The science of "mudjacking", "slab jacking" or "concrete leveling" was first utilized in 1929 by the State of Iowa. The first equipment used was vary large and bulky but in essence the same technology is used in today’s modern equipment. That is self-contained and truck mounted for mobility.
CLS is not the only company that manufactures equipment for the concrete leveling industry that is why we have strived to be the best. Years of in house refinements, testing and use have culminated into our product that we proudly offer to our customers.
CLS’s equipment package is custom made by our contract fabricator that has over 25 years of metal fabrication experience. All machine work is contracted to a master machinist that has over 40 years experience in the aviation industry. All fabrication and machining are overseen by CLS’s technical adviser Ed Barth. Ed holds a bachelor degree in civil engineering technology and is an operating concrete leveling owner/operator.
All components are made off-site to CLS’s specifications and are then final assembled at CLS’s warehouse facility. As CLS’s material hopper and all sub framing are made from stainless steel, corrosion and maintaince from corrosion are eliminated. CLS believes we are the only manufacture to offer this high percentage of stainless steel in our leveling package and all items not manufactured of stainless steel are professionally powder coated and baked for maximum corrosion resistance.
Upon completion of all components Ed assembles the finished units, installs hydraulic components and tests the units to ensure compliance with CLS’s rigorous standards.
Depending on your choice of training in Ohio or at your location units are either fit to your truck in house or shipped to your location for installation by outside sources under Ed’s supervision.
