So do you have any websites that track chatter? I only see a few pay sites.. Hedgechatter? Seems pretty lame... Any recommendations?
Just closed. 25%. I won't short near $2.50.
It worked for me.
I thought about it- I'm just scared to hell to do it...
Setting up to short the Messiah...
Follow AdventArmageddon on Stock Twits...
Enact laws that allow for criminal prosecution of individuals and firms for being misrepresentation-ally stupid.
Make it illegal to trade anyone else's money unless you are acting on a a strict profit sharing arrangement.
Require all managers and people in the financial sector to sign binding and legally enforceable fiduciary agreements.
There are short hedge funds, which for the most part are non-profittable at this point. There are also the more standard "hedge" fund which are investment arms that take out positions against their investments. These make small returns on average still.
The issue is that "Wall St." never plays with "Wall St."s own money and the largest blocks of money are being placed in investments based on the principal fees the manager gets from the trade and not soundly. And, "Wall St." is full of complete idiots.
On another front - so... this is what I am being told. At some point relatively soon there will be a chat group opened where you can join for a monthly fee and literally just ask technical and or analytical questions and they will build into the chat exactly what you want. The way you want to see it.
So if you want to know the Wavelet 4 of a certain stock and the probability of whatever you just ask and they will build it. Sentiment, chatter, efficiency, algo type casting, etc.
Apparently, they have to much stuff and don't know what people want. A common thing among PhDs in Computer Science.
dog, I have a political question about Algos on Wall Street.
Presidential candidates on both sides have gotten attention by talking about Wall Street, and the danger of corruption in that system.
So, shorting is a tool for providing liquidity in the market, and it seems that "Hedge funds" take advantage of this by using algos.("because there are two many manipulators and computer programs that don't give a $hit what a company does.") This gives the users of this, the ability to effect the markets, instead of the actual health and real world circumstances of a companies prospects.
What is the single most effective thing a president or congress could do to stop the so called "abuses" on Wall Street? And, if they did, what negative/positive effects would it have on the stock markets?
Neat, I'd love to check them out-
I just saw the short trap graphs these guys are doing. Pretty nifty. And so far it is damn accurate.
Ok. So a raw data feed is good for you.
Everything you have access to so I can paw through it and find all kinds of metrics people haven't even considered. I want to slice and dice the raw data 16 ways to Tuesday and see who says what when where and how many times... I wanna know what time it is when they said it, and if they were on their cellphone or at home. Eating lunch or on the crapper. At work, or at the park. I want to know who's talking to who and how often it's happening so I can knock out pumpers and distorters leaving real talk. I want to be able to pinpoint any specific words, and be able to see who said it when and on what platform. I also would love to be able to connect name s with other names when name changes happen or you just know someone has multiple accounts or friends working together. What's available? I want the full pop.
What do you want in a service? What kind of information, advice, tactics, etc. would you want to see?
Hey peeps. So... some bad news is coming later this year. Munies are going to suffer from some increased withdrawls...
mmm. tasty.
I don't care about the frogs
unless eddie vedder does.
sweet dreams, newmed's machines and pieces on the ground.
I'm running for bacon wrapped shrimp fried rice, anyone want some?
LordTurkeyBaster knows when the cold wind blows itll turn your head around.
Well theres hours of time on the ihub line to talk about things to come

but think of a brand name that's been around since time began.
there should be a backlash because these penny pinchers don't know how to runa business.
relays and switches withs a few milliamps for now.
Otherwise I hope all is good with yawl.
Based on the latest water usage statistics I just re-re-read ... the MJ sector is doomed in the US.
So if you have been playing along and flipping CBAY you should be in pretty good shape right now. And own a lot of it.
Ever feel like this game is too easy?
Hi five.
This was a prototypical MM consolidation event. Double bottom just like the last one. Just buy and wait... fucking easiest game there is.
You could have thrown a dart anywhere in the biotech, oil or entertainment sector and made a gimmy-the-money play.
It also helps to be told 3 years out where the bottom on oil would be...
USO will be a great buy and hold for junior.
there's no doubt that the bottom is in.
Sold USO too early. Maybe I'll just take a long position in that one. Maybe 1500 shares. But I need some Zipp 60, wheels for the bike. Decision . . .
We gave my son $500 to learn how to trade. He took profits on ATHX. I was thinking about another ticker, USO.
He made 40% on ATHX. LOL, I need to be careful. If he makes too much I won't be able to claim him as a dependent.
Now, we ride her back up.
So oil didn't hit $25. It hit $26... hopefully yall are rolling in the money now.
Damn eTrade SUCKS. My 1099 is a complete mess. I'm pretty sure it wrong.
So each quarter RSUs vest. The company sells off a few to pay the taxes and I keep the rest, which I sell immediately. The numbers should be fairly consistent quarter to quarter.
1st Quarter: 218 shares vest. I sell 136 shares.
2nd Quarter: 218 shares vest. I sell 218 shares (WTF???)
3rd Quarter: 220 shares vest. I sell 138 shares.
4th Quarter: 218 shares vest. I sell 140 shares.
I have dealt with their customer support before. It's horrible.

Up over 100% now..
Sigh. TEFFY thinks I'm William.
Speaking of happy new years. We were called out by name in the infamous emails to the SEC. Remember, FITX hasn't been halted so that means they are legit. Ergo, we are legit because we've never been investigated.
I see a logical fallacy.

So tonight on the news they claim "the average" american has lost $9500 in their 401k.
WTF is that supposed to mean? Wouldn't a percentage be more meaningful?
I swear reporters are some of the least educated people on the planet.
From a Yahoo! Finance article:
I'm disappointed. There's no "About Us" or "Investor Information" links with fancy charts and pictures of yet to be converted derelict buildings (I mean pole barns).
Of course, I assume John Germinario is on your BOD. You'd be crazy not to have that pot maven on your board.
Is this you? I like it.
nope.. day job today.

but you did call it.
Did ja buy HEMP? Easy 15% or so.
Exactly. Who knew that James and Joel were roomies?
And back to 3 cents...
Wait a minute... I've been to that house.
HEMP is near 2 cents... check the history on 2 cents plays.
lol, yep. Glad I toned it down. Spent a total of 40 dollars on the last two drawings and won a total of 8 dollars.
so much for my hostile takeover of IHUBY.
