$40 Million will chop the debt bigtime and expanded operating line will allow for a nice acquisition of one or two profitable oil properties.
After listening to Stephen Brunners' Conference call he definitely did not say know. The highlight of the CC were that they would attempt to reinstate divvy but it will take some time. My thing I liked most about the CC was selling the Black Warrior and moving into profitable long term proven Oil plays through M&A's.
The divvy will help the stock price later and will be just gravy to the s/p.
IMHO.
these guys never came back like I thought they would, I imagine its time. I was looking at this one for dividends a while back, do you think they will raise them again considering they exed them in april? I think it would help the share price.
slow accumulation going on here..something' yup?
Quiet again today. Interesting. I have a bid in to buy, no sellers.
If I was to change it to a market order it is so thin on the ask side the stock could pop a dime on a single order.
I'll wait.
$1.50 on the horizon..go up from there.
$40 Million from the sale of the Black Warrior gas asset should be the selling price of the asset or somewhere thereabouts.
MM's manipulating over the past while...they want the stock and they want it all. There is 37% instutional ownersship here not including insiders on an outstanding basis of 23 Million.
That's about as tight as she gets )))
Stephen Brunner is the CEO of CEP, my appology for not including it in my message.
Appears that CEP's CEO is sincerely concerned with the investor. Listen to the CC and he does mention that he wants to reinstate dividend and that reading between the lines it looks like it will happen. The development of the divvy will give CEP a huge footprint in the expansion of it's plan to reduce expenses, trade off NG assets for Oil assets and continue to explore profitable M&A's.
.
I'm honestly surprised there was no movement today.
Ah well , it's all good.
Watching closely - prelim feeling from me is smart move

CEP more here from web:
Strategy
Our primary business objective is to create long-term value and to generate stable cash flows allowing us to resume making quarterly cash distributions to our unitholders. In the long term, we are focused on increasing the amount of our future quarterly distributions over time. We plan to achieve our objective by executing our business strategy, which is to:
Organically grow our business by increasing reserves and production through what we believe to be low-risk development drilling that focuses on capital efficient production growth;
Reduce the volatility in our revenues resulting from changes in oil and natural gas commodity prices through efficient hedging programs;
Make accretive acquisitions of oil and natural gas properties characterized by a high percentage of proved developed reserves with long-lived, stable production and low-risk drilling opportunities, which may include associated midstream assets such as gathering systems, compression, dehydrating and treating facilities and other similar facilities; and
Realize value by opportunistically forming partnerships, participating in farm-out arrangements, joint operating agreements or other capital-efficient ventures to take advantage of our significant undeveloped acreage positions in the Cherokee Basin.
C'mon Stephen, lets get that divvy back!!
CEP to sell NG ASSETS and move to OIL!!!
HUGE NEWS AFTER MARKET TODAY!
Only $30 Million market cap.
disclosure: *Warning this may contain forward looking statement.*
Level II looking real good for the past couple of weeks.
Appears to me that market makers are picking up cheap shares on the fly.
I'm in for 2800 shares and will hold for a 3 bagger.
Cheers,
SP

Hi,I came across CEP lately.
I haven´t done much DD yet...
Any good reasons why the company is this cheap?
Regards
CEP Some nice new developments today saving 600k or so a year and returning to Inc. status.
Nice, we closed a tick up on great volume and there was still a ton of bid at $1.30 at end of day.
Looks like I spoke too soon. Well at least volume is good today again...
Any decent development should trigger some movement.
Right now I suppose it's average down, accum etc......not enough action to inter-day trade :p
$CEP
Looks like we're maintaining decent volume around these levels. Now we just need to get the price moving in the right direction!
Need to do some more research on White Deer Energy and Edelman & Guill Energy in the latest SEC filing. It looks like they own a big chunk of PostRock and PostRock owns a big chunk of CPE. It will be interesting to see the game plan here.
Some interesting SEC filings the past few days! It looks like PostRock is going to try to take a more active role in management now. Good volume today after the latest SEC filing.
I never thought I'd say I miss my contacts and connections at constellation energy group lol
(an old client of mine)
I've been in and out in the past. I used to try and get in a little below the current pps but I'm not unsure at this point.

Yeah, I saw something about that also - in order to increase shareholder value. A strategic merger would seem to make sense. Whether that's the plan or not I don't know. There do seem to be some big players behind the scenes of CEP and that's one of the reasons I like it.
After ready the transcript from the latest earnings call I noticed some questions from the institutional investors about mergers. Do you think we are for sale or is CEP buying assets?
Well, a little tick down today, but good volume. There does seem to be some buying interest at these levels.
Thanks for sharing looks like their acerage is in a hot area.
The distributions of income have been shut off for a few years, maybe a good time to accumulated before the income investors come back in the future trying to sniff out some yield.
Ofcourse the gas price will need to rise. Looks from my gas/oil novice, investment veteran point of view.
I didn't yet take the time to understand the hedging put realize its importance.

Does anyone know anything more about the relationship between CEP and Exelon? As best I can tell from reading docs, Exelon owns all of the Class C shares and Class D shares in CEP. The Class C shares are some kind of management incentive program that has not been triggered. I can't figure out what the Class D shares represent. The Class B shares Exelon held all got sold to PostRock Energy. Then there is this other company behind the scenes called White Deer Energy that owns a bunch of PostRock. Still doing more research, but I do like that Exelon at least has some kind of interest here.
Nice volume today and seems to have turned the corner back up! Still holding all mine...
Looks like someone picked up some pretty cheap shares today! Hopefully, we'll establish a floor here...
Nice. I do see potential here. CEP is increasing the focus on oil. Also, natural gas prices cannot stay this low for much longer in my opinion. The management team looks to be totally legitimate and has plenty of experience, they are paying down debt, etc. I'm holding a good sized position now. CEP is pretty significantly undervalued in my view.
I've been adding here and there for the past year now..
Cool. I've noticed that CEP seems to have a very tight float. The stock price moves on a few hundred/thousand shares right now.
I've been in and out in the past, it's on the radar....just contemplating a buy/pps
$CEP
Looks like we might firm up support in the $1.35 to $1.50 channel. Hopefully a move higher after that. I would like to see $2.50 here by the end of the year.
Anyone else holding shares here? I bought quite a few and see some potential in this one.

$CEP
this could be bottomed out and ready to turn back into the mid 2's
any overall market rally will carry this
any overall market downside could make it go sideways
downturn starting to look more and more limited.....worth wathcing now in my book :)
also CEP & CEG used to be one of my clients ;)

Looks like a lot of upside here in the future imo.

Nat gas prices need to go up. When they do, these boys will be good to go.
They do have the assets and ability to make it happen. This is a good bet for the future.
