CLRI Set to Finish FH2015 with Momentum from Recent Deals
Cleartronic is wrapping up the first half of 2015 with a flurry of activity. Earlier this month the company’s ReadyOp Communications subsidiary launched a project with a major retail corporation, and followed-up the news that its VoiceInterop, Inc. subsidiary had signed a deal with an airport in Alberta, Canada.
As a technology holding company, Cleartronic is amassing a portfolio of subsidiaries to develop, manufacture and sell products, services and integrated systems to government agencies and business enterprises. Cleartronic is carving its niche in a broader industry occupied by wireless communications companies like Fusion Telecommunications International, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSNN) and Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:UBNT), differentiating itself by offering unique interoperable communications solutions.
Through a license agreement with Collabria LLC, Cleartronic has the right to market the command, control and communication platform, ReadyOp™. The web-based application integrates multiple databases and a robust communications platform to enable fast, efficient access to information and for communication with multiple persons, groups and agencies.
While ReadyOp is typically used by numerous federal, state and local government agencies, Cleartronic is expanding its applications to a variety of industries. ReadyOp Communications recently began work on a multi-year with a major retail corporation based in Arkansas. The project will integrate the ReadyOp platform for the planning, monitoring and reporting of the work done for each individual store location.
“We are pleased to be an integral part of this project as it shows the versatility and flexibility of the ReadyOp platform. While our main focus has been with first responders and government agencies, this project illustrates how ReadyOp can be used in many different industries. This will be our first entry into the retail sector and our plans are to use this project as a model for other opportunities in the retail sector,” ReadyOp Communications President Marc Moore stated in the news release.
Effective communication is a benchmark of Cleartronic’s operations, and to that accord, VoiceInterop recently signed an agreement with the Edmonton Airports in Alberta, Canada, to provide mission critical system for emergency response at Edmonton International Airport.
VoiceInterop’s emergency communication solution, the “VoiceInterop Crash Phone,” combines VoiceInterop’s engineered software with modern, commercial off-the-shelf products that specifically address the needs of commercial aviation airports. Per the agreement, VoiceInterop has engineered and will install, test and provide support for a customized state-of-the-art crash phone solution – the most vital piece of an airport’s communications system – that provides instant voice communications from the air traffic control tower to the airport rescue firefighting station, communications center, and airport police.

CLRI Next-Gen Real-Time Unified Communications Branching Out into Retail & Other Markets
Following up on the major milestone of breaking the 40 million radio transmissions mark with the single-source, web-based event planning, incident management, emergency response and recovery-focused unified communications platform ReadyOp™, Cleartronic, Inc. (OTC: CLRI) has subsequently announced a three-year agreement to participate in HGACBuy, the cooperative purchasing program established by a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the H-GAC (Houston-Galveston Area Council). With HGACBuy’s participating membership of over 6k different government agencies and NPOs, Cleartronic has thusly tapped a major retail vector for the ReadyOp platform, which is being marketed and promoted under CLRI’s wholly-owned ReadyOp Communications subsidiary.
In addition to this major new market addition, the company has just announced a landmark project with one of the biggest retail corporations in Arkansas. Slated to take place over the next three years and focused on bringing the ReadyOp platform to bear on the sprawling planning, monitoring and reporting requirements of the client’s diverse retail location network, this latest announcement shows the power of the revolutionary ReadyOp platform as a unified communications solution that is capable of transmitting data, as well as speech, via a simplified and easy to use web-based portal. This web-based portal approach largely eliminates the need for cumbersome software installs and updates, as is the case with many competitors in this area and yet the platform provides the same kind of highly-secure, mission-critical situational awareness that government agencies rely on for emergency response.
This same robust capability extended to corporations and other commercial entities, which have extensive field personnel teams and diverse logistical footprints, could quickly evolve into significant new business segment for the company and lead to the ReadyOp platform’s standardization among many other retailer operations. The attractiveness of such an easy to use, easy to implement, and yet highly secure unified communications platform is easy to understand for anyone who has ever popped the hood on the complex logistics of today’s big-box retail operations. The immediate appeal to managers of such a system – which would allow scattered personnel across the country to coordinate efforts in real-time, settling issues like inventory loads and communicating crucial operational updates instantly, irrespective of who is using what device in an increasingly BYOD workplace environment – cannot be overstated.
Implementing ReadyOp with this major Arkansas retailer will further validate the platform beyond its core first responder and government agency markets, opening up ReadyOp for use by additional entities across many different industries, all of whom share similar needs to unify communications, irrespective of device, via a single-source virtual framework that allows real-time speech, text, and data transmissions. This initial entry into the retail market is a huge opportunity for CLRI’s ReadyOp Communications subsidiary and will form a success template that can be farmed out to other retailers across the country, hopefully up-selling itself on the efficiency and connectivity advantages conferred on the retailer subsequent to the platform’s adoption.
Cleartronic has hitherto been best known for their patented radio IP gateways and unified communications solutions developed under their VoiceInterop subsidiary, which has an established track record for creating device agnostic solutions that embrace open-standards software, as well as extremely flexible system designs that allow for unprecedented deployment fluidity. That is why budget-constrained local government agencies like law enforcement and fire departments have flocked to the company’s solutions, confident that a mix of AudioMate 360 radio IP gateways used to tie-in radio handsets, and the company’s proprietary software and third party apps, will allow them to span even difficult terrain and create a real-time environment for the exchange of crucial information across a network that also dovetails in everything from traditional phones to PCs, tablets, and smartphones.
The arrangement with Collabria to market their powerful ReadyOp platform markedly enhances the company’s overall portfolio of unified communications offerings and has already led to numerous key contracts or other arrangements. Cleartronic is rapidly establishing itself as one of the front runners in truly 21st century unified communications, and this latest move to boldly expand beyond their core markets into retail and other industries arguably marks the start of what could be a significant growth phase in the company’s history.

CLRI Continues to Impress Airports, Emergency Responders with Affordable, Scalable Unified Communication Solutions
Already home to over 200 different unified communications focused clients, who rely on the company for robust end-to-end solutions that seamlessly span the widest range of audio input devices, from POTS (plain old telephone service), to two-way and iDEN (TDMA-based digital wireless standard invented by Motorola with integrated push-to-talk) radio networks, Cleartronic’s (OTC: CLRI) wholly owned VoiceInterop subsidiary continues to act as a one-stop-shop for government agencies and large commercial enterprises. VoiceInterop’s family of AudioMate360 IP voice gateway devices, along with cutting-edge AudioMate Software and HTTP-based AudioMate Configuration Console for managing hundreds of AudioMate360 devices at once, constitute an open-ended, device-agnostic architecture that is capable of handling everything from unified real-time voice communications, to executing programs and transferring data.
Whereas most solutions in the sector today are highly hardware-centric, VoiceInterop’s subscription-based X-Stream Access service takes a completely different approach, allowing users to leverage existing IT and telecom infrastructure in order to create a platform that enables any authorized user to securely communicate using any radio, telephony, or PC device, irrespective of frequency, manufacturer, or system-based protocols. This universalized approach also allows VoiceInterop to take a standards-based software development approach, bundling feature-rich middleware applications together which third party system integrators can resell.
One of the primary endpoints of such an approach is that these kinds of unified communications (UC) solutions can be executed in a highly scalable fashion, meaning that they can be expanded or contracted with ease to meet the size or changing dynamics of a given client. Whether the client is a small/local government agency, or a sprawling multinational with personnel all over the globe, they can rapidly implement a solution using the company’s easy to deploy software, or have VoiceInterop handle the details. The other major end point with such solutions is the associated cost-effectiveness that only such tailored architectures provide, making it so even government agencies on a tight budget can migrate to a truly 21st century UC solution without breaking the bank.
One of VoiceInterop’s strongest client sectors has and continues to be airports, an environment where real-time UC can mean the difference between life and death, both for emergency service teams, and flight crew/passengers. When a wide-body jet with over a hundred passengers crashes just shy of the runway at one of the world’s busiest international airports, response time and the ability to coordinate field personnel, as well as said personnel’s ability to communicate with one another while out in the field, is of paramount importance. When the unthinkable happens, it is too late to start worrying about a comprehensive UC solution that is hassle-free and can provide the kind of rock-solid, guaranteed response capabilities needed to avert further catastrophe.
In such an event, air traffic controllers in the tower need to be able to simply pick up a phone and instantly connect with first responders at the crash site, as well as other airport personnel. Unfortunately, many airports around the country still are woefully lacking when it comes to a robust UC solution, and so VoiceInterop has been helping clients, like Orlando’s Sanford International Airport, with custom installations and ongoing support of secure, interoperable UC solutions. Other VoiceInterop clients include such well-known airports as Dulles, Green Bay, Omaha, Reagan, and West Palm Beach.
The latest client to hop on board is Edmonton Regional Airports Authority, which manages emergency response at both Edmonton International and the Villeneuve Airport. The company is tasked with providing its site-customized VoiceInterop Crash Phone system in both cases, a system utilizing the company’s proprietary software and leveraging both standard commercial communications devices and existing infrastructure, like IP telephones, two-way radios, and the overhead paging/alert systems, all organized and finely tuned to meet the specific needs of each facility’s personnel.
Moreover, because the system architectures are so highly scalable and built around the software as the real backbone for connectivity, the VoiceInterop Crash Phone systems installed at these facilities can grow as the locations do, allowing for cheap, easy, and effective changes to be made in the future, with system upgrades completed simply by making minor alterations to the software environment. It’s easy to see why airports and emergency first responders and agencies like fire and rescue, as well as law enforcement, trust Cleartronic to provide mission-critical UC solutions, given the low cost, broad-spectrum capability, and easy scalability they provide.

Edmonton International Airport Enters Agreement with Cleartronic, Inc. (CLRI) Subsidiary
Cleartronic today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, VoiceInterop, Inc., signed an agreement with the Edmonton Airports (officially the Edmonton Regional Airports Authority), Alberta, Canada, to provide a mission critical communication system for emergency response at Edmonton International Airport. Edmonton Airports is responsible for operation and management at this airport and also the Villeneuve Airport, the primary general aviation facility in the Edmonton region.
VoiceInterop offers an emergency communication solution called the “VoiceInterop Crash Phone,” a system that combines VoiceInterop’s engineered software with modern, commercial off-the-shelf products, fine-tuned to the needs of commercial aviation airports. VoiceInterop has engineered and will install, test and provide support for a customized state-of-the-art crash phone solution that provides instant voice communications from the air traffic control tower to the airport rescue firefighting station, communications center, and airport police serving this airport. The crash phone system is the most important piece of an airport’s communications systems.
“During an emergency, air traffic control tower personnel simply pick-up the phone and are connected instantly with a combination of first responders and airport operations staff. The ‘VoiceInterop Crash Phone’ system is already in use by many airports nationwide, and has been for many years,” said Larry Reid, CEO of Cleartonic.
Using VoiceInterop software, the system will connect state of the art IP telephones, the airport’s two-way radios, and overhead paging and alerting systems. The system is designed to accommodate the evolving requirements of the airport in the future by implementing minor changes in the software instead of budgeting for new infrastructure equipment.

CLRI Positioned for Rapid Growth with Participation in HGACBuy Program
Cleartronic, through its subsidiary, ReadyOp Communications, Inc., recently announced a three year agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council to participate in the HGACBuy program. This cooperative purchasing program opens the door for local governments and non-profits to make purchases based on contracts established by other government entities. In total, the new agreement gives Cleartronic improved access to over 6,000 government agencies and non-profits across the country, providing the company with ample opportunity to grow the ReadyOp™ platform in the coming years.
For over 30 years, the HGACBuy program has made the procurement process more efficient for government agencies. Effectively, inclusion in the program serves as a blanket contract for Cleartronic and the ReadyOp™ platform, providing participating members with access to the proven interoperability system at a pre-approved rate.
“ReadyOp™ is already in use by many federal, state and local government agencies, hospitals, school, universities, ports and airports, and has been for several years,” stated Marc Moore, Chief Executive Officer of ReadyOp Communications. “Adding the capability for government agencies and non-profits to purchase through ‘HGACBuy’ allows our prospective customers an easier, faster way to purchase the annual licensing for ReadyOp™, plus the radio interoperability capability.”
Originally formed in September 2014, ReadyOp Communications markets, sells and supports ReadyOp™ software through a software license agreement with Collabria LLC. In March, the company gained master distribution rights for the platform for an initial term of five years. Through this agreement, Cleartronic gained a proven communication software to package with the company’s patented hardware products, creating a unified solution to the communications interoperability market.
ReadyOp™ is designed to support daily operations, special event planning, incident management and emergency response and recovery by allowing for quick, dependable communication through a variety of channels. The importance of this interoperability can’t be overstated, and the Federal Communication Commission has highlighted interoperable communications as “a major policy goal for… promoting public safety” in recent years.
By securing exclusive rights to the ReadyOp™ platform and participating in the HGACBuy program, Cleartronic is establishing its place among the leaders in the communications interoperability industry.

CLRI Announces Agreement Between Houston-Galveston Area Council and Subsidiary
Cleartronic today announced that its subsidiary, ReadyOp Communications, Inc., entered into a three-year agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to participate in their “HGACBuy” program.
H-GAC’s Cooperative Purchasing Program, known as “HGACBuy,” allows local governments and certain non-profits to use contracts appropriately established by another government entity. Over 6,000 government agencies and non-profits participate in “HGACBuy,” including the purchasing of the annual subscriptions for ReadyOp™. ReadyOp™ is a secure, web-based platform providing organizations with a single site for planning, response, communications and documentation of personnel, tasks, assets and activities.
“ReadyOp™ is already in use by many federal, state and local government agencies, hospitals, schools, universities, ports and airports, and has been for several years. Adding the capability for government agencies and non-profits to purchase through ‘HGACBuy’ allows our prospective customers an easier, faster way to purchase the annual licensing for ReadyOp™, plus the radio interoperability capability,” stated Marc Moore, CEO of ReadyOp Communications, Inc.
H-GAC, a political subdivision of the State of Texas, has been serving local governments for more than 30 years. “HGACBuy” is a nationwide program that increases the efficiency of the governmental procurement process by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services. The participating members of “HGACBuy” have been awarded contracts by virtue of a public competitive procurement process, compliant with state statutes. All “HGACBuy” products and services have been subjected to a competitive bid or proposal process, subsequently resulting in the award of a blanket contract(s).
“ReadyOp™ supports daily operations and special event planning plus incident management, emergency response, recovery and continuity of operations. ‘HGACBuy’ approval means that thousands of government agencies in our target markets can purchase their ReadyOp™ annual subscription without the normal competitive bidding process,” commented Larry Reid, CEO of Cleartonic.

ReadyOp is designed to be simple, low-cost and fast to implement, allowing for users and groups to be quickly added and trained. The final product is the result of hundreds of hours spent with first responders, government agencies, hospitals and others watching, discussing and reviewing their plans and planning process for incidents and emergencies.
ReadyOp in Action
In 2012, the City of Tampa hosted the week-long 2012 Republican National Convention (RNC). To accommodate the expected influx of more than 30,000 delegates, protestors and 30 state governors, planning began early. Local law enforcement teams, led primarily by the Tampa Police Department (TPD), the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), were to be supported by more than 5,000 additional law enforcement officers from more than 60 different police departments, sheriff’s offices and state agencies.
During the planning stage, both the TPD and FDLE contracted Collabria LLC for use of ReadyOp to support daily operations, incident command structure, and emergency response operations. Throughout the RNC, law enforcement agencies used ReadyOp to send more than 50,700 texts, emails and encrypted texts, and was utilized to send intel alerts, crowd control actions and traffic movement updates to the leadership of the more than 60 participating agencies. Additionally, the 26 governor convoys used ReadyOp's radio voice communications for dispatch and collaboration throughout the event.
Roster
For the RNC, the FDLE was responsible for command and control of the governor security teams, the 24-hour security details for 23 hotels throughout the Tampa Bay area where the governors and state delegates were staying, as well as for other venues where events were held. Names and contact information for more than 500 law enforcement officers from 37 different agencies were imported into the FDLE’s ReadyOp roster and assignments were created for the security details. Roster tags and visual displays were built in the FDLE’s ReadyOp site to assist with the RNC operations. FDLE used ReadyOp extensively as the primary command, control and communications platform through the duration of the event.
The TPD was the lead agency for crowd control, traffic movement and intelligence gathering. Prior to the RNC, a list of more than 5,000 City of Tampa employees was imported into the TPD’s ReadyOp roster from the city’s personnel database. Next, more than 5,000 names of the law enforcement officers from other agencies supporting the security operations were added, creating a listing of more than 10,500 persons. The TPD’s roster was used throughout the period for identifying team assignments, making personnel adjustments and for communications.
Operations Planning and Execution
ReadyOp provides a simple routine for creating diagrams and organization charts to assist in streamlining planning, operations and response activities. Individual roles and teams can be planned and displayed in “boxes” for immediate access and communications.
-- The FDLE used ReadyOp to plan the assignments for security details for the dignitary transport teams, the hotels and the security teams for the various RNC-related events. During the RNC, the FDLE used ReadyOp for immediate contact with personnel assigned via phone, text, radio or email as needed. The names of the assigned personnel were updated throughout the event based on operational changes, venue changes and demobilization.
-- The TPD created a single screen for supporting the operations and intelligence activities, including the TPD command staff, intelligence group, transportation, and the crowd control teams. TPD operations leaders used their ReadyOp operations tab throughout the events and demobilization for command, control, communication and coordination with other agencies.
Notifications
ReadyOp enables communications via cellphone, email, text messages, radio, conference calls and video, plus encrypted voice, text and video as needed. During the seven days of the RNC, a total of 17,317 emails and 33,450 texts were sent via ReadyOp. Notifications were sent for multiple purposes, including traffic management, event coordination, protestor updates and intelligence alerts. One of the primary uses that developed during the RNC was the immediate sharing of intelligence information, including the actions of protestors, across multiple law enforcement agencies. The speed and efficiency of communicating via ReadyOp with individuals or groups of individuals and teams made ReadyOp an invaluable part of the security operations.
Press Releases, Public Information Officers (PIOs) and Media Relations
The City of Tampa used ReadyOp to register and communicate with the more than 500 members of the media and Public Information Officers. More than 12,000 emails were sent via ReadyOp to the roster members including the 24 press releases, plus other updates and information during the period.
