SGG.V on the move again
KRS.V big volume spike
ODX.V ramping up..accumulation up
bollies tight
LYT.V climbing out of the basement..accumulation of late
CDR.TO oversold on the weekly..reversal zone
low volume stocks like this is the reason I use the weekly chart settings as they are for longer term investors only who wish to accumulate hopefully near the bottom then have the patience to wait sometimes for a year or 2 for a decent return.
down-side not enough volume to short term trade or to get out quickly if needed however the upside is less manipulation imo and sometimes when things are quiet is the best time to buy.
I use t/a mostly and choose to believe my charts over news events..the ole chicken or the egg thingy with the theory that the folks in the know do their buying or selling before it is released as news..hehe..so can't provide any other insight..I purchased kno.v this way as an example...so far so good.
more and more I go out of my way to focus on stocks that are quiet.
rebounded from the other day.....I created a new board...not much interest in this company as it is so small....hope you can post any insight there....
Thanks,
Art

Pioneering Technology Incorporated Reports Results for the Second Quarter Ended March 31, 2007

Pioneering Technology Incorporated Reports Results for the Second Quarter
Ended March 31, 2007
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 28, 2007) -
NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Pioneering Technology Inc.'s (TSX VENTURE:PIO) focus on commercializing its
lead products, continues to deliver measurable success as the Company reported
results for the quarter ending March 31, 2007.
This press release should be read in conjunction with the Company's interim
consolidated Financial Statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis of
Financial Condition and Results of Operations for the quarter ending March 31,
2007, copies of which can be found at www.sedar.com.
"I am very pleased with what our young company has accomplished year to date,"
said Kevin Callahan, Chief Executive Officer of Pioneering. " Our focus on
launching the patented Safe-T-element(TM) (STE) cooking system in the US, is
being met with significant customer acquisition and sales growth; our search
for the perfect partner for the introduction of our proprietary Barbecue
technologies was realized through the partnership we formed with Weber; and
our goal of proving our Hydro-free Furnace Fan concept was recognized by
Natural Resources Canada. Since October, we have met the key marketing
objectives we set out to achieve and are now well positioned for long term
growth."
Second Quarter Highlights:
- Q2 revenue is up 236% versus Q1 and grew at an average rate of over 50% per
month.
- The current trend of STE month over month sales increases has been firmly
established.
- Total STE unit sales for Q2 were up 360% versus Q1. (Q2 STE unit sales do
not include recent U.S. Homeland Security Fire Prevention Safety funding
awarded for the purchase of the STE).
- The STE sales pipeline for Q3 and beyond is large and continues to grow.
- Pioneering and Weber partnered in January to develop new technology that was
customized and presented to key Weber dealers in March. Plans are now underway
for retail introduction.
Callahan went on to point out, there are over 33 million rental housing units
in the U.S. that could benefit from the fire prevention and energy efficiency
features of the STE. As the housing market comes to learn about our unique
solution, we will continue to increase our sales velocity and emerge as a
leader in this sizable market.
Of Note Subsequent to March 31, 2007:
- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) recently recognized the STE cooking system by awarding funding
to housing facilities in the U.S. for the volume purchase of the STE. Callahan
said, "This is a "tipping point" for this product. Historically the sales
cycle for the STE, as a new technology solution, has consisted of first
conducting a pilot so the buyer can confirm its functionality and
acceptability before making a large volume purchase. This validation from the
U.S Federal Government should eliminate the need for pilots and accelerate
volume purchase decisions in the future."
- The recent awards the STE is currently receiving from FEMA are only the
first of many rounds of funding to be released in the coming weeks and months
and are a good indication of what is yet to come. FEMA has already announced
that it will be offering the same program again next year.
Results from Operations
Revenues for the three month period ended March 31, 2007 increased to $162,00
which represents a revenue increase of $155,000 as compared to the same period
last year and an increase of 236% versus Q1. The net loss for the six month
period ended March 31, 2007 was approximately $658,000 and represents a loss
per share of $.01, compared to a loss of $ 1,210,000 during the same period
last year representing a loss per share of $0.02.
Callahan concluded by saying, "We have invested a great deal in the research
and development of our products to date. Our products make sense and they are
solutions that are simple, proprietary and very relevant in big markets. The
success we are now enjoying with the launch of these new innovative products
validates where this company is going and with these and many more great
products in the development pipeline, we expect sales and news to increase
exponentially in the coming months."

Pioneering's Safe-T-element(TM) Receives Funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
4/26/2007
On April 20th, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the release of the first round of grant awards under their Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) Program.
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, Apr 26, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Pioneering Technology Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario (TSX VENTURE: PIO), ("Pioneering") was advised today by its distribution partner University Electronics Inc. of Elizabeth, New Jersey that funding has been awarded for installations of the Safe-T-element cooking system. This is the first round of what will be many rounds of grant awards released by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) grant program.
University Electronics president, Scott W. Riley was "extremely pleased to see that several colleges and universities, who had applied for funding to install Safe-T-element on their campuses, were included in this first round of awards."
He continued stating, "that these awards represent two significant events. First is the confirmation of the hard work and commitment that the professionals at these colleges and universities put forth to help ensure the safety of the students on their campuses. Their pro-active efforts will help prevent the types of fire related tragedies being reported all too often in the past few years. Secondly, is the additional affirmation that Safe-T-element is an important new product that will significantly reduce the risk of cooking fires as well as false alarms."
CEO of Pioneering Technology, Kevin Callahan said, "This is the most significant validation of this fire prevention and energy savings technology to date. Recognition in the form of financial subsidies from the U.S. Federal Government will have a meaningful impact on future sales initiatives and importantly on helping reduce the number one cause of fire on university campuses and in both senior's and low income housing in the United States."
Callahan went on to say, "Safe-T-element(TM)" is a product that helps protect those who are most vulnerable to stove top cooking fires. We believe that this first release of funds from FEMA confirms their commitment to helping protect at-risk groups who are in need of both educational and engineering solutions. We look forward to more announcements as future rounds of funding are released in the coming weeks and months."
About the Fire Prevention and Safety Grants
The Fire Prevention and Safety Grants (FP&S) are part of the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) and are under the purview of the National Preparedness Directorate in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FP&S grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The primary goal is to target high-risk populations and mitigate high incidences of death and injury. The U.S. Congress has appropriated a total of $539,550,000 to carry out the activities of the AFG Program. The governing statute includes a requirement that no less than five percent of the appropriated funds support fire prevention activities. As such, no less than $27,000,000 of the appropriation has been reserved for the Fire Prevention and Safety Grants. The grants under FP&S will be awarded on a competitive basis and are administered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA).
