I also believe that the lenders will work with them.
YOY comparisons for the full quarter are really meaningless since most (all?) of PLAY's locations were closed for much of that quarter!
Honestly looks more like a hit piece!
You’re welcome.
I can’t imagine the lenders not wanting to working them.

We aren't here for F21ENDS and are only here to STEAL YOUR MONEY and make more money with it. Two ways to $PLAY only one wins and #LootWallStreet is loving Dave & Busters during the pandemic.
Thanks! Missed that!

Dave & Buster's is an American restaurant and entertainment business headquartered in Dallas. Each Dave & Buster's has a full-service restaurant and a video arcade. As of June 2020, the company has 137 locations in the United States and Canada, with more announced to open in the near future.

Dave & Buster's Entertainment(PLAY) reported a larger loss and lower sales than analysts expected Thursday but SunTrust boosts its rating to buy from hold and raises its price target to $22 from $17. The investment bank is " encouraged by faster than expected re-opening plans" and "steadily improving sales at re-opened stores," among other things. "While sales are sensitive to increased COVID concerns, lean operations and strong liquidity mitigate downside risk," SunTrust adds. Others weren't as optimistic. BMO, with a price target of $15, says "near-term comp expectations still seem overly optimistic and we continue to expect a slower, longer-tailed recovery" for that industry. Raymond James says "we remain cautious on the pace of sales/EBITDA recovery given the ongoing risks related to COVID-19." Shares are up 8.2% to $15.84

Well, what do you guys think, sell before next earnings and buy back in lower?
Here’s another perspective that’s also accurate. Overlap the Dow or any of the other on this. It has followed the market. Yes it fell a lot, but you can also run the ratio between market ups and downs and figure where this should on the next up day.
Same reason all major transports and highly populated area company’s fell.
Except PLAY can’t even do take out, they were over leveraged and people won’t flock back to an arcade when the economy opens back up.
Primarily the Wuhan virus!
Why did this fall from $60 - $4?
Yep. Waiting for around $7 to rebuy again.
75M at the market offering.
Limited upside from her since D&B needs money and will be selling shares on any jump.
Any up movement from yesterday’s conference call should be sold.
Sure they made $3 last year and focused on that, but they have 100M in cash left that is burning fast and piles of debt and lease obligations. They will be forced to raise equity at basement prices or issue debt at 12%+ in a few more weeks of closed doors.
I agree with this sometimes investing is common sense activity. You’ve got to have some kind of rational for basic plays! No pun intended..
PLAY just listed as one of the 30 stocks that might go to ZERO this year. Not by some wacko, but by Money Magazine. OUCH. Here is their take on it.

Dave & Buster's Entertainment (PLAY)
In the time before coronavirus, I’ve suggested buying the dips on Dave & Buster’s Entertainment. Although I hate to go back and reverse course on my idea, I’m left with no choice. Principally, my thesis on PLAY stock involved the psychological concept that we humans are social creatures. But in the post-coronavirus era of social distancing, Dave & Buster’s is a no go. As with adult gaming venues, the company represents the antithesis of various health agencies’ recommendations. First, you have the same circulated air that you’re breathing. Second, Dave & Buster’s is a socializing platform, mixing people with games, food and drinks. In other words, it’s a combustible mix for spreading infectious diseases. Thus, you should place PLAY stock in quarantine.

meanwhile its running up today
the power that be are working PLAY today
Honestly, it probably isn't a buy under $5 either.
It is no fault of their own.
PLAY has an AWESOME business... under normal circumstances! Unfortunately these are NOT normal circumstances!
My suggestions to them are as follows (when they reopen):
1) Give every person that enters a small bottle of hand sanitizer and request they use it before and during their visit. Or at least put dispensers all over the store!
2) Put a few employees in each store on "wipe down" duty to walk the store very visibly wiping off games with sanitizing wipes.
3) Have someone out front to open the door for all visitors so they don't need to touch the door. Or add automatic doors like supermarkets.
PLAY one of the worse positioned restaurants for covid. People won’t rush back to it either. Under $5 is probably a buy but keeping the short since $16.50.
I agree -i am planning to hold -i think this will rebound once the country is back to normal
PLAY is tied to the virus.
Without knowledge on the viruses' future path, one cannot call PLAY a buy at any price...
