haha yeah, he was an ass. he doesn't need the $$$ from them. sounded like he was well off...
It WAS hilarious!... especially when she put her hands over her eyes.. I had to laugh!... and the guy who told them they were out!... what the heck?!.. great show.
GO CNOZ!
shark tank was a good one friday. that kiss was hilarious...
go cnoz!!!
yeah buddddddddddddddy
The news gets out by CNOZ paying PR Newswire or GlobeNewswire to publish what they tell them. Cost varies like anything else. All depends on how much you use them, size of distribution, etc. Here is just ONE part of PRNewswire's distribution network.

Beer, I checked out both sites. I've gone to the other sites. They tell who they can reach. They don't discuss fees. It doesn't say if there are flat fees, or per release charges. Also, I don't know how the PP's are carried. That is, if other firms carry the PR for free. I don't know if the other firms pick up the news so as not to be outdone. Beer, Thanks for the post. I'm still totally in the dark as to how the PR's get disseminated. So often, I see posts asking for PR's. Wishing to hear some news. Yet, it appears that none of know how the news gets out.
Looks like these are the two Cono has used in the most recent past.
You can read up on what services they provide.

skip, I didn't think you'd be a PR expert. However, you do communicate with Mitch. When you do communicate again, is this something you would consider asking? Thanks!
CJ, I think that they just pay whatever firm they want to publish it. Firms that publish PRs after they've been out pretty musch just syndicate from the larger firms to gain publicity.
Jake, I'm no expert on the PR internal process.. I've personally never seen a company release news without goin through one of these firms.. I've heard that PR Newswire charges a grand per pop.. and Marketwire is a little cheaper on their fee.. I have no proof of this though..
skip, By the way...I posted here the other day. I asked if anyone understands the PR process. I didn't get a response. Any info would probably enlighten very many board posters. Thanks!
skip, About PR's. I don't understand how they work. You've contacted Mitch several times. I've seen PR's by 4 companies. PR Newswire, MarketWire, Datamonitor, and eTeligis. The PR's are usually exactly the same. Sometimes, they come out a day later on eTeligis or Datamonitor. I believe a company hires a PR firm. The PR firm "gets out" the word. I'm guessing there is a flat fee charged per year. It seems that Datamonitor reaches people not reached by the other firms. I'm wondering how the PR process works. Does a CEO have the ability to put out a PR without a PR firm? By the way, I realize that PR's without substance are worthless. Thanks!
oh, without a doubt! I'm just wondering what's in the works with CNOZ next?! I just bet there is something good coming. It's just my feeling... for some reason I want to believe that meetings with attorneys are about future setting up of contracts, and getting all of the I's dotted and T's crossed with what's going on so far with this company. I'm sure there is a process which has to be followed without leaving out one detail.
Yeah, you're probably right... I'm not sure about a public traded company, and also the other partners that he has would probably pose a problem with that...
Best show on TV IMO. Check out dragons den. There are years and years of it. Started in Canada, and then the UK. Good stuff, I think about this on Shark Tank all the time. One thing is for sure is you need to have your s$it together. They would try to steal the company from Mitch because they believe in SALES, not sweat equity or time. It's all about, revenue, orders, and sales.
Have a good weekend. I have never seen a publicly traded company on that show. They wouldn't want to deal with all the debt and other investors (us)
kped,I agree. But the OPRAH EFFECT is legendery
Yeah, true... but that's a long shot considering she is all over the place these days.
OPRAH!! If she said they are good...WHOA!!
That's exactly what I was thinking! I'm sure those sharks would be fighting for this one! That show has helped so many. Even those who didn't strike up a deal are getting calls from people wanting to market them.. it's great!
yeah kped, definitely a great show. i can see mark cuban being all over these cones for his nba games.
ENJOY...happy hour BENEFITS. DON'T KNOW?CLICK "Enjoy Happy Hour"
Maybe Mitch should try to get on "Shark Tank" to market his products.. I love that show, and they have all the resources to get it out there... Just a thought... I love that show.. comes on tonight!
that would be great news. bring it mitch!!!
Maybe not their BEST. Possibly, they could have waited to enter their order. Personally, I hate to try to raise the price. It's so easy to lose the game. Someone places a sell order that is after my buy.
Trying their best to lower the pps.
Thanks skip! Excited to see what they've been working on
pump asked for website recommendations. Fundraisers was my suggestion. They have the ability to keep the product cold. Seems cones could be a trendy idea for fund raising.
Yea, not a direct comparison as it is a family owned
company. I know personally as when I got out of the
Army in 1981 I looked into a franchise for Ithaca NY,
home to Cornell and Ithaca College, 50,000 undergrads
who would love a bag of WC. But, it does show how
a brand can spread to supermarkets, even 7-elevens,
with distributers to move the products. I do hope that
is the future for CONZ, that's why I'm here.
iheart, I saw Undercover Boss. It showed White Castle. It doesn't franchise. It began in Columbus Ohio. Small starts can become HUGE.
Snooki may have to change her lifestyle, she is about to
reap the rewards of being drunk in a house full of young
studs were no one has morals. However, I would look
forward to seeing venders selling cones. This may take
time. I grew up in Jersey when White Castle started. Now
Wal-mart carries frozen boxes of them in upstate NY, along
with Tops and Wegmans. They are still greasy, but.. And
not five cents ea either. Distributers don't just stock any
product that comes along either. They will examine a
company with a fine tooth comb before they sign a contract.
I hope that is what Mitch and his lawyers are working on.
Haha *important. Stupid autocorrect
Jm08, please read all of the SEC filings. They show all historical finances of this company. They also show the employment agreements in respect to how much time has to be dedicated to Cono Italiano. If you read the filings you will see that the company has accrued a significant amount of debt in it's development phase. The majority of this debt is owed to Mitch as he has payed for most of everything with his own cash; the filings detail this. He is the biggest investor in this company; he could not walk away from the company without losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Also, it is importation to note that his shares are restricted and cannot be sold for a few more years. Again, please read the filings
i like to be well informed of my investments :)
skip,Thanks! You gotta be as antsy as anyone
So I asked Mitch today when we will be hearing something.. He said he's "waiting to finalize" also told me yesterday he's been busy with his attorneys all week.... IMO this has to be contracts being set in place and finalized...
Jim look at tzpc and see if you see anything in common
Where is the profit?
Correct me if I am wrong but I was reading up on the finance side of the house and this company has never had $1 in profit. Am I reading this correctly. If they have secured all these contracts where is the profit. Are they stock piling cones with this new machine that produces that many per day?
what other position does the CEO have to make a living? It would be nice to know his postion in all of this. Would it be easy for him to dump this and wash his hands of it.
It shouldnt take this long for a pizza company to generate some profit. Once again if I am reading the charts wrong please let me know and I will be happy to apologize.
Help me understand
I think thats the guy. Check the message board on yahoo for tzpc. I think its the oct post
Mitch Brown is the President or at least was.
I'm not sure about this but I think this company shares management with Thermafreeze TZPC. They used Cono to say thermafreeze was going to be a sole supplier for them. News was later pulled. I believe that if you look were corp is they are both in the same town. Thermafreeze if you review their management statements they have never reached any of the goals that they stated. If I'm wrong let me know. I've been in tzpc a long time and am stuck there. If the management is the same I would proceed with caution.
I haven't added or sold any either in awhile, but at these prices its tempting to buy more.
You can wash a $20 pair of jeans.
Can't drip on people if you can't buy them anywhere.
still 4.2 haven't sold and haven't added in a while
how much are you up to now over 5 million shares yet? If not the will put you over it for sure.
Beer,One of those dripless cones may drip. Ruin a $2000 suit. There is some risk here!!
dropping 20k next week ;)
pump how much you gonna buy this time. why are you talking in the third person haha. Anything new from mitch?
LMAO! Flipped with all the potential that CNOZ has? the great news expected? the multiple contracts? the $100M in emp's? the supermarket chains?
Sounds like a buy/hold doesn't it?
Beer, I'm assuming that many people have flipped their shares. CNOZ has risen...then, fallen. Volume limits the ability to flip. I'm guessing that .05 is the bottom for many shares.
