I guess now we know. Seems I was right about the industry wide changes but certainly not beneficial to us:(
Chimera to Exit the Online Gaming Industry
LAS VEGAS, June 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Chimera Technology Corp. ("Chimera") (Pink Sheets:CNOC) (http://www.chimeratechnology.com) is pleased to confirm that the company has entered into a Letter of Intent with Pegasus Gaming Corp "Pegasus" (Pink Sheets:PGGG) whereby "Chimera" will assign all aspects of the turn key gaming technology and applications to "Pegasus" in return for payment of 15 million "Pegasus" common shares. Pegasus will also provide an undertaking to assume all contractual agreements that Chimera has in place to Licensees of the Chimera 2 technology platforms and applications. These contracts will include all Costa Rica operations that Chimera has in place for licensees, who will see business as usual continue with no changes, although operations will now be under the management of "Pegasus". On transfer of these facilities to "Pegasus", "Chimera" will have no further involvement with software licensees. As consideration for a non-recourse transfer, "Chimera" will cancel shares of "Pegasus" originally received as considerations for the granting of an exclusive licensing right for the European continent in 2005.
Over the past 12 months, the Board of Directors has been reviewing several business options for "Chimera", which has been necessitated by the significant reduction in future business prospects for the gaming related software providers world wide, with the passing of the U.S. legislation on illegal online gaming bill. These reduced business opportunities are a direct result of several large gaming companies ceasing operations and or disposing of their operations due to current changes in the operations of Internet gaming companies which can operate in jurisdictions that consider the business applications as illegal. In order to refocus on building shareholders value, "Chimera" has therefore assigned all interests in the proprietary software and the operations thereof to "Pegasus", who since 2005 are already operating with European and Asian facing operators. With the transfer of the technology and proprietary applications, "Pegasus" has committed to carry on serving all "Chimera" licensees, in addition to their existing client base. The Board of Directors has approved that all proceeds from the sale of the operations are to be distributed to "Chimera" shareholders as a dividend and more information on this disbursement will be available shortly.
Ken Chua, "Chimera" President, commented, "While we consider that in due course gaming applications legislation will be passed which will enable Internet operators to look to resume business operations on a larger scale, "Chimera" has not received new license applications which will meet the required business plan targets. In this regards, the Board has given instruction to cease operation which are no longer profitable and to look to other business opportunities to continue building shareholders value. The Gaming industry has presented "Chimera" with exciting business opportunities in the past few years, which were profitable until operators were legislated to only conduct businesses in the appropriate jurisdictions, and as such, no new growth has been evident. We consider that "Chimera" has achieved its mission to becoming a leading provider of the innovative solutions to internet based Gaming operations and have negotiated very favorable terms for our licensee and sub-licensees to continue operations, with no effect on their existing operations and with the benefit of new technology and application which have been pending introduction, to complement their existing platform usage."

WOW, you could be right about industry wide as well. I'm still holding my other though, but I am finally green, and seems to be slow and steady up right now, so hopefully it will have a really good day soon.
Twitchey Almost Out (Hopefully turning around now)
Twitchey
RTGV ran as well this month, up 6000% at the peak since Jan 8! They are in the same business as CNOC, I wonder is something coming up industry wide?
Note this is NOT a buy recommendation.
Lets say I got in a ways back at considerably higher than this. Thought once or twice about averaging down, but it looked like a dead issue. Was thinking again last week. Snoozin and losin:(
Gut feeling, company is buying back just before news hit the streets. Then this will rocket for a little while if news does come out. JMHO
PS What are you averaged at? If you don't mind me asking, it's OK either way just curious.
Twitchey Almost Out
Yeah I wonder whats driving it? A couple days with 1mm volumes is certainly strange for this one. None of the boards I check has any clue as to why. Doesnt look like a dead cat bounce either, too stable. Unfortunatly Im far from out on this one:(
Stumbled across HBSC yesterday at .08. Over .14 today lol. 'Missed it by that much':)
Ok make that over .17 today!:(
Well Otterman, I was right with this one it would seem, up more today, and I'm down more on the one I bought. I just can't seem to win. Picked 3 runners this year out of 4, and played all of them wrong. Man I need a break. OH, and more funds.lol
Twitchey Almost Out, for good!!!
It's looking a lot better, I think you might see .03 in the next week or so. My luck though, I had 2 that I thought were good chart plays, this and HKBV, if I bought this I would be up 40%, instead I'm down 30%. I bite. lol
Twitchey Almost Out
GLTA
Hmm, busy here this morning. Wonder what's up?
Also I am not sure now with the lack of volume today. It may just trail off sit at .012 and then drop again due to lack of volume. But as I said in previous post, I like seeing weekly sar's go below. I was just in CHHH during part of it's run, because I got in when the SAr wewnt below, and there was nobody really on that board either, but they did have good news.
I'm not the greatest charter either by any means, but the middle of the bollinger band is at .012, and my high that I said it may hit is the top of the bollie band on the weekly chart. This is totally speculation on my part though. I would wait for confirmation of a reversal back up before I go in though. I just really like the charts I have been looking at with the weekly Sar's going below.
Am I reading that right (Im not the best charter), you feel the PPS may fall to near .008?
I have that with another play of mine right now, HKBV does not show on bid and ask either. It's like there is no trading what so ever. Never seen that before.
Hey Otterman here are the daily and weekly charts.
Daily
Sar below think it will bounce off of middle bollie band and run again.
Weekly
Weekly Sar went below last week, I figured it may trace back a little this week, if it can hold close to the middle of the bollie band then hopefully it will break out to at least the .034 (50MA) area or maybe more.
I think that after a couple of years of promises the faithful have given up. I still hold a few and will continue to wait for boom or bust.
Anyone still out here? Seems a long time since anyone posted here and yet Chimera draws closer to OTCBB status every day.
Hi Lenny. I seem to think a good entry point is around .05-.06
Were gonna need some good PR's to help push the price up. IMHO
I think were going to have some very soon. on 6/13-6/15 Their going to be involved in the Global Interactive Gaming Summit Expo. That could create alittle pop. Also on 7/1 their facility in Costa Rica is supposed to be completed. Also on 7/1 Their suppose to be introducing their new mobile product. SO with a few good PR's it could get us going.
I think two things that would really get us moving are 1. 2004 audited results. 2. getting listed on the OTCBB. Time will tell. I think it could test its 52 week high by the end of the year. All Speculation of course.
Good Luck
Matt
dodge were do you see this pps going ?????

Gaming device OK'd by Senate
By Cy Ryan
<cy@lasvegassun.com>
SUN CAPITAL BUREAU
CARSON CITY -- An electronic handheld device that would allow a gambler to play the slots, poker, 21 or roulette as he wanders through a Nevada casino is a step closer to reality.
The Senate on Thursday approved and sent to Gov. Kenny Guinn Assembly Bill 471 that would permit the state Gaming Commission to adopt regulations to control the tiny units and to license companies that make them.
But the remote betting devices won't be appearing immediately in Nevada casinos. It will take months for the commission to adopt needed regulations, and then there would be background investigations of those manufacturing the units.
A device has been developed by a New York Company that operates a bookmaking business in England that takes bets on everything from stocks to soccer games.
"What the bill is designed to do is to utilize state-of-the-art technology to permit customers to play during what might otherwise be downtime, obviously with the goal of increasing casino revenues," said Joe Asher, managing director of Cantor Fitzgerald in testimony earlier to the Senate Finance Committee.
Dennis Neilander, chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, said Wednesday these devices are used in the United Kingdom and people bet on everything from the outcome of the Oscars to whether it will rain tomorrow.
The bettors in the UK, said Neilander are called "punters" and they carry the devices around with them and take them home.
He said that despite approval by the Legislature and a likely signature from the governor, it still will be some time before the remote gaming devices are allowed in Nevada casinos. He said the control board was "neutral" on the issue, but the commission would have to adopt regulations where the "gizmos" could be used and rules to stop any abuses.
Cantor Fitzgerald has 2,000 employees and offices around the world, is a financial services firm and is involved in cutting-edge technology.
Neilander said other companies are also interested in distributing the devices.
The bill allows a casino with 100 slot machines and a table game to employ the devices. A customer would deposit money and then obtain the mobile gaming apparatus.
No longer would the player have to sit before a slot machine or at other games. The customer would be able to use the device only in public areas of the casino -- not in hotel rooms or off the premises.
Asher said that when a customer tried to play a game in a prohibited area, the unit would shut down. And it can be programmed with a fingerprint reader so that someone else, including a minor, could not use it, if lost or stolen.
When finished, the player would return the device to the casino to collect his winnings, if any or to recover what was left of his deposit, if any.
It could also be programmed to cut off a bettor after a certain amount is lost.
Bob Faiss, Las Vegas attorney for Cantor Fitzgerald, said mobile gambling does not include betting on the Internet. He said these units "must be secure and reliable and provide reasonable assurance they are used only by adults."
For tax purposes, they would be treated like a slot machine. There would be a levy of $330 per year plus a percentage on the gross revenue license fee.
Neilander said "different people" came to the gaming commission to inquire about allowing the remote betting units in Nevada casinos, but the commission determined the existing law does not permit them.
The gaming board, Neilander said worked with Cantor in writing the bill to make sure the state would have adequate controls over what could be a new fad in Nevada.
There was no debate in the Senate and the bill passed 20-1. Sen. Maggie Carlton, D-Las Vegas, cast the lone dissenting vote. It had earlier been approved by the Assembly by a 41-0 vote.

Nevada Senate eyeing wireless gaming
By Richard N. Velotta
LAS VEGAS SUN
State lawmakers are close to approving legislation that would approve some forms of wireless gaming -- but only in casinos, and only if regulators write rules allowing handheld betting.
And experts say it would be quite some time, at least a year, before gamblers would be able to use a cell phone or handheld digital device to place a wager in a casino.
The Nevada Senate was scheduled today to consider a bill that would allow gamblers to use such devices to place bets while sitting at poolside, in lounges or in restaurants within a casino. The bill, unanimously approved by the Assembly and expected to be signed by the governor, originally was set to be voted on Wednesday.
But approval of the concept only opens the door for regulators to begin testing systems and develop policies. Experts in the industry say that could take a minimum of a year to review.
Assembly Bill 471 defines "mobile gaming" as conducting gambling games through communications devices operated solely in public areas of an establishment which holds a nonrestricted gaming license and which operates at least 100 slot machines.
Under plans outlined for regulators, casinos would likely distribute PDAs, cellular phones or other devices to gamblers who wanted to use them. They couldn't legally be used in hotel rooms or in places where minors could operate them.
State Gaming Control Board member Mark Clayton said today that mobile gaming would only occur after the commission writes rules governing it after finding that mobile systems are secure and reliable.
He said the board's electronic services laboratory would review and test technology, just as it scrutinizes new games and other technology that is introduced into casino settings.
One expert noted that requiring the devices to be used in the state's casinos limited the appeal of the measure.
"The fact that you have to actually go into a casino and take out a device to do it kind of negates the value," said Julie Ask, an analyst with technology research firm Jupiter Research.
Even so, Ask said, Nevada's experiment could serve as a platform for companies to begin figuring out how do offer wireless wagering on a wider scale.
Whether or not that ever happens depends more on the U.S. government relaxing gambling laws than on technology.
Jupiter Research has predicted that mobile gambling could be a $16 billion business worldwide by 2009. None of that would be in the United States, however, because of U.S. gambling laws.
Companies that make software and equipment for mobile gambling applauded the Nevada move, betting that it will be a boon to their business.
"If it is approved as expected, this will be a great milestone for this industry as it will add legitimacy and credibility," Ken Chua, president of Chimera Technology Corp., said in a statement. The Las Vegas company plans to introduce a new wireless gambling system in July.
Another company, Diamond I Inc. of Baton Rouge, La., claims it is negotiating with several Las Vegas casinos to roll out its "Wi-Fi Casino GS" system as soon as the Nevada legislation becomes law.
