to run this machine. The machine is running with tons of plastic successfully pouring in with fuel pouring out.
3. JBII is DAYS AWAY from a permanent license. With this permanent license, the money-printing machine will run 24/7 processing thousands of tons of plastic from everybody from Chrysler to Waste Management at a MASSIVE profit per barrel.
4. JBII will be the ONLY company in the world that's solving the plastic in landfill problem that not only uses a green technology, but it is MASSIVELY profitable (cost less than $10/barrel with a seemingly endless supply of feedstock). JBII will be promoted in the mainstream news. It's going to be a wild party.
5. This business model allows for easy and rapid expansion through duplication of putting machines across the country. Contract for 90+ machines already in place in Florida with Al Sousa, former executive of a multi-billion NYSE company.

really everything is coming unraveled
wow-we might test 2009 lows-the sky is falling.......JMHO
BLVI-- Excellent summer comin'... TV commercials
I agree SHIP just being held down by the market, company is undervalued and Investors are looking for entry, just need to either ride out the global credit squeeze, dollar cost average in, many I know got stopped out and are looking for the market to stabilize for re-entry. But my finger is on the trigger just like you said Hand to buy more on improving economic outlook, its on high alert and still a long termer!
DRL looks primed. Recent downgrade by CanFitz, along with them not getting any Puerto Rican bank pie pieces IMO has caused unnecessary selling. BV almost $7.50/share.
Bought FITB at $1.04 when book was $4's and sold in the $7's not long after.
Seeing the same potential here, and actually, DRL looks even better than that one did at a buck.
Buyers will come soon enough imo.
A buy imo.
