Yep, bounce and drop...
And we get a big double bottom bounce...
The market followed through to the downside... hard to see why with food soaring in the futures markets.
Quite a reversal candle today... the market will tell us.
Strange action given the run in commodities lately.
That was quite a finish on Friday - HOD reversal candle...

Food and Energy Shortages Will Create 'Perfect Storm', says Prof John Beddington
Growing populations, falling energy sources and food shortages will create the "perfect storm" by 2030, the government's chief scientist Professor John Beddington has said.

The demand for resources will create a crisis with dire consequences, Prof Beddington predicts.
Demand for food and energy will jump 50 per cent by 2030 and for fresh water by 30 per cent, as the global population tops 8.3 billion, he is due to tell a conference in London.
Climate change will exacerbate matters in unpredictable ways, he will add.
"It's a perfect storm," Prof Beddington will tell the Sustainable Development UK 09 conference.
"There's not going to be a complete collapse, but things will start getting really worrying if we don't tackle these problems.
"My main concern is what will happen internationally, there will be food and water shortages," he said.
"We're relatively fortunate in the UK. There may not be shortages here, but we can expect prices of food and energy to rise."
He said we need more disease-resistant and pest-resistant plants and better practices, better harvesting procedures.
Prof Beddington said the "storm" would create war, unrest and mass migration.
Growing populations and success in alleviating poverty in the Third World will create huge demand for food and water in the next two decades with climate change depleting resources.
He said food reserves are at a 50-year low but the world requires 50 per cent more energy, food and water by 2030.
Prof Beddington said climate change would mean Northern Europe would become new key centres for food production and other areas would need to use more advanced pesiticides.
The United Nations Environment Programme predicts widespread water shortages across Africa, Europe and Asia by 2025. The amount of fresh water available per head of the population is expected to decline sharply in that time.

Smucker to buy ConAgra's Knott's Berry Farm
Tue May 13, 2008 5:14pm EDT

NEW YORK, May 13 (Reuters) - Peanut butter and jelly maker J.M. Smucker Co (SJM.N) said on Tuesday it acquired ConAgra Foods Inc's (CAG.N) Knott's Berry Farm food brand for an undisclosed amount.
The maker of Jif peanut butter and Smucker's jelly said the deal with Knott's Berry Farm, which makes jams, jellies, preserves and gift boxes, is expected to add about $40 million in annual net sales.
The deal does not include the unit's amusement park.
"Knott's Berry farm is a well recognized brand ... completing our existing line of fruit spreads and offering our consumers additional choices," said Vincent Byrd, senior vice president of the consumer market division at Smucker.
ConAgra Chief Executive Gary Rodkin said: "Knott's Berry Farm is a very good brand, but given our priorities, we simply could not give it the attention it needs to grow."
ConAgra, whose brands include Healthy Choice meals and Chef Boyardee pasta, said the deal does not affect its previously announced expected sales and profit growth for full-year 2009.
The company in April said it expected earnings of at least $1.55 a share in 2009 and a projection for at least 4 percent sales increases and earnings per share increases of 8 percent to 10 percent in the near and long terms.
ConAgra in March also said it would sell its commodity trading and merchandising operations in a $2.1 billion deal to focus on its core food businesses and to repurchase shares. (Editing by Andre Grenon)

ConAgra says it will cut 212 more jobs to boost efficiency

ConAgra says latest efforts to improve efficiency will cost $40 million, 212 jobs
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- ConAgra Foods Inc. said Tuesday it will cut 212 jobs throughout the company over the next year as part a new effort to streamline its operations.
These latest changes, combined with previously announced cuts in ConAgra's international unit, will cost about $40 million.
The Omaha-based maker of Healthy Choice, Banquet and Chef Boyardee products disclosed the latest cuts in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
ConAgra officials said the latest changes were related to the company's ongoing efforts to integrate its different divisions into a single operating company.
"The work announced today is truly focused on improving the effectiveness of our operations," ConAgra spokeswoman Stephanie Childs said.
The 212 jobs eliminated Tuesday include positions throughout the company.
ConAgra also plans to change some of its internal processes, such as purchasing, to improve efficiency, spokeswoman Teresa Paulsen said.
In February, ConAgra eliminated 92 international jobs. Most of those international cuts came from the company's sales force in markets where it had been less successful.
ConAgra plans to focus its international efforts in North and South America, China and India.
ConAgra said the changes are designed to help improve its operating margins and reduce costs.
ConAgra said the expected cost savings from the latest changes is already incorporated in its fiscal 2009 earnings prediction of at least $1.55 per share. But Paulsen said the $40 million in expenses related to the changes are not included in the outlook because the company considers them one-time expenses.
ConAgra said the bulk of the expense will be $22 million in severance costs related to the job cuts.
ConAgra said last month that it expected to earn between $1.80 and $1.85 per share in fiscal 2008, excluding unusual items. The company's fiscal year ends in May.
