" Costco raising its membership fee is a constant focus for investors given it is potential 'pure flowthrough' and considering its overall thin margin structure," analysts note. Inflation causes prices to go up. Local stores will have a hard time competing with Costco as they offer discounted prices. This will cause new members to join increasing revenue and profit.
