Curtis Mathes research featured in the Cannabis Industry Journal
FRISCO, Texas, Oct. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Curtis Mathes Corporation (OTC: TLED) has embarked on an expanding research collaboration with the University of Texas at Arlington (UT-Arlington), the University of Texas at El Paso (UT-El Paso), and ZED Therapeutics to evaluate the effects that phytochrome manipulation through light spectrum modulation can have on high-yielding hemp genetics. This research will utilize the Curtis Mathes Grow Lights, Inc. (CMGL) Harvester® lighting system to evaluate cannabinoid, terpene, and flavonoid expression under variable LED lighting conditions. This research also has the potential to discover novel molecules that may be present in the ZED Therapeutic hemp varietals using high-resolution exploratory instruments, such as Liquid Chromatography Quadrupole Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (LC-QTOF-MS).
"We are always searching for new ways to expand our genetic catalogue and it will be interesting to see what sort of effects light modulation have on cannabinoid, terpene, and flavonoid expression," said Adam Jacques of ZED Therapeutics, "Phytochrome manipulation, and any resulting epigenetic effects, is a poorly understood principle of horticulture and we see a significant opportunity with this research to unearth new knowledge."
"Hemp is a unique plant both in its light spectrum adaptation and the wide range of phytochemicals it can potentially produce," says Christian West of ZED Therapeutics, "I've been waiting my whole career to be a part of this research and having the lighting knowledge of CMGL combined with the analytical power of UT-Arlington and UT-El Paso is priceless in expanding our understanding of the plant."

Thanks again. It just seems like a huge hassle to go out and earn $4 million to promote a scam of some sort. Why isn't this a viable company now no matter what happened before? Is the news and disclosure all fake and are all of the people involved in this company culpable in what you suggest? Some if not all of these guys have great reputations.
I'm not sure what New Jersey has to do with this. Is it that the previous owner or the guy who is working a scam comes from there?
My biggest question has been if the due diligence is actual discoverable facts or simply word passed from a friend of a friend to you. I'm not trying to be argumentative just find out the truth and learn how to find out these facts for myself and I don't think I've moved forward on this.
I asked management to weigh in on this. I don't know if they will. I don't see where they have participated in this board before.
Well, thanks for the discussion. You are certainly passionate about this.
My friend use to own this shell, he did the reverse merger between BUCS and TLED.. trust me everything I’m saying is real stay away jersey trash is now in control
Its says 20 million warrents on top of page 16. Plus i know for a fact what is reported is wrong. My guy use to own this shell
And another guy I know has 3mill that aren't even listed
Stay far away it’s a shell stock scam
Thanks again. I called the company and asked for an explanation. The chart shows the new transactions from the acquisition of the company Curtis Mathes in May 2019. No new issues have been offered since then, so ALL shareholders, old and new, in the company are able to sell their shares, including these shareholders listed in the report. The restriction period was 1 year from issue of the new stock. I asked about 15 million shares held in warrants. The rep said that is false and that all warrants have been reported in the financial statements.
Sorry to drag this out, but a lot of us want to know. If you provide a source for these, I will call them again and ask, then report back here. Thanks!
https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/255147/content
Read pages 16,17,18...Even though it says restricted anything 2 years or older is sellable now
Thanks. I see the names of investors and the subheading says the table refers to investor actions in the previous 2 years. The most predominant family name I see is Chester.
Where can I find the information about 15M shares in warrants?
Who is the "he" you are referring to?
Sorry to be asking all of these questions, especially if it is right in front of me and I missed it.
read Page 16,17,18 of quarterly report published 8/15/20
You will see all the dirty little secrets there
Sorry for the newb questions and comments. These warrants don't show up in the disclosures/financials. Please provide links from your DD. How do I see the investors in the float? Thanks!
Stay away from this deal! They're gonna release BS news so they can sell millions of shares. There's one family that owns most of the float from years ago, they also are getting well over 15 million in warrents that are in the process of being excersised and will be dumped on you. Stay far away the guy behind this is a complete scam artist!! I DID MY DD
More great news!!!

TLED subsidiary, Curtis Mathes Grow Lights, Inc. Expands Research with World-renowned Analytical Chemist
FRISCO, Texas, June 30, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Light Engine Design Corp.'s (OTC: TLED) subsidiary, Curtis Mathes Grow Lights, Inc. (CMGL) has began a collaboration with Dr. Kevin Schug of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and the Collaborative Laboratories for Environmental Analysis and Remediation (CLEAR) to characterize the effect of phytochrome manipulation on the expression of various terpenes, flavonoids, and other classes of phytomolecules found in hemp.
"While we hypothesize that spectral switching and the toggling of supplemental red light will have profound effects on plant growth and phytochemical expression, there is not much available data in the hemp sector that explores this. As such, we are extremely fortunate to collaborate with Dr. Schug whose team will help us characterize the Emerson Effect with extremely high resolution chemical analyses," said Robert Manes, COO of TLED.
We believe this research is the first of its kind to examine possible phytochemical changes in hemp that may result from the excitation, saturation and resetting of photoreceptors that are naturally present in hemp.
"We are excited to be at the forefront of this research with an industrial partner, which produces some unique lighting technologies. Through comprehensive chemical analysis of plant constituents, we will be able to clearly understand the beneficial and deleterious effects of different lighting schemes on hemp growth," said Dr. Kevin Schug, Shimadzu Distinguished Professor of Analytical Chemistry and Director of CLEAR at UTA.

TLED subsidiary, Curtis Mathes Grow Lights, Inc. Continues Collaboration with World-Renowned Geneticists
FRISCO, Texas, June 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Light Engine Design Corp.'s (OTC: TLED) subsidiary, Curtis Mathes Grow Lights, Inc. (CMGL) will be continuing its collaboration with world-renowned geneticist Adam Jacques and Christian West to develop customized lighting recipes for the enhanced production of ancillary cannabinoids, terpenes, and various flavonoids.
"The lights we have been using in our research and development spaces have far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful lush green growth on vegetative plants, very dense trichome production in flower and doesn't burn fresh seedlings all with one unit. No changing bulbs, running ducting or dealing with blown ballasts. I have noticed a sizeable decrease in my energy consumption versus the MHS/HPS and DE style I am accustomed to running. The AC doesn't run nearly as much, the light itself uses considerably less power and I am seeing results I would expect with my DE lights. Another added bonus is that I am watering nearly half as often with no slow down in growth rates. I am impressed with an LED for the first time in my life," said Adam Jacques, Chief Geneticist of ZED Therapeutics.
"I'm no stranger to LED horticultural lighting. As you may know, there's no shortage of brands out there and I've used many different ones in my search for a satisfactory production model. I can comfortably say the Curtis Mathes Harvester is the best LED I've seen. It's flexible design configurations make it extremely versatile. The heat output is really minimal even compared to other LEDs. The light output is phenomenal. I'm impressed with the high PAR readings we get and how even the light is over the canopy. Curtis Mathes follows that up with a good price and great service, making it my number one choice for cannabis lighting," said Christian West, Lead Cultivator of ZED Therapeutics.

In connection with the previously announced LOI to acquire Tall Trees LED Company, a Nevada Corporation, the Company was presented with an advantageous opportunity to acquire Dallas Lighting and Photonics, a Texas Corporation also involved in light engine design and engineering. The Company has elected to capitalize on the opportunity by rolling-up both companies, with the expectation that the combined companies will offer the Company the prospect of substantial revenue growth.
"We are very pleased to have signed the definitive agreements to acquire these two entities. We believe that although each of the acquired companies targets different markets, the roll-up of both companies gives us the advantage of being able to broaden our reach into the marketplace and capitalize on opportunities in not only one, but two potentially highly lucrative sectors of the solid-state (LED) lighting industry, namely the entertainment/architectural/entertainment (architainment), and horticultural lighting markets," stated Robert Manes, Chief Executive Officer.
He concluded: "We have developed a range of revenue generating strategies for both operating businesses. The Company believes that following completion of the acquisitions, each of the operating subsidiaries will be well-positioned to thrive in their respective sectors of the LED business. The completion of these acquisitions will be a milestone, as it will evidence that the Company is solidifying its foundation for growth."
Due to continuing corporate development, upon FINRA approval, the Company will change its name to Light Engine Design Corp., as this name will more accurately reflect the Company's business, following the consummation of the acquisitions.

About the Company: Upon completion of the above-described acquisitions, the Company will seek to be an industry pioneer in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of state-of-the-art Solid-State Lighting (SSL). The Company will specialize in the design of advanced light engines and fixtures employing cutting edge light emitting diode (LED) and laser technologies for use in the entertainment, architectural/entertainment (architainment) and horticultural lighting industries.

Tall Trees LED Company Mobilizes to Target the Emerging Legal Cannabis Marketplace with Revolutionary Industry Specific Lighting Solutions
Marketwired MarketwiredOctober 24, 2017
PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2017) - Tall Trees LED Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Light Engine Design Corp ( OTC PINK : TLED ) announces today that it will target the swiftly expanding legal cannabis market with the offering of the Company's proprietary LED technology. Customized to heighten and balance terpene levels and a spectrum of other natural therapeutic compounds, Tall Trees brings to market advancements in lighting solutions that can be tailored to selectively breed individual strains for the effective treatment of a range of neurological, gastrointestinal, and metabolic illnesses.
Robert Manes, CEO, Tall Trees LED Company, stated: "It's with extreme anticipation that we move forward in the continuing discovery of the biophotonic manipulation of terpene production. Simply stated, we are focusing on the utilization of state-of-the-art lighting applications and organic nutrients to adjust terpene profiles and other chemical constituents of therapeutic value." Terpenes are hydrocarbons widely present in nature. In addition to enhancing the perception of aroma and flavor, terpenes are also powerful anti-inflammatories and have been found to synergistically heighten the therapeutic values of select strains of cannabis. Specific terpenes have been identified to assist in the treatment of many prevalent illnesses.
Tall Trees, an industry leader in photobiological lighting, has produced frequency-specific lighting for agriculture, algae manipulation, and phototherapeutic purposes since 2006. With a vision for the potentially robust level of growth that is forecasted for the legal medicinal cannabis industry, management believes that demand for ultra-premium lighting technologies in this market can still be highly exponential. Manes continued, "While we adamantly insist that our products are exclusively used in accordance with local legal parameters, there are organizations, domestic and abroad, that are conducting extensive research into the viability of legal medical cannabis as a treatment for a wide spectrum of debilitating and deadly diseases."
Although the Company has had a diversified focus, horticultural lighting has long been a strong-suit for the Company. Manes was approached in 2006 to research and study the then-current effectiveness of LED horticultural lighting. Through scientific analysis and extensive hands-on research, the Company has developed a highly advanced proprietary spectrum design. In addition, he has written a book titled "How to Grow Marijuana with LEDs," which is due to be updated and re-released in 4Q 2017. Robert earned Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science (Computer Management Information Systems / Aviation) degrees from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
According to Manes, even after all these years in business, the Company is proud of its record of customer satisfaction. "We regularly receive praise for aesthetic, flavor and aroma potential that our lighting provides, and several of our customers have reported winning various competitions in the cannabis industry, such as the Amsterdam, California and Washington Cannabis Cups, and most recently, a 1st and 2nd place in Arizona's 2017 ERRL Cup."
According to Forbes.com, "North American marijuana sales grew by an unprecedented 30% in 2016 to $6.7 billion as the legal market expands in the U.S. and Canada, according to the cited report by Arcview Market Research. North American sales are projected to top $20.2 billion by 2021 assuming a compound annual growth rate of 25%. The report includes Canada for the first time as it moves towards implementing legal adult use of marijuana." The article continues by highlighting that cannabis industry momentum continues to surpass even the .com era, during which time, the GDP grew at a blistering pace of 22%. "Thirty percent is an astounding number especially when you consider that the industry is still in its infancy."

Tall Trees LED Company Builds on Cannabis Focus, Mobilizes to Equip the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Industry with Commercially-Viable Frequency-Specific Lighting
Marketwired MarketwiredOctober 26, 2017
PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Oct 26, 2017) - Tall Trees LED Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Light Engine Design Corp ( OTC PINK : TLED ), is an industry pioneer specializing in the design of advanced light engines and fixtures for frequency-specific biological lighting industries. The Company is pleased to announce that it has achieved a breakthrough in spectrum design that is increasing crop yields and product quality in the indoor cultivation of legal cannabis and food products. This is significant given the importance of generating large amounts of high-quality food using environmentally sustainable practices.
The CEA and greenhouse markets are expected to expand significantly in conjunction with novel revolutionary advancements in lighting technology. "In an effort to serve an exponentially growing marketplace, we have diligently strategized to bring to market one of the most advanced indoor growth lighting systems available, thus bringing heightened efficiency and improved profitability to the legally growing cannabis industry, a market experiencing robust growth. Our technologies also have tremendous application in the food industry, which we believe will continue to experience strengthened demand, congruent to population growth." said Robert Manes, Tall Trees' Chief Executive Officer. At this time, the LED lighting sector is an intricate key to all indoor agricultural environments, particularly legal cannabis. U.S. legal retail cannabis sales were projected to rise more than five times between 2014 and 2018, from an estimated $2.2-$2.6 billion in 2014 to $7.4-8.2 billion in 2018, according to an article published by Marijuana Business Daily.
Tall Trees LED Company also announced the achievement of its client's recent 1st and 2nd placement among Arizona's 2017 ERRL Cup winners for the quality of their cannabis flower. A Tall Trees' licensed and registered grower achieved the results using lighting produced and currently available through the Company's retail and wholesale sales channels. Third-party test results were provided by C4 Laboratories, a well-respected Phoenix-based cannabis testing facility. C4 representatives commented that the THC levels ( > 32% total cannabinoids) that were detected were the 3rd highest to have been observed to date; the highest produced by solid-state lighting. To view test results in their entirety, visit: http://theerrlcup.com/cannabis-event-results/ and http://theerrlcup.com/errl-cup-winners-2017/. The Tall Trees' grower goes by the moniker "Maxx Trees."
According to a study published in the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, providing sufficient quantity and quality of food for nine billion people, as predicted by 2050, is proving to be especially challenging. Controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) technologies, including greenhouse, hydroponics, aquacultures and aeroponic systems, as well as the vertical farming possibilities, provide alternative and complementary sources for crop production, particularly in areas with limited daylight (in northern latitudes), adverse environmental conditions (droughts, floods, storms and saline soils), or in areas with limited space.
Until recently, light output in relation to power input (efficacy) in LED lighting has been insufficient to grow premium quality plants. Furthermore, the frequencies of light required for adequate nutrient delivery and control of a plant's other biological functions have previously been a major oversight in the LED lighting industry. However, the Tall Trees LED Company has responded to these inefficiencies in the cannabis sector. Tall Trees' CEO, Robert Manes states, "there are many compelling scientific and peer-reviewed articles beginning to define the benefits of spectrum (frequency) control for food production, and we intend to extend this research and development to control yield, aroma, flavor, and a multitude of targeted medicinal qualities in cannabis."
Tall Trees' horticultural products follow strict internal guidelines for Coverage, Color (spectrum) and Photon Density (CCPD). The Company's fixtures are designed to cover industry-standard grow trays, provide spectrum that emulates natural sunlight, (which is the best overall grow light) and delivers the photon demand required to satisfy all of a plant's photobiological needs. Tall Trees' technology utilizes the latest research in photobiology to tailor lighting output for optimum growth, aesthetics, chemical and nutritional content.
