Take a look at the paper work relating to this I take it as they want authorized not add to the float this could be used to give more stock options as they hire more people to grow digp interest also this allows the company to keep control of the company in my opinion. the down side of a reverse split is add more share to the float and dilute us
all this news stock should be moving up any thoughts this company I would like to see a new lab open soon

Making Sense of Cannabis Strains Through Chemometrics in Review
April 4, 2019
by: Cindy Orser and Philippe Henry April 4, 2019
The cannabis industry is constrained by the continued use of acronyms and nonstandard abbreviations for strain naming in lieu of a scientific-based standardized classification convention or lexicon. Applying chemometric tools can result in not only the authentication of a given cannabis cultivar but also provide a quality control mechanism for both cannabis flower and any resulting cannabis-based drugs.
HEMP VS. MARIJUANA: Hemp legalization poses complex issues for all involved
https://www.kentucky.com/news/business/article44402439.html
NOTE: some clues re why reliable, high quality field test kits are needed by law enforcement, trucking companies, railroad companies, and legitimate hemp farmers...
(excerpt) "...The nightmare hemp scenario for Kentucky State Police apparently is a field legally licensed to grow hemp for grain with illegally planted marijuana mingled in.
Unlike hemp grown for fiber (when the plants are inches apart to promote tall stalk growth), the hemp grown for grain and marijuana plants would look substantially the same, said Jeremy Triplett, supervisor of the state police forensic lab.
Both could be shorter and bushy. The only way to really know, he said, would be to test for delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, the chemical that gives marijuana smokers a high.
Such testing could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, at $755 per quantitative analysis, not to mention $1.8 million in start-up expenses, state police have estimated.
Legal hemp, pot’s look-alike, creates confusion for police
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/28/legal-hemp-pots-look-alike-creates-confusion-for-police.html
** The only way to distinguish hemp and marijuana is by measuring their THC and officers don’t have the testing technology to do so on the spot.
** It’s an unanticipated hiccup for the rapidly growing hemp industry, which relies on interstate trucking to transport hemp from farms to processing labs.
** The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration put out a request for information on private companies that might have the technology for field tests sensitive enough to distinguish between hemp and marijuana.]
Emerging Markets Report: Perfect Timing
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/emerging-markets-report-perfect-timing-110000391.html?.tsrc=rss
ORLANDO, FL / ACCESSWIRE / April 10, 2019 / Breaking news from cannabis testing lab company, DigipathInc. (DIGP) yesterday regarding the joint filing of a provisional patent to genetically distinguish Industrial Hemp from Drug-Type Cannabis in the field certainly creates an intriguing new market opportunity for a Company looking to rapidly expand its testing business domestically and internationally. Industry publications like High Times have already reported how confusion and uncertainty by law enforcement in identifying what type of cannabis plant they are examining has led to arrests and confiscations for what was legal hemp.
In late February, as Drs. Orser and Henry were putting the final touches on the joint provisional patent application, the United States Drug Enforcement Agency put out a Requestfor Proposal (RFP) for a field testing kit. A simple review of Digipath's patent application reads as if the DEA was reading their minds.
The market for field cannabis and hemp testing is vast. Anyone growing hemp, shipping hemp, buying and selling hemp, and producers making hemp based CBD products as well as local and federal law enforcement including the DEA can all benefit from a quick and easy genetic-based identifier. In fact, they are asking for one now. Cultivators will now be able to determine if in fact they are growing industrial hemp or high CBD cannabis plants. This will allow for more educated farmers and a more educated consumer.
For some time, Digipath and their partners at VSSL had been looking to provide a solution in the marketplace, a more portable and expeditious way to provide some certainty about the inherent genetics of a plant sample. VSSL brings to the partnership a Cannabis technology company focusing on the development of diagnostic molecular markers to further understanding of the Cannabis-Human relationship. Philippe Henry, PhD, the Chief Scientific Officer at VSSL is a Population Geneticist and Cannasseur and has been working with Digipath's Chief Science Officer Dr. Cindy Orser for the past year.
What neither Digipath or VSSL could have contemplated in their push to market was a massive new potential customer entering with a pronounced interest in gaining clarity as to what they were surveying in the field when confronted with a sample that needs identifying.
While the RFP process can be uncertain and lengthy, Digipath and VSSL look forward to submitting proposals to the proper governmental agencies to help address this new market opportunity that could be substantive.
And in the meantime, Digipath and VSSL will continue to develop the field-testing kit for launch sometime later this year. Hindsight will say that their timing was just about perfect.
This stock historically has low volume, but this patent application could be huge. This is not a company for quick gratification, they have a well define plan and they are executing. This patent depending how it is filed could corner a market that could secure a huge government contract. Patience is the key, soon we will see the volume that will make this run!
what is going on with this stock today way over sold

Digipath, Inc. (DIGP) supports the cannabis and hemp industry’s best practices for reliable testing, data acquisition, cannabis education and training, and brings unbiased cannabis news coverage to the cannabis industry. Digipath Labs provides pharmaceutical-grade analysis and testing to the cannabis and hemp industry to ensure producers, consumers, and patients know exactly what is in the cannabis and hemp they ingest and to help maximize the quality of its client’s products through analysis, research, development, and standardization. Digipath, Inc. and Hemp, Inc. has entered into an agreement for Digipath to install a state of the art testing lab in all of Hemp, Inc.’s locations starting with the Medford, Oregon Local Processing Center. The second one will be installed at their hemp processing facility in Spring Hope, NC and the third one at the hemp grow-off in Golden Valley, Arizona. CEO Todd Denkin is also scheduled to speak at the upcoming Hemp University seminar.
Digipath recently announced that the HEMP INC. site in Oregon would be the first to have a Digipath Lab opened. Also sounds like a site in California is going to be opened soon and one in Colombia by end of year.
I wonder how much revenue Digipath could see from test kits? Any revenue is good revenue in my book.

Solid information here. Just for the heck of it I compared GBLX to DIGP, oustanding shares in GBLX are 5x greater at GBLX. As penny stocks go Digipath looks like a real steal right now. This could run to $1 soon. GBLX had a massive run to over $1 a year ago up from the .20 range like where DIGP is right now.

Digipath Inc. is a very interesting play in the cannabis sector. They have alot going on this year. Definitely worth an investment right now.
This is big news. I'm pretty excited. One day the world will see what we see with this stock
Digipath, Inc. (OTCQB: DIGP), a service-oriented independent testing laboratory, data and media firm focused on the developing cannabis and hemp markets, is pleased to announce that in collaboration with VSSL of Kelowna, BC, has filed a provisional patent application for a Field Testing Kit that can quickly determine whether a plant sample is actually hemp, drug-type THC or drug-type CBD.
https://mma.prnewswire.com/media/94753/digipath_inc_logo.jpg
Currently the only recourse for law enforcement to make a determination of what is being transported across state lines is lab based analytical testing of the mature plants for their THC content to come in under the 0.3% THC level. The Digipath-VSSL simple genetic field test will allow for a DNA-based assay to clearly designate if plant material at any stage of growth is industrial hemp or drug-type CBD and NOT drug-type THC. Inability to determine what a sample is, and if it is in compliance with prevailing law, has been an enormous problem for law enforcement, hemp farmers, and others looking to ensure full compliance. A recent High Times article details this problem, noting an instance where a fully-compliant hemp shipment was wrongfully seized due to a failure to properly identify the cargo.
As one of the premier testing laboratories in the United States, Digipath is looking to expand on its services with a mobile product to serve the market need for a test to distinguish the two cannabis strains. The patent application filing comes following a recent Request for Proposal for "Hemp/Marijuana Field Test Kits" posted by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency. The request reads as follows:
"The field test kit must provide specificity to distinguish between hemp and marijuana. It must be portable and rugged enough to be used in non-laboratory environments or ambient conditions. All products shall be the most current and up-to-date model/revision(s) available at the time of delivery. Anticipated maximum quantities to be purchased will be based on evaluation results and agency need."
"VSSL's Chief Scientist, Philippe Henry PhD and I, are very pleased to present an immediate solution to an industry need that parallels the stated Federal and State dilemma of proper genetic identification of interstate transported cannabis," stated Cindy Orser, PhD, Chief Science Officer, Digipath. "The need was abundantly clear to us and we were intent on providing a solution to this dilemma even before the government's request was posted. Moreover, the Request for Proposal appears to call for exactly what we believe our technology provides."
"This new 'Field Test' is essentially, a cross between 23 and Me and a paternity test for plants," stated Todd Denkin, CEO, Digipath. "Within minutes, our test can determine the nature of the plant sample and which drug-type it belongs to. We believe there is a significant market for this product, and the DEA's recognition of this need supports our pursuit of this opportunity
we need some news or this will get walked down
open market buys last week from both the CEO and CFO is good. The stock options awarded recently mean that Digipath is expected to do well this year I think.
do you what do you think about recent stock options
Agree, but to say volume is not that important is short sighted! Today volume was 20k which is a faction of a percent of the shares outstanding you will see minimal movement with that kind of volume. Liquidity is important for movement, there has to be buyers and sellers for movement regardless of news. This low volume means low visibility, and low visibility limits the number of shares that can be executed. Digipath is the real deal, I'm still uncomfortable with Hemp Inc because of the shares outstanding more likely to RS
Digipath has 46.93M shares outstanding. When the right news hits, this will fly. Such low volume in this means nothing regarding the price fluctuations 10% up or down. Digipath ambitions to open multiple labs this year will be a stock mover. I am holding tight with my shares. Lab testing is a completely underestimated sector in cannabis. The Farm Bill legalized Hemp so HEMP INC. and Digipath are going to do well in their partnership.
Something I think people are missing on this sight is "VOLUME" this stock trades at less than 100k shares a day, which means 3 or 4 people can impact what the buy/sell is. Until this stock reaches a "VOLUME" of 500k or more you are going to continue these swings. I think this company is executing it's business plan and we need to have patience the value will come.
Good after noon Chickpea how are we looking so far.
HEMP INC. up today. What is good for HEMP INC. is also good for Digipath Inc.
hope soon digp will get a big article on testing in a forbes exclusive
