Nice bounce off support at 40ish
$CONX will move higher like TKM#, EBOLA must be tested, contained, and cured
would that be break or get out?
Since the NIH study concluded, work related to the Ebola assay has been relegated to limited laboratory testing at Corgenix's facility in Broomfield and consortium partner labs such as the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif., and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. The tests do not involve any live samples of the virus.

From my research, UTMB and Thomas Geibert are taking the lead in ebola research. Nice catch.

$CONX:.45 testing for EBLOA and other hemorrhagic viruses is very important at this stage of this crisis to help stop it's spread. CONX will follow TKMR up the chart....EBOLA is a horrible tragedy but money will be made on cure and containment.
15MINUTES..........."The Ebola assay can detect potential indications of Ebola virus in 15 minutes and can confirm the diagnosis in an "hour and change," Simpson said.

$CONX: Corgenix rushes tests to defend against spread of Ebola in West Africa
By Alicia Wallace
Daily Camera
POSTED: 04/01/2014 12:01:00 AM MDT1 COMMENT
When the worst Ebola virus outbreak in seven years began in West Africa two weeks ago, Corgenix Medical Corp. scrambled and raided its Broomfield laboratory coolers to assemble a potential line of defense: prototype tests developed to detect the deadly virus in a matter of minutes.
As of Monday, at least 80 people have died in Guinea since the outbreak started two weeks ago and 122 cases are suspected or confirmed, Bloomberg News reported.
Amid heightened concerns that the deadly virus may spread and affect people in neighboring Liberia, where one person has died, and Sierra Leone — where scientists are researching and conducting tests for Corgenix and the global Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium — Corgenix shipped the entire stock of its prototype tests to Africa.
The Ebola testing materials are scheduled to arrive in Sierra Leone on Wednesday afternoon. Two consortium researchers from Broad Institute at Harvard University arrived in Sierra Leone on Saturday to begin setting up testing equipment and to follow up on previous case investigations.
"We also are getting a lot of interesting requests (from other research teams and agencies) screaming for the product," Corgenix CEO Douglass Simpson said. "Everyone over there is literally scared to death."
Ebola outbreaks have a case fatality rate of up to 90 percent, according to the World Health Organization. The virus spreads fast and can kill an infected person in a matter of days or weeks.
There is no vaccine or specific treatment for Ebola, although some potential therapies are being evaluated, according to the World Health Organization.
Corgenix, founded in 1990, develops a variety of diagnostic products that range from tests to determine aspirin's effectiveness in individual humans to assays that can rapidly detect viral hemorrhagic fever such as Lassa.
Sitting on the sidelines of that cache of 50-plus products was the Ebola test, which resulted from a 2010-12 research program conducted in partnership with the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium and funded with nearly $600,000 by the National Institutes of Health.
The Ebola assay can detect potential indications of Ebola virus in 15 minutes and can confirm the diagnosis in an "hour and change," Simpson said.

You would think there has certainly been some progress since April and that the company will soon give updates amid this crisis. Better have your shares when news hits.
This will move up on momo....there will be pressure to move as many of their test kits out into the field as possible....that is the reality in a global health crisis....As far as future FDA approval .... Every breakthrough drug & diagnostic company trades on future sales and market share.....not how much current revs they have.....This is a no brainer they will get attention, more funding, & the OK to push more out internationally w/o the normal red tape...
$CONX: 10-Q covering the period ended March 31 shows:
cash: $2.7 million
current assets: $6.1 million
current liabilities: $1.1 million
quarterly revenues: $2.4 million
quarterly net income: $60 thousand
As you can see, CONX has plenty of working capital, the revenues are relatively solid (a quick peek at the older filings reveals that they are consistent as well), and the business is profitable (albeit only just).
The closer you look into the 10-Q, the more positive things you'll find. There are no traces of toxic financing and the dilution is kept in check – two problems that are burdening way too many small cap enterprises.
All in all, CONX looks like one of the better investment options on the OTC Markets. And yet, people simply weren't interested in it. For months on end, trading has been extremely slow. Daily dollar volumes have rarely exceeded $100 thousand and the price movement hasn't really been all that interesting. This, it seems, is about to change.
Don't be surprised if we see new 52 wk highs twice this coming week. The chart looks good IMO to take off.
Maybe roughly 2.45M for one quarter. Revs here are around 10M a year. Even the latest 10Q shows revs in excess of 7m for a span of 9 months. Don't forget that CONX is profitable.
You're still here? Lotsa other plays out there, but we all know you want some cheaper.
You are truly a newbie to the markets so I will excuse your ignorance.
Lol, I know man, don't feed the trolls.

Look in the mirror. Kettle black. If the company sponsors it, it would say so.
Lol hence why my statement was correct as if they did sponsor it would say sponsored by company.
Check my post, I said or the company CAN sponsor it, not they are.
Ok whateva man, let us lose our money. We're big boys.
Not sure you know what that really means lol
Lol CONX is not sponsoring it. otherwise it would say sponsored by company. Keep lying ;)
Vice versa. . I'll just keep banking here.
Lol I am very credible and your opinion doesnt matter to me ;)
Now that is a huge LOL.
Peeps who brag about their trades on message boards have no credibility.
Or the company sponsors it.
Sorry its not a joke. Go look at other stocks on there and it will say locked unless you buy it. MDNT was the other stock which they halted and moved to grey market. They showed the level 2 for free while they were investigating for public transparency. If you know who I am here and on twitter @stocklordz you would know that I dont pump or bash but state the facts as I am realist. I have made over $1.5M this year because I always do my DD.
Lol, keep trying:

Incorrect as I just checked the 10Q on OTC. Yahoo is not up to date. Last years revs were $2.45M. Something else interesting I found on the OTC site is they are showing level 2 quotes for free which they only do they if there is a regulatory investigation going on with the stock. I know this because I just experienced it on one of my other stocks. See for yourself.
Incorrect. CONX revenues exceed $10 Million. In addition the co is profitable.
Less than $5,000 in revs but valued at over $24M and is only working on a test and not a vaccine or cure? No thanks I will pass but GLTA

It makes me happy to see you are thinking just like me! Ebola has the highest kill rate of any disease on the planet. This is also the LARGEST EBOLA OUTBREAK ever.
Am I the only one that thinks the government is downplaying how big a threat this could be?
When infected with Ebola- symptoms may not show for up to 21 days! Half of NYC could be infected right now and no one would know.
If this takes off in the US- you better believe panic is going to set in.
MONEYMADE- is this your favorite Ebola treatment/prevention related stock you are aware of?
Corgenix Rapid Diagnostic Ebola Test Research Earns Divisional Best Abstract Award at AACC 2014 Meeting
Corgenix Medical Corporation (OTCBB: CONX) has been recognized for outstanding research presented today at the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo 2014 in Chicago. Corgenix earned the award for its poster abstract “Development of a Point-of-Care Diagnostic for Ebola and Sudan Virus Detection,” presented at the conference by Corgenix Research Associate Abby Jones, M.S.
The Best Annual Meeting Abstract Award is given by the AACC Critical and Point of Care Testing Division in recognition of outstanding research for abstracts submitted and posters presented at the AACC annual meeting.
“We’re pleased to accept this prestigious award, and we must also recognize our academic, research and industry partners at the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium who have helped to make this possible,” said Douglass Simpson, Corgenix President and CEO. “We are continuing with our efforts to develop breakthrough diagnostic products for detecting Ebola, Lassa and other biologic agents. Rapid, accurate testing for these agents in difficult environments is critical to global public health and defense against bioterrorism threats.”
Corgenix and the VHFC were recently awarded a three-year, $2.9 million National Institutes of Health grant to continue work on the development of an Ebola rapid diagnostic test kit. Corgenix and the consortium have already developed and CE marked the ReLASV® rapid diagnostic test for the Lassa fever virus.
Given the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the largest ever recorded, Simpson said it’s clear that point-of-care testing will be needed in the future for the rapid identification and treatment of viral hemorrhagic fevers, including Lassa, Ebola and Marburg.
On Thursday, July 31, 2014, Corgenix is also presenting an oral abstract titled “Suspected Lassa Fever (LF) Case Outcomes: A Comparison to a Non-Febrile Population in Sierra Leone.” This first-ever oral abstract for Corgenix will be discussed at 11:30 a.m. during the AACC morning symposia titled “Infected: Innovative Ideas in Laboratory Medicine for Acute and Chronic Infections.”
The study was conducted to better identify and treat patients with Lassa, which can be difficult to distinguish from other illnesses such as malaria. Study results are being presented by Corgenix Regulatory and Clinical Affairs Specialist Bethany Belote and will be published in the October issue of Clinical Chemistry.

I saw that. He was the US doctor that got Ebola and actually the first person the drug was ever used on (only used on monkeys until him). He took the drug as soon as it thawed while in Africa because his condition was so bad.. Awesome news to say the least. Bad news is the other doctor didn't have the same reaction as he did.
That still doesn't help detect it though (what $CONX is doing). And if you think making a test kit will take 20 years (which it wont) you have no idea how hard it is to make a vaccine and get it approved. You still have to find out who has it before you start treating a patient. You can have Ebola for weeks as it incubates in your system before it shows the more deadly symptoms.
