I think the deal is done and there are a few minor legal issues to complete.JMHO
Think about this. If one were to sell all today they would have exceeded the target price originally set by most analysts. That is called no lose/all win !!!

I have seen companies that have been sold trade higher than the actual selling price, but only for a short time. Over 3 million shares traded today, I hope we get some news soon.

...but I never have been on board with a stock that could jump so quick, but now i understand....if it sells for 50 a share say, then thats what i can get for it.....the price wont slide back

She will be there. I hope that's the final and definitive response from BIO, i guess i need to pop my head into the room at 3 pm to confirm Reed's presence.

Fidelity is establishing by requirement that they have not sold any of their position to date and maintain the right to dispose of it on behalf of the fund. I think it is good for 2 reasons
1. They are waiting for a diposition
2. Others will by more because of it.

I do not anticipate that a buyout announcement will take place during the webcast tomorrow unless the announcement came out first thing in the AM. It likely would come out AH anyway. Trading might even be halted prior to an announcement. This thing is all over the place.

I believe that ZIOP will rise to $7+ when a buyout is announced or insiders find out.

I'm assuming any talks of buyout or negotiations will send it higher, on the other hand going it alone will probably have some people fleeing from the quick money so maybe a little sell off?

just curious on your thinking guys, Im also in SIRI which has earnings tomorrow morning....busy for me as I'm on the west coast

Also how will Ziop play into this whole thing tomorrow....the short positions on CLDA are insane, you would have to be nuts to short it
