Hi ConstitutionNow,
I agree that for management, they are raising capital at a high PPS, reducing the dilution, so I cannot blame them for that. I missed my limit order sell by a hair :)
I'm still way up with CYRX, so not a big deal, just a minor frustration.
Thanks again for your thoughts, really appreciate it.
Best of luck with your investments!
Sorry to hear that H! I discovered 'selling calls' a couple years ago after 20 years of playing around with stocks...never looked into options before as always understood that other than buying puts or calls is too dangerous...but after looking at selling calls against shares you hold in your account, its really lower risk than buying puts or calls. You only risk losing the shares at the strike price you sell the calls at(but also keep the purchase price of the call)...am I saying that correctly?
I really didn't think they would pull a money raise with $95m in the piggy bank already...but guessing mgmt is thinking about a big purchase. This honestly might be a good move, should only dilute 4 to 5m shares in the end.
$100 Million Convertible Senior Notes Offering
I had put an order to sell at with a limit order and the floor dropped under me, the order did not go through!
You called it, I just missed it!
Best of luck with your investments!
Interesting thought.
Maybe I should take some benefit ... Even if it's not too many shares, just to make sure I don't lose much on the way down. I'll think about it.
Thanks ConstitutionNow!
Best of luck with your investments!
Yeah heck of a run! Looking at charts cannot see how this continues, nothing goes up forever, so sold some nov $30 calls today for a hedge!!! We are at a billion market cap now, just can't see how that's justified...yet??
Great PPS run, post earning call.
Others are looking at the 'pipeline of 62 Ph III trials' thinking a good number will make it to commercial stage and turn into revenue growth for CYRX.
Best of luck in your investments!
Yes have looked at BLFS but they're specialty is really not in logistics, even if they claim to have the best technology. Haven't looked lately but likely don't have near the trials locked up that cryoport has, especially the number of late phase trials, as they are much higher volume and obviously closer to commercial volumes. Blfs has some other niche products but if memory serves me right they're revs have been much less reliable and harder to predict, and im guessing that has something to do with the stock price.
I am also a long term holder that is excited about their prospects and am seeing maybe a re-rating on valuation as far as multiple of sales goes.
I was trying to compare to BLFS (are there others?) And it seems that BLFS trades at a less multiple. Have you all looked at BLFS?
Hi ConstitutionNow,
I'm playing a Long long game on CYRX. It's been quite good for me and I'm holding on as I see the pipeline filled with so much potential I would kick myself if I sold now only to see it up 100% within 2 years.
I have a hard time coming up with the argument to say revenue will drop in the next two years when I see what those slides. Nothing spectacular from a technical viewpoint (they have the infrastructure, that's in place), so all that's needed overall is filling the pipeline and getting products approved. In other words, it's not your typical biotech where so much brain power is needed, together with navigating the forces against you from powerful BP's, character assassination, stock manipulation. This is one is relatively simple. A bit like what Warren Buffet likes, you don't need geniuses to manage the company, the model is well established and can be managed by filling the pipeline and executing.
Ph III clinical trials have a historical success rate. For example:
"
Hey H2R, still holding some cryoport huh. Thought Quarterly was very strong with much coming in the not too distant future and the market appears to have been impressed also.
I've been holding since 2013 and missed taking some profits on the last run to 25...however did sell some calls against my holdings which turned out to be a good hedge. Yesterday I actually sold a pile of $25 Nov calls at $3, as imo, however good the report was, our valuation is again looking very rich, even based on the 3 year revenue projections. I honestly believe we will have another major consolidation before then.
Just a quick observation as I'm sure you are a substantial holder also, and wondering if you've made any moves either way lately.
Bet it’s connected to Lonza...any thoughts?
Particularly liked this: “With research into COVID-19 moving at a relatively rapid pace, we have been selected to support six clinical trials for potential COVID-19 treatments and vaccines. We are proud to use our expertise to contribute to the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and are working closely with our clients to assure the security of their products as they advance the trials of these much-needed therapies.” From latest Q1 PR
The short position in CYRX is 22.5%.
Pretty big position.
For the quarter, it seems bullish that they met revenue expectations, as a lot of firms are struggling to do so.
"In April, Gilead's Kite Pharma renewed its agreement with Cryoport, which cover its entire portfolio of therapies in development as well as YESCARTA®. The ongoing rollouts of both YESCARTA® and KYMRIAH® to patients in the Americas, EMEA and APAC are expected to drive a continued ramp in activity related to our agreements supporting these commercial products. Revenue from our agreement with bluebird bio to support its commercial launch of ZYNTEGLO™ is expected to commence in the second half of 2020."
May see a short attack in the morning, but don't think it will last
Yeah thats a positive, looks like after hours bid ask is down...someone sold a couple thousand at 18 and change...see how actual market reacts tomorrow.
According to today’s Q1, Cryoport & Gilead still working together.
Didn't see that announced anywhere...thanks
Lonza/Cryoport partnership announced late 2019...Lonza/Moderna announced today....potential distribution future?
Mark Sawicki on 2020 :)
And back on track the very next trading day! Up 7.7% after the Jan 10th 5% drop :)
As I mentioned on the 'drop' day:"
Thanks for the info. Got to admit I’m so tired of this stock I just have not been following like I used to. Do you all think this is a blip or a sign of things to come?
CYRX Jan 10 Drop
The Company's PR:
They missed Q4 sales by 1.2 million dollars.
What is going on with Cryoport today? We made a nice run early yesterday, got a report that was mostly positive and now it’s absolutely bombing. What am I not seeing?
So frustrating....
Ouch. Makes little to NO sense telling us this mediocre news 2 months early...unless of course there is something BIG brewing they need to announce before normal release date...otherwise keep bad news quiet as long as possible right?
Good to know I am not alone.
I keep thinking it will come back, too. Just very annoyed that I didn't sell some at the time it hit $25.
BUT hey, that's what I get for not paying attention.
Hope it doesn't take three years.
However, I did buy a stock MANY years ago, got it at $8, of course it went down after I bought. A buddy said JUST SELL IT.. I said, NO I think it is going to be good. So I hung.
It is now in the $120 area. I have taken profits along the way but still have some shares. Very happy.
I was just sorry I didn't buy more when it went down from $8 all those years ago.
Hope CYRX doesn't let us down.
Cheers!
SOS: Exciting Clinical Data on CAR-T Drugs Points to Dramatic Growth

Larry does make a lot of sense to me.
Best of luck with your investments!
Right there with ya, didnt sell enough at the nose bleed prices. My thought is EVENTUALLY we will get there...could be 3 months could be 3 years.
They have plenty of cash in the bank to carry them to profitability. What we need is a profitable quarter prior to expectations, a big commercial win, or a buyout!
Any thoughts if CYRX will get back to the $20-25.
I screwed up and didn't sell when it went to $25. Sadly I didn't have a GTC order...
Appreciate your thoughts.
$CYRX short squeeze all day Cryoport Inc Nasdaq Cyrx Short Squeeze
It's total BS what they are pulling with this clown.
Let's see... 5000 shares granted on 8/19/2019 at a price of 3.07 per share sold with at 15.01 per share nets a profit of $59,700.00 - nice pay day Rich Berman! Can we expect this each and every month - been unloading shares.

That's some expensive rent. Maybe a few complaints from share holders would make him second guess the instant liquidation.
They are clearly renting his name for association only. I bet he doesn’t have ANY input on anything.
I did like to see those buys from the CEO.
True to form he sold already.
Yea I saw that. Can we afford to get involved with a company who's stock is at $355 a share and a market cap of 26 billion? Well I guess we can take a wild ass gamble once in a while. Me likes it!
he knew he likes money. as soon as he is awarded shares he sells them. immediately. would not doubt that at times he doesn't even remember cryoport at all. i would assume he is financially secure. if he had an ounce of bullish sentiment in him he would hold SOME shares. i dont think it's an indictment to the future promise of CYRX. i just think the guy is on autopilot. use my name as an advertisement to your board in exchange for shares that i will sell as soon as i get them.
But in a microcap company? He must have known something?
He is on the board for his name. He owns no shares and sells the as soon as he gets them. Used to infuriate me every time I saw those insider sell fillings
