US,
My broker won't be back until Monday. I have forwarded your posts. I will let you know what he says.
Luck to You, Joyce
Joyce, anxious to hear back from your broker on Westside Energy, but...saw an article on MSNBC today about good energy plays. Mentioned CRZO and the Barnett Shale...Carrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO, news, msgs). This company's major unconventional asset is leases and lease options of 45,000 acres in the Barnett Shale formation in north Texas. This natural gas field stretches over 5,000 square miles and may be the largest onshore natural gas field in the United States. What makes this field unconventional? Natural gas companies have had to drill deeper than they initially expected and to employ expensive and initially experimental techniques for fracturing the shale to get at the gas. Using price comparisons from recent deals, Carrizo's Barnett gas reserves are worth $24 to $30 a share, KeyBanc Capital Markets calculates. right now CRZO has a market cap of $750 million
as info...WHT, has 66,000 acres in the Barnett Shale, , 70 million market cap with 15 million in cash. have to think this is a great reward vs. risk play here
Joyce...
ok, you are going to have to help me here...from their most recent filing...
At September 13, 2005, the Company had no cash, no operations and no revenues. These factors raise substantial doubts about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern without raising significant additional capital.
what are your brokers' thoughts here??
I copied your post
and sent it to my broker. I will let yo know what he says. I am leaving for Las Vegas this morning, will be back Wednesday night.
Good luck, Joyce
Joyce...
wondering if you could talk to your broker about Westside Energy (recently moved to AMEX, symbol is WHT)...talked to CEO today...they own 66,000 acres in the Barnett Shale...at $3.70 a share, their acreage is valued at $860 an acre. Others operating in the same area are NESS Energy, valued at $1700 an acre, Infinity Energy, valued at $2180 an acre, TREAX, valued at $7095 an acre and the Carrizo, valued at over $10,000 an acre. Expects some announcements over next 3-4 months which should get WHT on the radar screens. About 17 million shares oustanding...he owns over 3.2 million, other insiders own over 4 million...they are sitting on 15 million in cash so have hte money to move forward...like the risk/reward here...appreciate any input you can get from your broker...he seems to be very knowledgeable in this area...thanks.
this is quite a stock to watch...2500 shares at $1.75, then 100 at $1.50....if a stock ever needed a more liquid market, it's this one...
like old undertake...
always appreciate your insight...sure wish I had started buying at .20-.35....but not going to be greedy and will be very, very happy if it moves up from here...
again thanks..
ps. family certainly comes before a little gas stock...hope you had a great time together.
Thanks Joyce.
as always i appreciate your insight.
Sorry!
My son and daughter in law have been visiting. They just went back to Tennessee yesturday afternoon.
So here goes, Kim Furst, owner and CEO of the company, has a great deal of property and leases. He is very "savvy" when it comes to getting on a an exchange. He has filed and might even get on before EYTC. Don't quote me on that, though. There are only 10 million shares of this company and he has two. That is why it is so hard to buy. Also there is only one MM and he manipulates the price, it's infuriating. But that will change when we get on the exchange. There are two wells hooked up to a pipeline that needs some repair. My broker says it's a go, so I am in. Some othere people on the EYTC message board have have spoken with Kim and all believe it is a good investment. We will have to see but I started buying at .25 and .35 all the way to $2.05. I am still buying.
I think right now energy is the place to be and the small companies are going to be the best investments.
I know I probably didn't answer all your questions but I just do what my broker says to do and he has made me very rich at least on paper.
Good luck, Joyce
usoil
i'd say that she must be on a trip except that eytc didn't go up as it usually does when she is away from home.
Potential-Joyce
i have been following this stock off and on from it being talked about on the eytc board on rb. there is not a lot of info available for this company. how would you compare the potential of cwyr to eytc?
hope you are the lucky one Joyce...would love to see this be the next LNG...
Just got more!
I have had an open bid for $1.60 for two months and it hit today, lucky me.
Good luck all, Joyce
Joyce....understand how difficult it is get filled around $1.60....I've been able to pick up a few 000's shares at $1.65...might want to change...
hard to be patient when you are investing in such a "vacuum"...not to mention these pink sheet stocks make me very nervous consider the history of corruption in this market. Trying to show faith...
as always, thanks.
I have heard nothing but I have had a buy in @$1.60 for the last month. No one will sell any to me at that price. Weird!
Everything is fine as far as Kim can see. Just another waiting game. Patience!
Joyce
Hey joyce..still quiet on CWYR front (other than a higher than usual volume the other day as the stock fell back to $1.50 close)...hearing anything?
In response to your question, CWYR will be sending in (15C211) to the SEC Wednesday the 3rd of August. This will allow them to get on the bullitan board. Then there will be more MM's for this company. So we won't be manipulated so easily (stock price)and we will get off the "Gray". Things are moving along very well now. Two wells hooked up to the pipe line and permission to drill more.
Good luck to you, hope your having an easier time getting your buys in, I have had a buy in for 3 weeks at $1.60, it went to $1.50 today and I still didn't get mine in.
Joyce
Joyce...I also posted on EYTC board about WHT...again, it's not a Canadian company...know your broker has a great understand of this market, would love if you could any info in WHT...thanks.
Joyce...you need to check out WHT....(used to be symbol for Wheaton Minerals, a gold company in Canada, like EYTC, they just moved onto the AMEX). Met the founder of the company...on the ball guy who is very conservative. Owns prime real estate for natural gas in Texas. Sitting on $15 million in cash, good things to be announced over next 6 months.

Very interesting
thanks Joyce....love playing golf too but dealing with some back problems right now...really appreciate your input as always...take care...
Us
I have had an order to buy for two weeks and can't get mine filled either. I think if we uped the offer we could but I'm not. I have a fairly large position and am not going to play the one MM's game. I don't like being manipulated. I really believe in this stock and I know that both wells are hooked up to the pipeline. Kim has sent all the papers needed to the SEC. It's just a matter of time until we are listed. In the mean time, I am going to play golf. See, I not worried.
Good luck, Joyce
Joyce...any expected news soon from what you are hearing?
talk about an illiquid stock...have a 2000 share order to buy at $1.65...won't fill it...

Word from Kim
One well is hooked up to the pipe line and they have filed. Don't know anything else. I guess we will hear news soon. Stay cool, Joyce
Please tell me why no action . I thought we were to have filings by now .
Am I Dreamin ?
Just a little day trip
Went down to San Diego (Harrah's). Got back at 5:30 pm my time. Spent Tuesday night there. Will talk to you soon, hopefully with some good news.
Later, Joyce
OT Miss Joyce,
You go on vacation again?????
Thanks
I don't think anyone is mad at you. At least no one is teling me that. This is a great little stock, I memtioned it to you and mom at the meeting, remember. It is real hard to get shares though. Keep researching, it'll keep your mind off the value of the stock, remember it isn't the price of the stack but the value of the properties.
Good luck to you & mom, Joyce
Miss Joyce.
I check it everyday. Seems everytime you go out of town, or I pyss someone off our other baby goes up.
Today was a very good day. Over there, I'm trying to learn how to do my own D&D, and kept running into a brick wall. Boy are they pyssed. Oh well. The price is a very BIG thing, and now we're on our way back up.
Back to topic. Is this another great pick?
Girl,
I dont want to make anyone mad. " specialy " you. I got what seems to be BAD info over there and tried to prove it out. I met most of the same people that are mad at me. Maybe it's the way I talk!
I'm gonna go for I get anybody mad here. Thinking bout getting in on this one. If we have another day or two over there like today, I can.
Luck To You Girl
Steve.
If nothing else, we can shoot the breeze here and keep your board active. Nice going on getting it started.
Where is everyone?
I thought you guys wanted a message board. There hasn't been much news but there will be soon.
Have a great day, Joyce
You can't buy it
at $1.65, I tried. Had to pay $1.80. There is someone out there selling, though. The only person making money is the MM who is raping the seller and then holding out for $2.00 or better. There is no reason for the drop in price, everything looks good for the company.
Again, luck to you, Joyce
Joyce - why the drop in price ? I had trouble buying at 2.00 now it's 1.65 ?
I am posting this site to give you a little background on this company. It is a small company with a great deal of property. At this time, I don't think we should be anywhere but in energy. Good luck, Joyce
http://www.marketwatch.com/tools/quotes/profile.asp?sid=45515&symb=CWYR&siteid=ELNK&dist...
Hi Joyce...following your lead here, you and your broker seem to have good knowledge of these small energy companies...I am big investor in EYTC but hoping for a little "LNG" magic here...very difficult to get info on this company, can you give me a brief summary.
Okay Joyce you have a friend and I'm sure more will follow
Congratulations! You found me. I tried to get a board on Raging bull to no avail. If I get any information about CWYR, I will post it here. Right now waiting for the announcement that we have "hooked up" to the pipe line. I know we have. Another waiting game.
Good luck to you all, Joyce
