Tom’s Truck Center has made a groundbreaking move by opening the first hydrogen refueling station onsite at a commercial truck dealership. This significant event took place at their Santa Fe Springs location in Los Angeles County, marking an important milestone in California’s push towards a hydrogen-powered future. Strategically situated along Highway 5, one of the nation’s busiest corridors, this new station is part of the Nikola HYLA network and aims to support the transition to cleaner, zero-emission heavy goods transportation.
Yahoo has a 80 target price. Golly.

A NEW ALL TIME LOW !
That didn't take very long !
I love it when a plan comes together !
LOOK OUT BELOW !
Reduces to 5.5 million shares with 20 million ceiling.
Reverse Split 50 for 1.
Time to Short some more !
1:50 rs just announced. Looking for $1 pps.
WTM - Funny. No One on any of the Hydrogen boards owns or drives an FCEV.
Too expensive ... Even if you can find an open station. $30 / kg / "gallon" and Not Green.
Congratulations !
Today, North American Fuel Cell Stocks collectively are trading at NEW ALL TIME LOWS !
That is pretty telling that after 20+ years, the Sector today is trading at its lowest levels in the sector's history.
NOT Impressed.
WTM - Another one-off test.
And another Congressman got to take some pork from the barrel home to his District.
A waste of space.
Meh.

US Army gives thrilling inside look at groundbreaking new rescue truck: 'Your vehicle is your power generator'
August 26, 2024
https://autos.yahoo.com/us-army-gives-thrilling-inside-104547509.html
The U.S. Army has been showing off the prototype of its new H2Rescue truck that runs on hydrogen fuel and can go 1,500 miles before it needs a refill, CleanTechnica reported.
It all began five years ago when teams were brainstorming solutions to improve the Army's emergency response capabilities. It's all part of the force's 2022 Climate Strategy, which it says starts with fielding hybrid tactical vehicles by 2035 and aims to shift to fully electric ones by 2050.
While it may look like a fancy box truck, there's a lot going on under the hood. It boasts an electric drivetrain, a hydrogen fuel cell, storage for up to 176 kilograms of hydrogen, and high-density lithium-ion batteries.
The truck can become an on-site hub during emergencies, providing 25 kilowatts of export power — enough for around 20 homes — for 72 hours, according to the DHS. It also factors in enough to run its own systems, offering cooling or warming for those in need or serving as a mobile command center.
The Army report says that hydrogen fuel cells only emit water and air as byproducts, and a single fuel up can provide between 200 and 400 gallons of water as a byproduct. Right now, it can only be used for washing, but the goal is to upgrade it with a filtering system to make potable water.
"California wildfires [were] going out west, there were a couple of hurricanes in the southeast and we knew that big swaths of the U.S. were having these natural disasters [and] that customers didn't have power, water and were just devastated," Nicholas Josefik, technical lead on the project, shared in the report.
The H2Rescue vehicle is one step in the right direction for the environment. According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, passenger vehicles, like cars and trucks, are responsible for around 41% of planet-warming carbon emissions in the U.S. by burning dirty fuels
Trucks, an Army mainstay, may only represent 4% by vehicle type, but they produce 23% of the emissions in that grouping, the Army reports. By using cleaner hydrogen, it's estimated that the H2Rescue could conserve around 1,825 gallons of dirtier fuel and reduce emissions by 2.5 metric tons annually.
It's also beneficial for rescue workers and those in need on disaster sites to have as much clean air as possible. Diesel generators, the current go-to for power generation in those situations, aren't doing anyone any favors. Plus, the new rescue vehicle runs nearly silent, reducing noise pollution.
The supply chain for hydrogen fuel is still developing, so to be safe, the Army is also developing a mobile hydrogen generator that just needs water and electricity to produce the fuel. However, some factories are already producing clean hydrogen through renewable sources like solar and wind.
The Army will continue demonstrating the H2Rescue throughout the year, showing that this one hybrid truck can replace generators, fuel tankers, and a gas-guzzling support vehicle.
As Josefik explained, "Instead of having to bring in those three different pieces of equipment, now you drive your vehicle to the location and your vehicle is your power generator."
First of its kind clean waste collection test underway in SF
Recology is testing a first of its kind in North America refuse collection truck powered by hydrogen. The only emission is water.

Hey Banger - I have never met an investor who takes his gains from investments in Blue Chip, best in breed stocks, and throws his money away on junk stocks like HYZN, BLDP and PLUG.
Most wise investors take their gains and buy and hold best in breed and blue chips, which also pay healthy dividends. It says something when LIN, APD and NextEra are close to 100+ year highs, and HYZN, BLDP and PLUG are close to or at their all time lows.
For me, I take the gains I have made shorting badly run alt fuel companies like PLUG, FCEL and HYZN, and invest these gains in LIN, APD, JM and NextEra.
And as for the cash strapped, struggling messes like FCEL, Hyzn and PLUG, you say are nimble ? How good is HYZN as an investment when it has never made a penny in profit ? And you think HYZN is a BUY ? What BUY Signal for HYZN have you seen ?
How nimble is PLUG when they have to wait for months for a government backed loan in order that they can try to build some infrastructure.
Chevron, Cummins, NextEra, LIN and others can cash flow their capital projects without having to dilute or add debt.
And if one of the pturds ever takes off, I am close enough to catch most of the upside, without risking any of my blue chip money in the meantime.
Banger - That's where we differ.
I take all of my profits from shorting PLUG, Hyzon, and Ballard, et al and invest that money into real companies like LINDE , APD and Cummins.
Hey Jack
to be in hydrogen you can have a “balanced” portfolio
I am in Linde and Cummins (and Air products) as the established market players, but they are being challenged by more nimble and more risk tolerant companies where there is more money to be made (and yes lost)
From an investing point of view the “big gains” are in the emerging smaller companies. like NKLA, HYZN, etc for trucks and Ballard Bloom, FCEL and PLUG for more generic Fuel cell and hydrogen generation
Using Crossing the chasm to assess individual companies and Gorilla Game for how to play an emerging market with multiple players you don't pick one you invest in all and the winner will emerge. (classic case is the RDMS market in the 80’s and 90s where Oracle eventually won out)
Currently I’m not in HYZN and not sure they do survive, are the changes to their focus too late? Same could be said for PLUG but I am still in there. My current expectations are Bloom, Ballard and NKLA will be ok but not adding to my existing positions there yet. When the time comes - with a few more quarters of financials I can move profits from Linde and cummins into these as well.
WTM - If you like hydrogen, why are you here ?
If you think hydrogen is the future, why are you here ?
Best in breed for Hydrogen is LINDE.
If you like hydrogen trucks why are you here ?
Cummins is best in breed for hydrogen trucks .
HYZN is 6 cents for a very good reason. Worst in breed ?
Mareen, sorry for not responding sooner, I just saw your posts, as I don't follow Hyzon as much since selling out a few months ago. As I previously mentioned here, I sold out right after the Q1 conference call, disappointed with the constant lies by the CEO, calling Hyzon the leader in Class 8 hydrogen trucks, years ahead of the competition.
I was brought back to the board by a post on the NKLA Stocktwits board, mentioning the dramatic recent rise in HYZN share price. I believe and hope for Hyzon to come back and succeed, it will take time, their low capital cost model is good, and so they may just indeed succeed. With the share price under $0.1 I'll likely buy back some shares on Monday. Good luck to all.
Who cares to manipulate a 6 cent stock ?
It looks like HYZN is quickly running out of options and time .
$hyzn .07 break
Two more DELIST PLAYS on my watchlist for next week:$KXIN - set to delist on AUGUST 28TH, but has an appeal filed ✅$HYZN - received a delisting determination, but company plans to file a timely appeal ✅

Both <$0.10 like $VEV which I LOVE so we will see wassup next week😉😁 pic.twitter.com/jH9vKuT16w
Same hear
If the share goes back up to $3 I will be able to put air in a low tire.
Have to stick with the same used valve stems. Or buy a
coffee and shoot the shit about politics at MCDS.
I don't see a way out for HYZN.
It looks like there is NO CURE fore delisting.
Management has really painted HYZN into a corner.
I just bought 17 shares for $1.00 ! Covering some odds and ends.
HYZN shares are the only thing you can buy for 6 Cents !
RT - If you click on the News icon instead of Boards, you can Read the SEC notice.
On another board, there is a report that Hyzon has received a delisting notice from NASDAQ. The specific rule violation was the share price under 10 cents for 10 days. I checked. The rule exists. Hyzon has appealed the delisting notice.
I could not find a link to this delisting notice. However, if this is true, I would expect a notice from Hyzon.
If this is true, Hyzon management will have only themselves to blame
Could the shareholder meeting In 2 days time make a difference?
Could the shareholder meeting In 2 days time make a difference?
I don't keep track of warrants. I do watch options and there aren't left there. The short data is too old to be relevant. If many short positions are still there, I'd be surprised when the pps is this low.
Do take note of today's SEC filing.
In order to trade on the Nasdaq capital board, the market cap needs to be more than $50M. THey haven't received a notice yet, but if they do, that's a 90 day clock. They also haven't yet received notice about the share price being under a dollar, but when they do, that's a 180 day clock. IOW, yeah I agree with you. Why do a reverse split when you have other problems.
BTW, did I correctly read that they created more warrants at 2 cents each?
So, what's your take going forward? Simple math shows a r/s isn't going to help investors or get pps over $5. Unnecessary at this time.

jammy - After all of the abuse you threw at me last October, yes it is quite fun and satisfying to give you a little taste of your own medicine.
It looks like ALL of the Fuel Cell stocks are near historic lows, and I am short.
jammy was wrong and I am in the money ... life is good.
Remember these ?
