A better step in the right direction today. I'll take it.
Thanks -- will be in touch!
Will do what I can buddy...
Sure am glad to have you here -- we're going to need the help with the language and culture barrier.
CHRI at one point had two websites, although one was outdated; both are under someone else now.
I think the CEO, Jiayin Wang (he took over for his son in 2008), may not be running the company anymore, which may be part of the issue. This could only have happened as early as the start of the year.
I checked with their registered agent and the state of DE, where the stock company is registered. They're late with their annual report as of March but still active.
I'm now trying to find contact info for Wang or any of the last known officers. Or what the heck the company has been doing these last eight months.
That's Ok... been married to my wife for 13 years now and all I can say in Chinese is "Wo eye knee"... I love you ..LOL
Been doing some digging with dead ends... I have a phone # of 89-825-239-1788. But I know there more numbers as country and providence numbers...I can get them.
You would think a company with 240 employees would have a website then again I've been to China a few times and nothing surprises me.
The only thing that concerns me is that I found where the CEO and other executives received salaries of $30,000 to over $50,000 per year. I know that doesn't sound like much to us but it's an unbelievable amount to Chinese. Average good pay is about $200 per month. Really good salary for top employees would be maybe $1,200 per month. So to get over $50,000 is friggin huge. You can live VERY VERY comfortable still under about $4000 per year. There would be an incentive to work three years and retire at that kind of salary and knowing what I do about Chinese, most would do about just that.
Let you know.....
Hey, bro -- thanks for stopping by and appreciate any help.
Been with this stock for over two years now, along with some faithful crew. Just realized the number, website, and e-mail are no good anymore, so we've been trying to find what's up.
The website seems to be some video-making site now, far from the company. The phone number rang yesterday but then I got a disconnected tone.
Trying to track down the current officers' contact info or what the company is doing. Your wife could be a huge asset here! My Chinese isn't, well, up to par.
I don't think CHRI being profitable again (maybe still profitable, maybe not, who knows?) has anything to do with it since they were only losing money for 3 or 4 quarters and prior to that they still reported regularly, even when bringing in pretty good profits too.
The CEO no longer being there is an interesting find though and might have something to do with it.
Hey grifter... who you bashing now? LOL
I'll have my wife decipher the home page and have her call the company directly. She can speak Mandarin and Cantonese fluently. Because of the time change and weekend coming up it might take a couple days... I'll let you know.....
Best thing I can do in my mind is put it on the back burner with other OTC failures of the past and if it makes a comeback someway somehow I will get what I can for it. i actually made back money on HRBM a couple weeks ago and its on my watchlist as a trader again. Whoda thunk that would happen lol
I'm going to guess that the stock still has some use or purpose for them -- otherwise they would have just done away with it overnight a long time ago, like they did with the website, etc. Heck if any of us would have realized it until we woke up in the morning, lol.
I'm not saying I support them not keeping us in the loop, but it is a very different culture compared to ours. Still not an excuse, but now the best thing we can do is track them down and reach out.
Yeah but if There is anything to what DC says then we are screwwed even worse . We own shares of a company that doest care about its shareholders. That would be a fade to black for sure. It would explain wy the dont have any communication to shareholders though.
I don’t know if it’s so much fading away than it is losing touch. DC has some good points about us making it more difficult to file, and with CHRI being profitable, they may not need stock sales to make their money like they once did. I’m sure they’re still up and operational over there.
If there was a leadership change, that also may have either given a different mindset or just made it more difficult to cross the language barrier – don’t know. Still got some more pokin’ around to do.
I agree with you. But most dont just fade away completely. Everyone just watches the SP and the lack of trading and news . So it doesnt surprise me there is no website or contacts and would it really make a difference anyway? It doesnt surprise me after there has been nothing done for a year or so
Well if we're only realizing their website and e-mail doesn't work now, that doesn't say a lot about us either. When was the last time anyone tried to contact them? Maybe they figured it didn't matter and just went about their business.
But I'm trying to find an update or someone to connect with now. At least we still know the company is active and not void.
Isnt it a bit curious that there is nobody from the company to chat with? The fact that there isnt a number at the ready for anyone to call ? Its a sign of how much they care about shareholders. Add the fact that they havent said much in quite sometime as to what they are doing and what the direction the company is taking. Its garbage.
Hmmmm....former CEO.
First we have seen that...maybe that does explain the lack of reporting.
I wonder if this is part of the issue? A new company CEO?
Maybe Jiayin Wang isn't head of the company anymore. Only reference I've come across where he may have stepped down:

Just got off the phone with the state of Delaware’s Division of Corporations. CHRI’s annual report to the state was due in March, so right now they’re on a few months late, and the gal I talked with said they are still considered active.
Overall, I’m not really concerned. Still would like to connect with the company, though -- have a few other places to look for some other contact options ...
I don't think so, especially since I'm doing some of the legwork.
Check see if their cable is up to date too. This is junk and nothing more. There is no transparency whatsoever. And the share price is dropping closer to trips. Tis a dead horse and buried.
Yeah, it's not a huge fee, but the dude is still the agent.
http://www.corporationsusa.com/
I'll take that as very positive. I am guessing the Registered Agent must be paid, and that means CHRI is still paying for that service.
Just heard back -- prompt but not a huge amount of help: "Looks like they are late on this years report but they are not void."
He didn't give me any updated contact info and suggested I contact the state's Franchise Tax Section for the latest report. But I guess the good news is they're not void and the company is still the registered agent for CHRI.
Let us know what you find out, if anything. While this was a total gamble stock, still odd for them to just disappear, but then again maybe not for a Chinese company. Still probably won't cut my losses till closer to the end of the year though, considering I've waited this long for them to report.
I even called the phone number listed for China -- no dice. I've just e-mailed their registered agent in Delaware for newer contact information. Hopefully we get a reply soon.
Does CHRI have a website anymore? Chinahealthresource.com is a personal website. Chriglobal.com no longer works. The phone number above has been disconnected (825) 239-1788).
Well that didn't take long -- info@chriglobal.com e-mail no good anymore....
Finally got around just now to sending an e-mail to the company (CC'd their accounting/auditing firm as well). I should have done that a while back, but hopefully I get something back.
Sad fall today; very sad.
I am quite sure CHRI still exists, and is still operating, selling product and doing good business in China.
Unfortunately, I own several of these China-based, U.S.-listed OTC stocks, and one by one they have all stopped reporting.
While I cannot point to anything specific, I believe it is because reporting requirements in the U.S. --and the legal liability that accompanies making the filings, courtesy of Dodd-Frank and other laws---- has reached a point where making the filings is no longer worthwhile for these firms, especially if they are generating sufficient revenue that they do not need additional capital from stock sales.
So, ironically, the more successful the company is in the Chinese marketplace, the more likely that the company will go dark, as it has no more need for outside financing.
Big dump today. Bound to happen not reporting all year. Been in this stock for almost two years and considering cutting my losses myself. It's a shame as they had always reported regularly. Makes you wonder if they even exist anymore as it sure appears that they don't.
Does anyone know why there hasn't been an E added to the symbol like what has previously occurred? I have to assume they are no longer under the rules of the OTCBB?
seems to be some activity here today--- filings coming??
we can only hope!
C'mon management, file the 10K, the 10Q--- anything!
Yep- I am pretty disappointed too. Not sure what to do.
How many Qs are we missing now – 2? Not even a late filing notice since last November. Sad. OTC has a nice stop sign up there for everyone to see – that’ll help us.
WTH is this company doing?? It used to be so dependable all things considered.
I suppose someone should try and reach out to them to make sure everyone’s still kicking over there. Anyone done that lately?
I will be more interested when it trades regularly at a decent volume at .02-.05 but I doubt we will see that anytime soon if ever
....interesting, however, that there there are over 390,000 shares on the bid at .0005-- higher than that last trade.
Wow!!!!! Huge day here today. Massive trade of 600 and change. What a POS
Couple of small buys here EOD-- hope it is a positive omen.
Damn whens the next pump so i can dump this POS
Yeah, I do believe that was the plan. Oh well -- was nice to see in my account for a little bit!
And thats no surprise. Somebody picked yesterday to dump some of this crap stock. Wish I thought of it first.
Sheesh ... guess I got my answer...
Will be interesting to see how the day starts -- another round of buying or a selling from anyone left from the promo.
Over 2 mill shares today. 20000 shares tomorrow.
yea thats what i was wondering too
I think it was a private promo for someone to dump share. CHRI is too cheap to run their own promo.
so CHRI pays for a promo, but doesnt file yet?? only in the penny world i guess..dumb move after dumb move...well maybe they file soon..sounds pretty stupid to me they promo this and not file..seem clueless with all the sec suspensions against companies that dont file these days..seems like theres possibly way more to lose here not filing
just my personal opinion
Still up 36%--- better than a drop.
Add some financials and we could see a big jump, as the book value is way above this level.
The excitement was manufactured, which is too bad. But I've never thought this should be this low to begin with.
Although they're always late, the fins show a pretty decent company with good numbers and profit -- hard to find that in pennies. Recently they even were making efforts to better learn English to improve investor relations and getting fins filed on time.
But the China stigma never helped this one. Neither did the failed HBRM merger. Too bad because I've always like this one.
