Full-Year 2012 – Crosstex Energy, L.P. Financial Results
The Partnership realized adjusted EBITDA of $214.1 million and distributable cash flow of $112.8 million for 2012 compared with adjusted EBITDA of $214.0 million and distributable cash flow of $121.3 million for 2011. The Partnership reported a net loss of $40.1 million for 2012, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million for 2011. The increase in net loss was primarily the result of increased depreciation and amortization expenses in 2012.
The Partnership’s 2012 gross operating margin increased to $393.8 million from $375.2 million for 2011. The improvement was primarily due to the acquisition of the ORV assets in July 2012, the contribution of the Partnership’s Permian Basin assets that became operational during the first quarter of 2012, increased NGL fractionation and marketing activity and growth in south Louisiana crude oil terminal activity.
Fourth-Quarter 2012 – Crosstex Energy, L.P. Financial Results
The Partnership realized adjusted EBITDA of $51.7 million and distributable cash flow of $26.7 million for the fourth quarter of 2012, compared with adjusted EBITDA of $54.6 million and distributable cash flow of $31.7 million for the fourth quarter of 2011. Adjusted EBITDA and distributable cash flow are non-GAAP financial measures and are explained in greater detail under “Non-GAAP Financial Information.” There is a reconciliation of these non-GAAP measures to net loss in the tables at the end of this news release.
The Partnership posted a net loss of $24.5 million for the fourth quarter of 2012 compared with a net loss of $1.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2011. The increase in the net loss for the fourth quarter of 2012 was primarily the result of increased depreciation and amortization expense.
“We successfully executed our business plan in 2012. We accomplished our three primary objectives by achieving solid financial performance, enhancing scale and diversification with the acquisition of the Ohio River Valley assets, beginning construction of the Cajun Sibon I project, announcing the Cajun Sibon II project and exiting 2012 with strong year-over-year increases in our distribution and dividend rates,” said Barry E. Davis, Crosstex President and Chief Executive Officer. “We have evolved into an integrated midstream energy solutions provider with $1 billion of major projects underway that will continue to increase our fee-based business and diversify our business across the natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil sectors. Looking ahead, I’m confident we have the right platform, the right opportunities and the right people to deliver growth and create value for our investors and customers.”

XTEX is on the come back no doubt
I just saw that. Here is a shortened version of the press release.
xtex n xtxi consolidated
Its not looking to shabby right now. Looks like they will presenting at a conference coming up. Looks like it would be worth going to.
yes I wish I had held on to it.
They have been executing their business plan well. I feel this has positioned the company well for continued growth in the coming quarters.
GLM was acquired so no more GLM
XTEX
Still contemplating on oil traded out of BP to early but can't complain, I caught nearly the bottom within a few pennies a heavy load. But I was day trading it before that, and made some and some days took a loss on it, over all no complaints, Hoe about Global Marine, GLW I think it was.
XTEX should pay off in long term on DIV's XTXI at some point should close some gap.
I think they move earlier
They are starting to move that is for sure. The big natural gas move will come 3rd and 4th quarter if you ask me when rig counts drop.
Not yet But I should
imjx is a worthless printing press, XTEX and XTXI are good for the longer term, but they have already moved 5 bags in a year.
XTEX will be paying the best DIV for now, of the 2.
Hi Americano...somehow I found you over here...I remember you from IMJX...What are your thoughts on those 2 stocks for the first half of 2011? I am looking into buying some shares of them. Also, I'd love to hear your input on this board:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=19505
Are you picking up any gas stocks / plays as well or focusing on oil?
Yeah you don't see as many savvy oil & gas traders on ihub playing listed companies. What are your other picks for 2011?
I came back with likes of xtex ,xtxi and a several other large caps, not to mention here.
2010 was very good to me, coming back strong and hopefully this year is even better. God Willing and some good luck and right picks.
Yes xtxi and xtex both 10 bag full, very few at the ihub picked up on it, I tried my darnedest to put it out there.
Just sit back because they will gain more over the next couple years, no 10 bags but pay DIV's will make some dif.
got a couple more for this year, think 10 bags and one 5 bag
2010 has been a very good year for MLPs. Rising prices for MLP units meant that they received more money when units were sold through public offerings. Increased equity is needed by MLPs to borrow more for financing capital expansion programs. Crosstex Energy (XTEX) resumed paying distributions (offering yields of 6-8%) after distributions were dropped during the financial crisis.
You also have a great rich new year
Tough proposition lol. Have a great new year's!
I here by Agree To Agree with you :)
We will have to agree to agree on this one :)
xtex is surely at least a hold
Agree it is about the volume but I think demand is on the rise and 2011 will reflect that. Call me an optimist but my bets haven't been wrong so far.
xtex does not really depend badly on high gas prices , they are pretty much about volume , shipped in the pipe lines. In this Gas Cold weather at the same time helps volume as well as in the south hot weather helps some in there area. Gas does provide AC in homes.
There are plenty of gas operated heat pumps.
The sideways trading here is behind the rest of the sector but that won't last for long if you ask me. Looking at much stronger potential for next year. A move in oil prices to $110 + could see XTEX over $20 before you know it.
I think your right
Energy stock rally is just beginning if you ask me. Good luck.
Wish I still had all the shares, trading though made good money on xtex and xtxi, can't complain.
Locked and loaded here :)
It maybe really good
Yeah I agree on both points. Natural gas is looking at a solid move to the upside increasing project value and revenues for these companies that are heavily invested in natural gas. It could be one of the best sector moves for 2011!
It does perplex me a bit why do we import so much foreign oil not to mention in alternatives that are not helping to create energy independence.
I think N Gas will make a nice run next 12 months xtex will benefit.
The administration should considerate on real assets on our soil N gas. Instead of the investment in other countries Wind Power Machines.
The energy sector is only starting to rev up if you ask me. Happy Trading :)
xtex , made nice money on this one and xtxi even more.
Market cap of $691M. Analyst rating at 2.4. Call open interest at 630 vs. put open interest at 137 (Put/Call ratio at 0.22). Institutional investors currently own 16,457,137 vs. 16,134,580 shares held 3 months ago (+2.0% change). The stock has gained 101.46% over the last year.
Just Holding what I have here.
XTEX ,Now they throughing in the out of seq trades with the T forms for people that don't watch Level 2, they are shorting this again, xtxi maybe getting ready for a big cover.

XTEX
Crosstex engery
http://www.crosstexenergy.com/index.html
Our company was founded in December of 1996 by a management-led buyout of Comstock Natural Gas (CNG). Prior to the founding of Crosstex Energy, the company operated since 1994 as Comstock Natural Gas, a subsidiary of Comstock Resources. CNG was formed by the acquisition of Ventana Natural Gas, a company founded by Barry E. Davis. One of the assets held by the company in 1996 was an east Texas system called Crosstex Pipeline. This system became the namesake for our entire company upon its formation.
Since the beginning, our plan has been to provide the necessary midstream natural gas services to energy producers and consumers. Crosstex grew rapidly over the years, expanding from Texas into five states along the Gulf Coast, and from nine employees to over 750 in early 2008. In late 2009, Crosstex sold its Mississippi, Alabama and South Texas assets as well as, its natural gas treating business. Today Crosstex operates approximately 3,300 miles of pipeline with operations in North Texas and Louisiana, 10 processing plants, and three fractionators. The company provides services for 3.2 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas, or approximately six percent of marketed U.S. daily production.
Our success comes from our belief in our core values and our constant pursuit of the original goal: To build a great company that will last.
