A pilot project will be conducted by a subsidiary company of Motorola that operates a call center providing navigation and location-based information to drivers and hikers. This information is relayed to the end user in a number of ways, including voice message or SMS to his cellular phone, or directly to an in-car PC system.
As part of the project, the call center's agents will use Columbus ' system to provide real-time navigation and location-based tourist information to the end user. This solution represents a significant break-through for Motorola, and enables them to provide their users with maps and aerial photographs for off-road navigation. In addition, the user can receive a wide range of tourist information about places of entertainment, hotels, restaurants etc from approved third-party content providers.

KSIGN International Inc Completes Acquisition of Columbus Geographic Systems Ltd

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- KSIGN International Inc ("KSIGN") today announced the completion of its acquisition of Columbus Geographic Systems Ltd ("Columbus"). The acquisition was completed as of August 14, 2007.

As a result of the acquisition, Columbus became a wholly-owned subsidiary of KSIGN. To better reflect its new business, KSIGN has changed its name to "Columbus Geographic Systems (GIS) Ltd." The company anticipates such name change to take effect September 3, 2007, at which time the company shall receive a new trading symbol.

Pursuant to the terms of the merger agreement, the entire board of directors and officers of KSIGN resigned and were replaced by the board, management and officers of Columbus. Mr. Tsvika Friedman was nominated to serve as Director and president of the new entity.

Interesting target share structure then. Last fin filing had the OS @ 148M+, which should have put the OS all the way down to 74K, after the 1:2000 RS. Pinksheets though is reporting the OS as only 23,848! And still denotes Mark Smith owning it.

IMO, they didn't reverse split to get a target share price of $40, they did it to get a target share structure. The price will adjust itself once more info is discovered on the company that the RM is being done with.

Strange that there's a symbol change KSIG to KSGI), just like AUTH went to AUZR, yet in both cases the name of the company (both of them still being shells) maintained the same name as original...and no other filings from either one to explain the rationale

I thought this was going to have an RS as well (I seem to recall reading about the 1:500 that Redlepper noted, but certainly not the 1:2000), but there is no filings confirming the RS. Thought I saw the RS reference in a shellstockreview alert a few months back, but just checked, and there's nothing there now on this stock...

Interesting about the symbol update though for tomorrow, as per filings, this is a Mark Smith shell......

What is also interesting is the disparity in OS.....
Per the last 10K filing:
As of December 31, 2003, the Company had 148,381,021 shares of Common Stock
issued and outstanding

Per Pinksheets:
Outstanding Shares: 117,199,727 as of 2006-12-31 (which was four weeks after Smith filed his 15-12g)
