I usually don't make perdictions but we should definitely move over 2 with that move alone and with enough buying pressure, we could really squeeze the shorts and move higher very quickly. The big picture, unless your a day trader, is that this company finally got their stuff together. Hold this year and you should be greatly rewarded, if your day trading then your looking for atleast another rise around 2.17 or so where it fell back the last time.
If the news are GOOD - where do you see we go?
2.30 $ - 2.50 $ - 2.80 $ or 3.00 $
please advise,
It has been averaging under a million a day for awhile now. They are suppose to release this week the information in regards to their debt lenders, should be great news.
Why is the volume so low today?
can anyone explain it?
Many thanks
I agree and I do beleive this manipulation on share price is due to them doing everything they can to continue to cover shares. After all my DD on this stock there is pretty much nothing to tell me what so ever to sell this stock but to buy as much as I can in these price levels. Good luck!!
I beleive that we will propel over 2 again with this news because it is equally as important as the earnings were. Being able to cut your debt sooner is a huge deal and a big sign to investors confindence. This time around I think we should stay around 2 or so and not dump like we did after earnings. Ofcoarse, jmo..Good luck!!
Waiting for signs of short covering and reversal to uptrend. We should have some good days ahead.
What do you expect with the PR coming? (about repurchase of the loans)
Are we going above 2 $ ?
Nice bounce and close here today!!
I agree, I will try to confirm which is correct although most on the yahoo boards are saying the 90%.
Yahoo info is showing 90.9 perent institutional ownership. TDA is showing 64.7 percent. I would rather have the 65 percent to allow for a bit more flexibility in trading for retail. Not sure which database is correct...big difference.
same to you..rev
thanks - i like the possibilities here. though that last move on earnings was dissapointing. guess the shorts are in control for now...
Ok good, you should do well!! Don't get me wrong, technicals are always good to follow but remember institutions own 90% of this low float stock and unfortunately they will be the ones no matter what right now in deciding where they want this. They have upcoming news on paying back their lenders earlier or on a better rate and a 30% increase on sales is absolutely huge. I personally believe around 1.56 now is the current bottom. Hold tight and we will be alright. Good luck to you!!
Always remember that T/A is simply about probabilities. Charts can be interpreted different ways by different technical traders. The last time I threw DEXO at him, his analysis was incorrect. But, his techniques and insight are super.
LOWTRADE is great. Don't always agree with him, but he does give honest feedback.
not trying anything and i did read it . just looking at short term t/a. i already own all i want for now.
Lol, no I don't think so. Nice try though. Obviously you didn't read their last report. This will go up!!
hey bucky thanks - love the lowtrade board...i posted a comment on his remark and chart on dexo in a responce to you ...is he thinking this could go to .95? thanks rev
As a sidenote for anyone wanting to learn how to trade using T/A, please see the IHUB board titled LOWTRADE. This guy is awesome and comes as close to my mentor as anyone (it's as if they're twins with their approaches). Simply type in LOWTRADE where you would normally type in the ticker. He has training videos and he will answer any question you have. And, the best part, is that he doesn't sugarcoat anything...he just tells you what the charts and trading action are indicating.
Highly recommend his thread. Lots of traders chat there.
Best wishes.
Technical indicators (T/A stands for Technical Analysis). It is a host of money flow indicators that provide visual signals based on trading activities that give probabilities of success for entry and exits when day and swing trading securities.
Google Technical Analysis and you'll get a million sites to review. They all pretty much say the same thing.
Some folks believe in T/A, and some don't. Personally I wouldn't trade a nickel in the market without the knowledge of T/A to go along with fundamental analysis.
Anyway, best of luck.
What does it mean to use a T/A to trade? Is this a site that recommends positions and probabilities? Sorry to sound dumb but I am new to trading. Been following Dexo for a while now.
Buckyboy:
I really apreciate your message. Sorry but i can't reply you in private but this is my email
( john.imul@yahoo.com)
I totally agree with you that the repurchase loans is a big catalyst. All we depend on the amount of loans repurchase.
My target is 2.5 $ ---- why not if we touch 3.0 $.
please send me an email so that i have your address too.
Enjoy your week end!
We share many common themes.
I am also a day/swing trader using T/A to minimize risk and maximize gains based on charts. Throw in a little money management techniques and candle analysis and we improve our chances for continued trading success.
Let's see what next week brings for DEXO.
Best wishes
Very much appreciate your detailed and informative posts. You present a convincing argument. I am a part-time swing trader , but holding companies that may provide rewards long term. I mostly shop small cap oils and biopharma, so no stranger to volatility.
Got 11K shares of DEXO, and hanging with y'all next week at least. Hoping for a damn good jobs report on Friday to keep the bulls running. Hoping real hard.

This poster nailed the DEXO situation better than anyone else I have seen so far. It's up to the leadership of DEXO to execute. Like I said before, they absolutely have the team in place to make it happen. Read their bios.
Good stuff.
SCI.
Good use of a stop loss to preserve capital. You also have very good entry points. Congrats on that.
See my comments re why I think we still have a shot at 3 bucks after the upcoming filings. I use T/A to trade. Provides nice reference points for entry and exit points. We are still in a long term uptrend from last October. Stock has double bottomed at 1.62 in most recent trading action. Speculators may buy and push the stock higher this coming week on anticipation of a nice discounted buyback deal.
There are certainly looming questions about their ability to eliminate their massive debt load while stabilizing their print business and grow the company into a marketing/sales/ad juggernaut in the U.S..
Analysts typically project a year out for big boards to determine valuation. As wild speculation, what would a company with 50M o/s, 1B in gross revs with 45 percent margins and no debt be worth? DEXO has the leadership in place to make this happen (maybe in less than two years...maybe...lets see what kind of deal they worked out when they file next week...could get real interesting).
Best wishes and all JMO
(This is my last allowed post for the day, so if you respond to me I won't be able to chat until tomorrow)
Good trading to you....
FORTIS
The K was great. Forward looking guidance for current Qtr is down a bit plus full year also (1.3B(ish)). Company projecting 500 - 550M EBITDA with 50M o/s and a reduction in overhead of 120M. Projected cash flows for next 12 - 15 months as indicated by company last Qtr will pay for everything, including continuing and actually accelerated debt payments. World class ruthless turnaraound team in place.
Debt reduction at a discount to be filed latter part of upcoming week. This could be a major catalyst for a move up (recent high was 2.48, there is a MM level/cup fill at 2.63, and another one at 2.96). If the numbers are big, then I still say we challenge 3. DEXO is very quickly becoming what they set out to be...a high tech versatile marketing/sales/search engine. They have partnerships with what appears to be many of the major players as indicated in their K. I love the Youtube video where they say that Google is located in the same office building and one floor up. They have partnered with Google to mature and increase their on-line presence (you gotta love their chances here).
Many shareholders disappointed at EPS for the 4th Qtr (11) as they were expecting 42(ish). After speaking with a 30 year accountant in my group for awhile about this, it would seem that many companies that carry substantial debt and are attempting to buy back debt at a discount will do what they can legally to show less net income to increase leverage with their lenders for discounted buybacks (it would seem that DEXO accounting may have followed this method).
What does this mean potentially? Debt is already being paid back ahead of schedule, and this would simply chop (hopefully) a quarter or two off of their projected debt elimination time.
I traded a bit on Thurs and rebought a bit at lower levels. I'm holding about 25K shares and will wait for the upcoming filings.
This is an AMEX traded 1.3B dollar company in what appears to be an on-going successful turnaround as they continue to pay down massive debt at an accelerated pace. The team in place has a couple leaders who specialize in large turnarounds/reorgs just like this and they are now entering their 3rd year (came out of BK in early 2010 I think).
I am very limited on my posting for a couple weeks, so I apologize for the length of this post and for not responding to you sooner.
All JMO and I hope this adds to your own outlook and DD on DEXO
As a scientist, the market would drive me nuts if I let it. If there is cause and effect, it's often irrational. I bought-in at 1.61 on Monday. Tuesday PM was 1.94, had meetings, set a stop at 1.78,then returned to see I'd been stopped-out. Folks on this board predicted 2, but day closed about 1.75. I wasn't willing to buy back in at mid 1.70s just prior to earnings. No buffer at that re-entry, and selling 14K shares of a fast dropping penny stock is not a situation to be in.
Reporting on Thursday morning was at least decent, stock gapped-up, then floated down filling the gap, and closing where it started. Traders taking a chance by buying at Wednesday close and holding for earnings, made out great by selling at 2.03-2.08 on Thursday morning. Quick money.
I bought back in at 1.69 today, after it dipped low the first time. It went to 1.71, then dipped again. I see this stock popped to mid 2.20s about 3 weeks ago. It is surprising that we couldn't get a short squeeze to at least that on Thursday. I thought the prognostications were wildly optimistic, and that proved to be true. 3 bucks?? -- really?? lol
I'm looking for 20 to 30 cents. If volume comes in, I'll hold for higher. The market is due for a 10% correction. When that happens, DEXO like others (exception for oils) will feel the effects.
Good luck next week.....Keep it real.
Buckyboy:
why DEXO is down to 1.60 $?
is it because of the news that we are waiting on the repurchase of the loans?
please advise bro!
Just depends. Shorts are obviously still in control here.
Though I agree with you , seems the PPS is being controlled as there is WHAT? - a 8m short position on DEXO and they are not out to loss. So untill they unwind its not going to reach a true value range. Would need a 5m to 10m share buy order to come in , or a buyout to break current hold.
i hope so, may add to my current position down here. best,k
You are correct, they are ahead of schedule it seems. :)
Report was awesome. Their change to an internet sales/marketing company is actually ahead of their projections. Their decision to partner with Google was pretty good eh!
Projected revs EBITDA 2012 are 500 - 550M!!
Debt reduction at a discount to be announced latter part of next week.
And the stock still trades under 2 bucks? This is a case where the fundamentals will catch up to reality to the upside.
This is an overreaction by retail today. Simply a buying opportunity IMO.
Best Wishes
They are right on track with everything they said they were going to do thus far.
As a long-term holder, you have to be happy with that.
Details of the company's ability to buy back debt at a discount will be filed for all to see by the end of next week (assuming all of the lenders sign off). It pretty much sounds like it's a done deal, otherwise they wouldn't have uttered a peep.
Good luck to all
Doesn't surprise me at all even though it sucks. Every earnings I have played with a large amount of shorts has always done this (for me anyway). "SODA" was the last case were I bought opening market after they released that they had killed earnings expectations. It gaped up huge and ran a little higher only to be brought back down to close the gap that day. The next 2 days were RED! couldn't believe it. Eventually it turned around and ended up heading higher than the original gap but it took a week or to. Looks like the same is happening here, High number of institutional shorts will want to cover before they can move it higher. Feels like the casino haha the house always wins!
To me this shows just how many rats were in the pipes, but they should all be cleaned out now. A lot of impatient people taking profit today, which I can't blame them for, but it does make for frustrating trading when people like me are waiting for the 2.30 or 3.00 mark
What confused me is why the 2010 net income added the LCF to earnings to equal 20.2 million but the 2011 numbers are subtracted from one another -5.5 million?
Weird
In the latest reported QTR they frased it right BUT neglected to put brackets around the 18m number. That may have caused some confusion for some.
Why is q4 2010 added 13.5 +6.7 = 20.2?
Sorry I am not an accountant. Thanks for the anwsers.
NO - 23.5m income minus 18M loss carry forward = 5.5M taxable income
Loss carry forwards are NOT INCOME , they are losses in prior years that can be used to offset a current years taxable income if they have a profit.
Accounting error? Why in section "schedule 2" does it show $23.5 Million in Net Income
$18.0 Million in Tax Loss Carry forward Benefit
But only 5.5 million net income 4qtr??????????
Shouldn't it be $41.5 TOTAL NET INCOME???????
http://ir.dexone.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=653037
Should have a few P.O.ed share holders after todays activity. No good reason not to have closed above 2.
Any have the same opinion? Be polite please
Looks like someone had other plans for DEXO near the close. Still a stock with EPS close to its PPS so something has to give sooner or later.
Looks like the gap will close today or tomorrow. Oversold with the good earnings IMO
