I just saw a tailless squirrel chasing another around in the timber out back. Funny as all get out. Looked like a rat.

Rattlesnake is something I'd like to try.

Squirrel is good, if it's fixed right. When I was a kid, I used to hunt squirrels. Mom and Grandma knew how to fix them. The best part of that dinner was the gravy they made with the crispy breading from the fried squirrel.

I had a squirrel eating all my pears in the back yard a few years ago. I felt the need to show my kids what an outdoorsman the old man was, so I shot it. I tried cooking that on the grill, yuk! Way too tough. I think it's supposed to be cooked slow and low.

I grew up in a small town. I used to take my flashlight and catch crawdads at night in the drainage ditches. I kept those in a tub. Man would they stink if they went bad! Mom wasn't overly impressed. I even had a pet turtle that I kept in the swimming pool. lol

For some reason, I've never ate crawdads? I've caught a bunch of them, but used them for bait. I even raised them as a kid.

Next summer, I'm going to have a crawdad and frog leg feast. Maybe even some turtle.

Me too! I usually throw the nuggets at my kids when they aren't looking, and just eat the fries and play with the toy.

I'd have to know which restaurant I was at, before I could answer a generic question like that. I like different things, at different places.

That depends on the restaurant. Sometimes I go with dishes that the chef puts together but if not, the following are my staples. I am not an adventurous eater.

Dinner could be:

Veal Parm
Shrimp scampi
Steak

Lunch:

Chicken Caesar salad
Pizza
Burger

Breakfast:
Corned Beef Hash and eggs

I've never had them. I thought it would be best to ask someone who isn't used to eating them. I've heard they are good, but wanted your valuable opinion. They look like fresh water lobsters to me, I always imagined they would taste similar????

I thought it was a giant step that I tasted crawfish in New Orleans last week. Actually I thought it was something else. Had I known it was crawfish I probably wouldn't have eaten it.
