I think its a great swing, we shall see
yea liking it, nice base here and small risk
Powered through the little blue line!
6:09AM Columbia Labs sees Q4 revs in the range of $7.4 to $8.0 mln, as compared with $7.1 mln in the fourth quarter of 2012 (no ests) (CBRX) 6.56 :
Services revenues from Molecular Profiles in the range of $2.6 to $3.1 million. Product revenues from Merck Serono in the range of $3.4 to $3.7 million, as compared with $4.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.
This result is in line with the Company's stated expectations. Cash and cash equivalents increased to $20.6 million at December 31, 2013, an increase of $1.8 million from September 30, 2013.
That blue line has given this baby problems in the past.
Sano
thnx~
pre-split $0.80 -1 for 8 shares..
Condella making a cool 650K a year. Shareholders been hoodwinked again. They have shift overhead to the A of the SG&A formula. Pitiful! I can;t believe the BOD lets management just pee into the wind with total disregard for the welfare of its shareholders. Other than some crazy PP I was involved in when I was Kid, this by far is the worst preforming stock I have been involved in. Like a STD its the gift that keeps giving!

Not a bad option considering shareholders are always the last to know. At least it is a strategy as opposed to the convoluted crap we have now. I think it's time for management to find another cow to milk.
3 million of stock is nothing to sneeze at but I doubt they swing much weight here.
8:08AM Columbia Labs: Luzich Partners releases letter to Columbia Laboratories' Board; calls upon Board to Immediately change company's strategy (CBRX) 6.81 : Luzich Partners, owner of over 500,000 shares of Columbia Laboratories common stock and one of the Company's largest shareholders, released a letter that it had sent to the Company's Board on October 22, 2013.
Luzich Partners stated: "We initially intended to keep our letter to the Board private, but the Company's actions have led us to release it publicly with the hope that it may serve as a catalyst for other shareholders to actively scrutinize Columbia's current strategy and bring much needed change to the Company. Our Letter outlined a path for the Company that we believe would deliver a robust mid-20% long term IRR to Columbia's shareholders, cause a material rerating of the Company's stock, significantly lower the risk profile of the Company and preserve the business' upside. The Company's response to the Letter has convinced us that they are unwilling to change course and are committed to a path that, in our opinion, will continue Columbia's legacy of destroying shareholder value. Columbia's stock chart since its IPO is a graphical representation of that legacy...With a stock price that is near all-time lows, we find it odd that management seems convinced that it has shareholder support for its strategy. In the coming days, Luzich Partners intends to outline specific changes that need to be made to the Board and the Company's management team to implement our recommendations and to preserve and enhance shareholder value."
Nice technical action in the last week. Needs to power through the 50 day. Needs more volume. Positive update by management regarding Molecular purchase would send this well into the 8s and maybe beyond.
Chart is holding up very strong. I'm in @ $6.75. Will not be surprised to see a retracement down towards there, but it's been holding very steady at the current level, which is a very good sign IMO. Looks like slow and steady accumulation going on.
Ihub appears to be misquoting outstanding shares. Should be around 12 million not 83...
This looks like a monster about ready to wake up. I'll be looking to get in tomorrow.
The street hates cbrx and management seems like they are the gang that couldn't shoot straight! Looks like everyone believes the acquisition was a crap deal too much for too little.I don't believe most understand the latest news about crinone. The horror.
fins out and a.nose dive. but recovered OK
Should go back up over the next couple weeks. I think the valuation from the acquisition was 7.90 a share. This is a good company. Hold strong
President & CEO Frank Condella discusses Columbia's acquisition of Molecular Profiles Ltd
http://www.earningsimpact.com/Transcript/83599/CBRX/Columbia-Laboratories%2c-Inc----Acquisition-of-Molecular-Profiles-Ltd-
I know that stocks usually drop a bit when they acquire another company so I expect a little down side, but this doesn't sound like such a bad deal... why the panic sell-off?
News on this guy would blow the lid. Yahoo board has interesting thoughts on path forward...
weekly on this thing is ridiculous. like why not $15? $20? still want that 9-10 though
building a base like this area is nothing. pop from here?
Reverse split, penny players gone, stock goes higher without them. What this means to me: ihub = trash
This is just my opinion but a day or two after they report q3. It should recover nicely because as abc said, it shouldn't be a surprise when they report lower earnings. However I do strongly believe there will be a substantial short term pull back. I will be selling a week before and buying back in within a week after earnings unless something changes. I have a pretty good track record with swing plays and it typically results in being able to increase my position 8-15% for free. Once again, JMO.
When exactly do you expect it to fall off a cliff? I need to know when I can get back in.
Don't think it will drop too much on earnings report. FC already gave a forecast. Shouldn't be a surprise. Could be wrong though.
Sell before next q earnings. Buy back in when it drops on earnings report. I know we're talking a couple months off but it will happen.
sucker's strong. overall probably doing 10+ but watch for any sell off for the grab
Before rs a comparable day would have been roughly a .125 gain? I've been holding a while and haven't had a single day like that. I'm not excited about single day gains. They come and go like a sunny day. But it's a gain I haven't seen with this stock to a level I haven't seen with this stock. It came on a day when the overall market lost. Could be a breakout. Could be nothing. Fun to talk about.
It's a good one. One of the better rs plays I've come across. But there's still that issue of those multiple gap lowers.. Ill have to figure out why then work with that.. I have some wiggle room now, so just gonna see how she acts.
Still only at .87 pre split. Got a ways to go still.
It's a great play in the long run regardless of what happens in the next week or two. How many penny stocks, not anymore a penny but whatever, are actually profitable? Hold strong my friend. Set to outperform.
Pump and dump mentality is not necessary. Is the stock going higher or not? Looks like a great move so far.. I'm looking for any weakness to play. My luck it'll be at 9 tomorrow
2 options. Pump and dump and were going right back to 5.80-6 range. Or people realize this is way under valued and were in for a few good days.
Nice, good talk:)
Interesting that the volume today (on no news) was 2x the volume on the day that we got bad news regarding Prochieve.
Before rs many analysts placing an estimated value on this stock between 1.20 and 2.00. I don't see 10-15 per share out of the question with any type of news in the coming weeks. CBRX.
Same. At some point ill regret it I'm sure
Took some CBRX off the table.....
beauty.. don't underestimate the power of the r/s on the right chart. no risk of delisting, uptrending price, profitable pennystock under $1.. all confirmed this move today. now how high she goes, nobody knows
They had no near term risk of delisting. I say runnin to $9 at least
Lol this post was intended for another ticker and was posted here by mistake... but hey now that I'm looking at it this fell off a cliff before, could fall again if one is not careful. Didn't they RS so they could stay listed on the NASDAQ?
