This is a buy imo at .16-.18 to flip around .25-30 again. That being said I'm not buying till I see what oil looks like Monday!!

you'll get what the share price is at the end of that day. You're screwed basically. This etf might bounce but this is a flip play, not a long hold. You need to let someone help you with your $$ you can't just let it disappear holding crappy etf's.

Sorry to bother you. I am brand new to Investors Hub and am wondering if anyone may be able to help me with a question I have. I saw the post about UWT and was hoping to gain some knowledge from the group. I am not sure if I try to sell my position which has going from 15 dollar to .20. Or do i wait until April 3 to get some $ back. I just don't want sell at such a loss when maybe I will receive a bit more with the redemption amount. When you say .30. Do you mean on April 3rd I may get back .30 on my original investment? So for example if it was 10k invested I would get back 3k. Or am I looking at it wrong?

I should never have bought into this. Big error on my part.

Any help is appreciated.

Holders of the ETNs will receive a cash payment per ETN in an amount (the “Optional Acceleration Redemption Amount”) equal to the closing indicative value of the respective series of ETNs on the final valuation date of the Optional Acceleration Valuation Period. The Optional Acceleration Valuation Period will be the period of five consecutive index business days beginning on March 25, 2020 and expected to end on March 31, 2020. Fund owned by Citi..Big Banks pay 10% fines for there criminal practices on 3x leveraged funds and taking your money is 90% profit. They make the rules and nothing the SEC going to about it as they are in bed with the Big Banks.

Unfortunately it doesn't have anything to do with Fidelity, it has to do with the actual creator / issuer of the fund. They are basically 'killing' the fund. You will not have the option to keep your shares, no one will. They said it is all in the prospectus, their right to do it...still it screws people who are wanting to hold long term.

I sold this afternoon @ $0.227, my avg cost was $0.47 so I took a 50%+ haircut.

It amazes me, I been trading since 1999, I'm 53 now, and I'm still finding new ways the big guys screw the little guys...smh but I remain undaunted, best of luck to you in all your trades!

1) Is this with just Fidelity or other issuer's as well(like etrade etc)
2) After 4/3, are they going to liquidate the portfolios or just block trading.
3) Me, I better stay stuck than selling now as mine is under water anyway(-90%). Sure, it will come back soon & I prefer stay stuck.

I got one too in my email. I called the Fidelity desk this morning, this will not be tradeable either on or after April 3rd. Per the issuer's right, they are calling all shares back. They will determine the price based on a formula based on the week of 3/25 to 3/31 or something like that...my eyes glazed over listening...the long and the short of it is me, you are getting royally screwed. Better to sell right now, cause if you get stuck they couldn't tell me exactly what would happen except it could be awhile before it got resolved.

And in summary, me, you are getting screwed.
